Abstract

The quality of education needs to be observed and maintained in building an effective teaching and learning environment. There are several factors that can affect the quality of education in a school, such as the availability of human resources, supportive learning facilities, environmental conditions, and various other factors. The focus of this research is on the ideal number of teachers in a school, considering the number of students and the availability of facilities such as laboratories and libraries, which will be correlated with the failure to pass the class rate. Data were obtained from the official website of the Kemdikbudristek regarding educational statistics, comprising 29 districts in Tangerang Regency for the academic year 2023/2024 at the senior high school level. The analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression, and it was found that the variables "availability of laboratory" and "availability of library" did not correlate with the failure to pass the class rate, whereas the "teacher ratio" variable correlated with the failure to pass the class rate with a value of +0.46. This can be explained that for every increase of 1 unit in the teacher ratio variable, or in other words, the fewer teachers teaching in a school compared to the number of students, the failure to pass the class rate will also increase by 0.46 students. Therefore, the results of this research can provide input for schools, especially in Tangerang Regency, to pay attention to the number of teachers in each school.

Abstract

Government agencies such as the Office of Public Works (PU) Bina Marga and Cipta Karya (BMCK) are in charge of managing and carrying out projects related to housing and road infrastructure development, maintenance, and oversight. There is a need to keep an eye on the road infrastructure projects going on at the Public Works Office of Bina Marga and Cipta Karya. Road building is slowed down, complicated, and prone to mistakes since the Public Works Office of Highways and Human Settlements does not yet have a framework in place to enable monitoring. The goal of this study is to develop a method for tracking road building progress that will make the process easier and faster. One development approach that streamlines the many phases of development to make it more adaptable and flexible is the Extreme Programming technique. This system is designed using UML(Unified Modeling Language) as a means to analyze and design the system. The test results using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) resulted in a value of 92.33%, which is considered very good and has met the expected criteria.

Abstract

The development of information technology is currently very fast and has become a necessity in all fields, one of which is information systems in school libraries. Many libraries in various schools, both public and private, still use conventional or manual methods to manage data in their libraries. Aisyiyah Bantul Unggulan Middle School is an Islamic education-based school that has a library that still uses conventional methods, namely the process of borrowing books still using a borrowing card and then entering it into Excel, so it takes quite a long time, besides making it difficult for library administration in managing books and searching for books. With the construction of this system, it is hoped that it can assist in the process of borrowing books, assist the library administration in managing book data and loading reports, and make it easier for students to obtain information. The method for developing this library information system uses the Waterfall method. So it makes it easier to complete the website development process because there are stages in this method starting from communication, planning, modeling, construction, to delivery, while for the system testing process using the black box testing method, the results obtained are that the system runs without there is a problem and the features work fine. With this system, it is hoped that it will provide significant benefits in assisting the book borrowing process by using QR-Code scans, assisting library administration in managing existing book data and assisting in creating reports and making it easier for students to obtain information on existing books.
