Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyse the ideal marriage age based on the Islamic family law philosophy perspective in Indonesia. In the context of Islamic family law, the age of marriage is not only seen from the biological aspect, but also from the physical, mental, and social readiness of the individuals involved. This study uses a qualitative method with a legal philosophy approach to explore the values contained in Islamic family law related to the age of marriage. The results of the study show that the ideal age to carry out marriage in Indonesia according to the perspective of Islamic family law philosophy is 21 years old, which is considered the right age to achieve emotional, physical, and mental maturity, so that it can form a family that is sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah. These findings can be considered in marriage legal policies in Indonesia that prioritise family welfare and social harmony. Keywords: Marital Age, Ideal, Islamic Family Law Philosophy, Indonesia, Legal Policy

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the inheritance of dzawil arham (distant relatives) in the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI) in Indonesia, which is identified as not regulated in existing regulations. Although KHI regulates the distribution of inheritance in detail for the closer heirs, the lack of clarity regarding inheritance rights for dzawil arham creates legal uncertainty in the implementation of inheritance distribution. This research aims to examine the importance of clearer arrangements regarding the inheritance rights of Dzawil Arham in KHI to provide legal certainty and justice for all related parties. Through a qualitative approach and normative analysis, it was found that more specific and detailed regulations regarding dzawil arham were needed so that the distribution of inheritance could be fairer and more equitable. This study recommends that KHI accommodate clearer rules related to the inheritance rights of dzawil arham, to ensure justice in the application of Islamic inheritance law in Indonesia. Keywords: Inheritance, Dzawil Arham, Compilation of Islamic Law, Distribution of Inheritance, Legal Certainty

Abstract

Abstract: The Islamic Religious Education curriculum has an important role in shaping the character and spiritual abilities of students in accordance with the demands of the competency-based curriculum. Objectives, content/materials, learning strategies, and evaluation are the main components of the Islamic Education curriculum. This study used a qualitative approach, using descriptive-analytical methods and document studies, to analyse the relationship and role of each component to ensure that educational goals are optimally achieved. The results showed that the four elements encourage each other and must be planned in an integrated manner so that PAI learning can run effectively, contextually, and in accordance with the times. The results of this study are expected to be the basis for developing a customised PAI curriculum that is able to form a competent and characterful Muslim generation. Keywords: Islamic Education Curriculum, Curriculum Components, Islamic Religious Education

Abstract

This study aims to identify, classify, and analyze various Islamic financing contracts, including traditional types and contemporary multi-contract structures, in response to evolving economic and financial technologies. Employing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and qualitative-descriptive method, the study examines literature from 2015 to 2025 sourced from major academic databases. Findings indicate that murabahah, ijarah, musyarakah, and mudharabah remain core instruments, while hybrid models such as IMBT and murabahah-wakalah are increasingly adopted to address complex financing needs. Supporting contracts, such as wakalah, kafalah, rahn, hiwalah, qardh, and wadiah, play a strategic role in ensuring legal compliance, operational efficiency, and financial inclusion. The study highlights the urgency of contract systematization to enhance the effectiveness, Sharia compliance, and innovation of Indonesia’s Islamic finance system. Keywords: Islamic contracts; Islamic financing; contract classification; Shariah-compliant finance; Islamic financial instruments

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the epistemological construction of Islamic education through the examination of the integration of revelation and reason in the formation of a holistic and contextual Muslim character. The research methodology uses a qualitative approach with library research that analyzes classical and contemporary literature on Islamic epistemology. Content analysis techniques with a hermeneutic approach are applied to interpret fundamental meanings in Islamic epistemological texts. The findings of the study reveal that the epistemology of Islamic education has distinctive characteristics that integrate revelation as a primary source of knowledge with reason as an instrument of interpretation within the framework of the monotheistic paradigm. This integration is realized through the harmonization of bayani (explanatory), burhani (demonstrative), and irfani (intuitive) methodologies that produce a comprehensive knowledge system. The implementation of Islamic epistemology in the formation of Muslim character shows significant relevance in facing the challenges of globalization and the digital era through the development of graduates who have intellectual competence, moral integrity, and balanced spirituality. This study concludes that the epistemology of Islamic education offers an alternative educational paradigm that is able to accommodate the advancement of science without sacrificing Islamic spiritual and ethical values.
