Abstract

Anemia is a condition where the level of hemoglobin (Hb) in the blood is <12 g / dl. Teenagers have a high risk of anemia, especially iron nutritional anemia. Adolescent girls have a higher risk of anemia compared to boys because of some risk factors such as menstruation (too frequent frequency, too much blood coming out, and too long menstruation) etc. One way to overcome it is by food fortification. One of the foods that can prevent iron deficiency is dates and green beans. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of administration of dates palm juice and green bean extract on increasing levels of HB adolescent girls. This study uses a pretest and posttest research design with samples 13 respondents of the date palm juice group and 13 respondents of the mung bean juice group, with a sampling technique that is purposive sampling. Analysis of data using t-test dependent test with a degree of confidence <0.05. Statistical results are the influence of giving date palm juice with p value = 0.001 and green bean juice with p value = 0,000. The conclusion is that there is an effect of giving dates palm juice and green bean juice on increasing Hb levels in young women. It is hoped that students will understand correctly about nutritional needs to prevent anemia

Abstract

Wounds to the perineum or episiotomy are difficult to keep clean and dry. Special observations andcare are needed to ensure the perineal part can heal quickly and inspections should be carried out to find out if there are signs of infection or inflammation of the part. One of the medicinal plants that have the potential to treat wounds is the Bidara plant (Ziziphus Mauritiana). The Bidara plant (Ziziphus Mauritiana) is a plant that has many properties and has been used for herbal medicine in several countries and has been clinically investigated for its content such as the content of alkaloid compounds, glycosides, saponins, flavonoids, tertenoids and phenolics as well as the most abundant antioxidant activity in the leaves. .This research is a quantitative research using pre-experimental or quasi method. This study was conducted to determine the effect of using antibacterial gel of bidara leaf extract on episiotomy wound healing in the working area of HAMS KISARAN RSU. Based on the results of statistical tests using the Wilcoxon test, it is known that the p value (0.005) < (0.05) means Ho is rejected, so there are differences in episiotomy wound healing before and after the use of antibacterial gel of bidara leaf extract. These results prove that there is a significant effect of using antibacterial gel of bidara leaf extract on episiotomy wound healing at HAMS Hospital Kisaran. These results prove that the use of antibacterial gel of bidara leaf extract is effective in accelerating episiotomy wound healing.

Abstract

The causes of maternal death have changed, where bleeding and infection tend to decrease while the proportion of preeclampsia-eclampsia is increasing. The general purpose of the study was to find out the relationship between pre-eclampsia and the action of Sectio Caaesaria at Abdul Manan Simatupang Hospital in 2021. This research method uses quantitative methods with a cross sectional approach. The population of this study amounted to 73 with a sample of 73 mothers who gave birth by using a total sampling technique. The research instrument used an observation sheet. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis and chi square test. The results showed that of the 73 respondents who gave birth, the majority experienced severe eclampsia as many as 41 people and 38 people who received Sectio Caesarea (52.1%). Meanwhile, of the 32 mothers who suffered from mild preeclampsia who received Sectio Caesarea, 8 people (11.0%). The results of the chi-square test are known that the significant value of p value is 0.000 (p <0.05), then Ho is rejected so that in this study there is a significant relationship between pre-eclampsia and sectio caesaria at Abdul Manan Simatupang Hospital in 2021. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between pre-eclampsia and sectio caesarea. Suggestions for this study are expected for health workers to be able to detect complications of pregnancy and childbirth as early as possible in order to minimize the incidence of severe pre-eclampsia

Abstract

Menstruation is one of the aspects of sexual maturity that first occurs during puberty of a woman. Menstruation (menstruation) is periodic and cyclic bleeding from the uterus accompanied by the release (desquamation) of the endometrium. Menstruation (menstruation) accompanied by pain (Dysmenorrhea) is abdominal pain that comes from uterine cramps that occur during menstruation. According to WHO (Word Human Organization) the incidence of dysmenorrhea in Indonesia is 64.25%, consisting of 54% primary dysmenorrhea and 9.36% secondary dysmenorrhea. Handling dysmenorrhea by giving analgesic drugs as symptomatic (pharmacological) and non-pharmacological therapy, namely drinking papaya leaf decoction. This research is a type of quantitative research with a quasi-experimental one group pre post test method without control. Research with a group design of subjects was given an intervention without any comparison. This research was conducted at MTs An-Nur in Aek Korsik village in 2021, with a population of 72 students and a sample of 30 respondents. The sampling technique uses quota sampling. Data collection The intensity of dysmenorrhea using the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS), statistical analysis of the data using the paired sample T-Test test obtained that the average level of menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea intensity) or the mean before being given papaya leaf decoction was 4.70. Then there was a decrease for the average intensity of dysmenorrhea or the mean after being given papaya leaf decoction to 3.20 and the p-value was 0.000 <0.05 (p = 0.000 <0.05). The conclusion is that there is effectiveness of papaya leaf decoction in adolescent girls against dysmenorrhea during menstruation in MTs. Annur of Aek Korsik Village, so that it is hoped that young women who experience dysmenorrhea can consume boiled papaya leaves well.

Abstract

Mastitis is a problem in the breast that is characterized by pain caused by inflammation of the breast which can be accompanied by infection or non-infection. Mother's lack of knowledge about the breastfeeding process can cause errors in breastfeeding positions which result in blisters on the mother's nipples. In addition, it also causes the process of releasing and releasing breast milk that is less than optimal, causing breast engorgement. This study aims to determine the relationship between postpartum mother's education and knowledge about Mastitis in the Romauli Independent Midwife Practice in 2021. This study used a descriptive correlation method. The sample in this study was postpartum mothers 0-42 days in labor and postpartum visits at the Romauli Independent Midwife Practice in 2021 with a total of 30 respondents. Researchers used primary data and the data were processed using SPSS and presented using open tables. The relationship between postpartum mother's education and knowledge about mastitis at the Romauli Independent Midwife Practice in 2021 based on the results of the Spearman's-rank test, p-value = 0.009 (p<0.05) which means that there is a relationship between postpartum mother's education and knowledge of mastitis with sufficient strength of the relationship. Knowledge of postpartum mothers about mastitis can be influenced by important factors, one of which is education. The higher a person's education, the better his knowledge will be.
