Abstract

The Current technological developments make PT.  KAI (Kereta Api Indonesia) as a business entity that regulates and provides rail transportation services has been transformed into providing online ticket reservation services, one of which is through the KAI Access application.  But it needs to be realized that the marketplace trend has also penetrated travel deals that also provide train ticket reservations, one of which is Traveloka. This interesting phenomenon is the basis for conducting research to see whether the application owned by PT KAI has been able to compete with other applications that also provide online train ticket sales services. By being able to compete, PT KAI can show credibility in providing online ticket transactions. Both applications are tested using the Usability indicators from HCI: Learnability, Efficiency, Memorability, Errors, and Satisfaction.  This study resulted in a comparison of the two applications by each HCI indicator. The discussion on each indicator it can be seen the classification of the level of usefulness from KAI Access and Traveloka

Abstract

Gereja merupakan komunitas beriman kepada Yesus Kristus yang melakukan berbagai kegiatan keagamaan. Dalam mengelola kegiatan yang padat tersebut, pusat administrasi gereja sering menghadapi risiko kesalahan manusia. Menghadapi tantangan digitalisasi, muncul ide untuk menciptakan sebuah aplikasi sistem informasi yang dapat mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, yaitu aplikasi pusat informasi gereja. Tujuan dari aplikasi ini adalah membantu kelancaran kegiatan gereja dan mempermudah proses administrasi dalam setiap kegiatan yang dilakukan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi pusat informasi gereja yang dikembangkan dapat diakses oleh seluruh anggota gereja melalui platform Android. Fitur-fitur yang ada dalam aplikasi membantu mempermudah proses penerimaan informasi gereja dan administrasi. Tampilan aplikasi juga diterima dengan baik oleh para jemaat. Skor rata-rata dari pengukuran tingkat daya guna sistem menggunakan metode SUS adalah 72, yang dapat dikategorikan sebagai grade scale C dengan adjective ratings good

Abstract

The development of technology in online transportation services like Gojek has a significant impact on meeting the mobility needs of modern society. The city of Salatiga, with many students from outside the island, has a considerable number of individuals without their own vehicles who prefer to use Gojek services. Therefore, research was conducted to analyze the preferences of students in Salatiga in determining the type of Gojek online transportation using the Naïve Bayes method. One hundred questionnaires from Salatiga students were collected, and the results yielded probability values for Gojek service preferences based on a combination of variables such as weather, load, destination, and time. It is evident from the probability values that weather and time variables play a crucial role in influencing users' decisions between using Go-Ride or switching to Go-Car. These results can provide guidance for Gojek in designing service innovations that are more responsive to user needs based on various specific factors.

Abstract

In the automotive spare parts industry, efficient supply chain management is the backbone of operational success. Amidst this complex ecosystem, companies face challenges in delivering fast, reliable, and competitive services, accommodating a constantly evolving consumer base with discerning preferences and rising expectations. This article aims to identify challenges in developing tracking and delivery scheduling applications for the automotive spare parts industry and improve system performance by introducing effective solutions. The research adopts a system development approach using the Waterfall method to produce a responsive and user-friendly web application, followed by functional testing using Black Box and evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS). Development of the tracking and delivery scheduling application using the Waterfall method resulted in a reliable and responsive application, with all system functionalities running smoothly. SUS testing indicated that the application has a good level of usability, with an average score of 77.5 out of 100. This study successfully provides relevant and efficient technological solutions to overcome operational barriers in the automotive spare parts industry, with the potential to enhance customer satisfaction and solidify the company's position as a pioneer in the automotive aftermarket sector. However, further improvements in application usability can be achieved through future iterations guided by user feedback and additional usability testing.

Abstract

IGiven the rapid development of technology, education in the field of technology becomes crucial for everyone. One of the roles of technology education in fostering someone's creativity can be achieved through learning about things that require creativity, such as animation in the digital world. The Information Systems Program at Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia organized a community service activity in the form of a workshop on November 25, 2023, covering the introduction to the basic concepts of 2D and 3D animation. The workshop was facilitated by Edwar Juanda, S.Ds., M.Ikom, as the speaker, and was attended by 90 participants from high schools and vocational schools in various areas around the Banten province. The workshop proceeded smoothly, and the participants appeared very enthusiastic and active throughout the event. Particularly during the workshop session, participants took turns trying out Virtual Reality tools provided by the speaker. The evaluation through a questionnaire received a positive response from participants with a score of 4.12, indicating agreement. It is hoped that this workshop will provide a broader insight into the younger generation regarding the application of technology, especially in the creation of 2D and 3D animations.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi pariwisata Kabupaten Toraja Utara yaitu kurangnya informasi yang memadai mengenai objek wisata, belum adanya sistem yang memberikan informasi pariwisata secara menyeluruh tentang objek wisata, penyebaran informasi masih bergantung pada metode tradisional yakni dari mulut ke mulut sehingga informasi mengenai tempat wisata masih belum tersebar secara luas.  Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, diperlukan sistem yang dapat mengelola informasi objek wisata serta menyediakan informasi yang lengkap dan mudah diakses. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem informasi pariwisata Kabupaten Toraja Utara menggunakan metode User Centered Design (UCD) dan WebQual 4.0. Salah satu tujuan utama pengembangan sistem informasi pariwisata di Kabupaten Toraja Utara adalah sebagai alat bantu dalam menyampaikan informasi mengenai kawasan wisata yang tersedia di daerah tersebut kepada para wisatawan, dengan tujuan membantu administrasi daerah dalam mengoptimalkan sektor pariwisatanya. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi sistem informasi pariwisata yang telah di kembangkan menggunakan Webqual 4.0. Dari hasil evaluasi sistem informasi pariwisata menggunakan WebQual 4.0, ditemukan bahwa nilai Usability Quality mencapai 85.60%, Information Quality sebesar 85.24%, dan Interaction Quality sebesar 82.35%, dengan kategori 'Baik' pada setiap variabel. Penilaian tinggi pada Usability Quality menandakan antarmuka sistem memberikan pengalaman pengguna yang baik dan mudah digunakan. Sementara itu, Information    Quality yang tinggi menunjukan bahwa informasi yang disajikan dalam sistem mudah dipahami, akurat, dan relevan. Nilai tinggi pada Interaction Quality menandakan bahwa sistem memberikan pengalaman interaksi yang memuaskan bagi pengguna. Dari hasil tersebut dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa pengembangan Sistem informasi pariwisata di Kabupaten Toraja Utara telah terbukti sebagai alat yang efektif dalam menyampaikan informasi tentang kawasan wisata kepada para wisatawan dan juga membantu administrasi daerah dalam mengoptimalkan sektor pariwisatanya.

