Abstract

The selection of the right procurement method is expected to achieve the success of a project, namely achieving the objectives of the project itself. Procurement or procurement of goods / services with the Design and Build method is new in Kediri Regency, this method has just been applied for the first time, namely in the Kediri Regency Stadium Development Project. This study aims to determine the obstacles experienced in the application of the Design and Build Method and determine improvements that can be made to improve the performance of the next Design and Build project implementation. The research method is descriptive quantitative. Data was collected from field data and questionnaires involving 27 respondents from the Owner, Contractor, Construction Management Consultant and Evaluation Team. The results of the questionnaire were then analyzed using mean calculations and Focus Group Discussions. The results of this study are obstacles in the implementation of the Design and Build Method on the Kediri Regency Stadium Development project, namely: from the aspect of regulation / regulation, aspects of client capability / ability, aspects of capability / ability of other stakeholders, aspects of adaptation. Improvements that can be made to the implementation of the Design and Build Method, namely: Each stakeholder must understand in detail the concept of the Design and Build Method in accordance with the rules. The details of the rules are more clarified so that the implementation of the design and build project does not cause different perceptions between stakeholders. Design and Build work requires careful planning and good collaboration from various parties.

Abstract

Along with urban growth, the increasing population has resulted in the need for housing also continuing to increase. The negative impact of urban infrastructure development in the form of housing, trade and services is increasingly reducing open areas that function as water absorption areas. The research object area is included in the Parung River Basin. The basic flow of this river comes from water sources in Banaran Village and Sumber Bulus in Tosaren Village with a catchment area of ​​the Parung River, amounting to 29.3 km2. The change in land that will be used for an office area is 5.8 Ha. The use of regional space is in accordance with the city spatial plan (RTRW 2011-2030 and 2024-2044) where one of them is the realization of an environmental center. And Singonegaran Village is included in the service, trade and service development environment area

Abstract

Indonesia yang terletak pada pertemuan tiga lempeng tektonik utama, yaitu Indo-Australia, Eurasia, dan Pasifik, memiliki potensi tinggi terhadap gempa bumi yang dapat menimbulkan ketidakstabilan pada struktur bangunan, terutama yang mengalami ketidakberaturan torsi akibat ketidaksejajaran antara pusat massa dan pusat kekakuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh perkuatan struktur gedung menggunakan rangka bracing konsentrik tipe X terhadap pengurangan eksentrisitas, simpangan antar lantai (story drift), serta gaya-gaya dalam pada elemen struktur. Metode penelitian dilakukan melalui pemodelan numerik menggunakan perangkat lunak ETABS dengan analisis respons spektrum sesuai SNI 1726:2019. Struktur yang dimodelkan terdiri dari tujuh lantai dengan lima bentang arah X dan Y, menggunakan variasi lima model, yaitu satu model eksisting dan empat model dengan konfigurasi bracing berbeda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penambahan rangka bracing konsentrik X mampu mengurangi nilai eksentrisitas antara pusat massa dan pusat kekakuan secara signifikan, menurunkan nilai story drift, serta memperkecil gaya-gaya dalam berupa momen lentur, gaya geser, dan gaya aksial pada elemen struktur. Model keempat menunjukkan kinerja paling optimal dengan distribusi simpangan yang lebih linear dan gaya dalam yang lebih kecil dibandingkan model lainnya. Kesimpulannya, penggunaan bracing konsentrik X secara tepat dapat meningkatkan kekakuan lateral, mengurangi ketidakberaturan torsi, serta menghasilkan desain struktur gedung yang lebih stabil dan efisien terhadap beban gempa.

Abstract

Substandard structural maintenance and natural disasters could impair the structure. However, numerous structures could still be utilized even though the safety level and load capacity diminished. Thus, the structure members needed to be strengthened. One of the most widely applied solutions was the use of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymeric (CFRP). CFRP was made from fiber and carbon that can increase the capacity of structure. Therefore, numerical simulation of T-beam strengthened with CFRP in flexural area was important. Because a good agreement results of numerical simulations compared with experimental could reduce cost where numerical simulations could be a tool to carry out further parameter studies without experimental testing. The purpose was to perform a numerical simulation validated by experimental testing from Mulyanto (2020). ABAQUS software was used for simulation. The idealized components included concrete beams, loads, and supports represented as 3D solid elements. The reinforcing steel was modeled as a truss element and conventional shell element was used for modeling CFRP. The model’s dimensions and loading were based on experimental. Factors such as the strength of reinforcing steel, the number of layers of composite layers, and the interaction between concrete and CFRP were utilized to align the experimental results. The results showed that the difference of yield and ultimate load between numerical simulation and the experimental was less than 5%. Therefore, the result of numerical simulation had a good agreement with the experimental.