Abstract

Media Sosial Tiktok sangat melekat dengan keseharian generasi Z yang saat ini masih duduk di bangku sekolah. Tiktok terkadangan membuat anak-anak usia sekolah menghabiskan waktu secara berlebihan bermain gadget hingga mengganggu waktu belajarnya. Untuk meningkatkan produktivitas di media sosial, prodi Sistem Informasi Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atma Jaya menggelar pelatihan pembuatan konten Tiktok bagi pelajar SMA dan SMK di wilayah Tangerang, Banten. Narasumber pelatihan ini yang juga seorang influencer Tiktok berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pelajar SMA dan SMK yang mengikuti pelatihan ini. Sebab pada proses pelatihannya peserta selain menerima penjelasan tentang materi berkonten, mereka juga langsung didampingi pada sesi praktek membuat konten Tiktok. Hasilnya, peserta semakin mampu membuat konten review kegiatan, review fasiltas dan tempat, dan konten informatif lainnya. Nilai pre-test dan post-test juga menunjukan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan sebesar 74,4 persen pada peserta dalam pelatihan ini.

Abstract

Perkembangan Revolusi Industri 4.0 mengedepankan efisiensi dalam pengolahan data dan informasi. Pendidik pun dihadapkan pada keharusan memahami dan menerapkan teknologi untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Namun, belum semua pendidik di Indonesia memiliki pemahaman teknologi yang memadai. Hal ini menyebabkan keterbatasan dalam pemrosesan data dan implementasi kebijakan pemerintah yang bergantung pada sistem terpusat. Pelatihan dasar teknologi, khususnya pemanfaatan Google Mail, Google Drive, dan Google Meet, menjadi solusi penting. Pelatihan ini memberikan pemahaman praktis kepada pendidik untuk mengatasi hambatan teknologi. Melalui pelatihan ini peserta akan mampu menggunakan teknologi ini secara optimal yang dapat mempercepat administrasi, mendorong kolaborasi, dan meningkatkan kemampuan dalam menghadapi tantangan Pendidikan sekarang ini. Hasil pelatihan ini meningkatkan kompetensi pendidik dalam teknologi, yang tidak hanya meningkatkan produktivitas, tetapi juga memungkinkan inovasi dalam pembelajaran. Khususnya dalam konteks HIMPAUDI, pendidik dapat mengintegrasikan teknologi untuk administrasi yang efisien dan peningkatan pengajaran. Pelatihan ini menjembatani kesenjangan teknologi, memungkinkan pendidik untuk beradaptasi dalam era yang terus berkembang.

Abstract

In the contemporary era, technological advancements have significantly impacted various aspects of human life, offering increased efficiency and convenience. Indonesia, aiming to enhance international competitiveness, recognizes the importance of integrating technological innovation across economic sectors. Despite its abundant natural resources, Indonesia's vital agricultural sector faces challenges, including the limited adoption of modern technology, resulting in suboptimal productivity. This study focuses on addressing these challenges by developing the MyHydro mobile application, utilizing IoT and Progressive Web App (PWA) technology to enable remote monitoring and control of hydroponic systems. The research methodology includes literature review, user requirement analysis, system design, and black-box testing. Results show that MyHydro successfully bridges the gap between traditional farming practices and modern technology. Users can efficiently monitor and control hydroponic systems, enhancing crop yields and promoting sustainability in Indonesian agriculture. In conclusion, MyHydro offers a valuable solution to modernize Indonesian farming, aligning with global trends in smart agriculture. It empowers farmers and contributes to the nation's agricultural growth.

Abstract

The research addresses the growing need for efficient management of marine tourism activities in Indonesia, explicitly diving, snorkeling, and fishing. With the rapid expansion of marine tourism, there is a pressing need for innovative solutions to streamline information dissemination and enhance tourist experiences. This study proposes the development of a database and information system utilizing the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology to cater to the diverse needs of tourists engaging in marine activities. The Rapid Application Development approach comprises requirement planning, user design, construction, and cutover phases. Oracle Apex serves as the primary instrument for database design and system development. The findings suggest that implementing digital innovation in the form of information systems and databases significantly enhances the tourist experience in marine tourism destinations. Integrating GIS technology enables the visualization of location maps and valuable information, enriching the user experience and facilitating informed decision-making processes. Test results indicate that the application functions optimally and can be utilized effectively for destination management in Indonesia, emphasizing the practical implications of digital innovation in the tourism sector. In conclusion, designing and implementing a database and information system for marine tourism activities offer substantial benefits for destination management and tourist experiences in Indonesia. This research underscores the importance of technological advancements in optimizing destination management and fostering sustainable tourism development in coastal regions.
