Abstract

The assessment of technology-based learning media is essential for effectively supporting learning activities. A thorough analysis of the quality of the assessment items included in the learning media is vital, as it ensures that each question accurately evaluates the cognitive abilities of students. This study utilizes the results of student answers, items of questions, and the answer keys to practice questions used in the interactive learning media Monsakun for arithmetic learning. This research used a quantitative descriptive method. The objective of this study is to analyze the distribution of cognitive domain aspects, the difficulty level of the questions, and the distinguishing power of the items that have been interpreted according to established criteria. The analysis results indicate that the questions formulated within the interactive learning media of Monsakun are well-structured, effectively integrating questions related to everyday life concepts. However, the proportion of questions in terms of cognitive capabilities implemented is too much to adopt higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) type questions without considering the proportion aspect of balance. Therefore, it is necessary to rearrange the items in the interactive learning media Monsakun to be able to measure the extent of learning outcomes.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a technology that can think like humans that is run by robots that are not natural from humans themselves. One of the increasingly popular applications of AI technology is chatbots, which are computer programs designed to communicate with humans naturally and responsively. In the context of vocational education, especially in vocational schools majoring in Computer Engineering and Networks, programming logic skills are one of the competencies that students must have. Various studies show that many vocational school students have difficulty understanding the concept of programming logic. This satisfaction is often caused by the limited innovative learning media that can explain concepts in an adaptive way according to student needs. Therefore, this study aims to highlight the extent to which the use of AI-based chatbots can participate in improving the programming logic skills of 12th grade vocational school students majoring in TKJ. The use of AI chatbots as interactive learning media has proven effective in improving the programming logic skills of 12th grade vocational school students majoring in TKJ.

Abstract

Education is a crucial aspect of life. The progress of a nation can often be measured by the quality of education implemented within it. In today's era, education has undergone remarkable transformations. However, in the context of the modern world, educational services face increasingly complex challenges. These challenges include demands for greater efficiency, accessibility for diverse groups, and alignment with technological advancements and current needs. Pondok Pesantren Riyadhus Sholihin also faces challenges in its educational services due to the continued use of manual systems. Issues include manual recording of student assessments without long-term secure storage solutions, difficulties for teachers in setting class schedules, and a manual reporting system, making data access inconvenient and inefficient. To address these challenges, digital transformation is essential, particularly through the development of an e-academic system Information. This study employs the R&D (Research and Development) methodology with stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate. Additionally, system development adopts the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) model. E-Academic applications are built using the PHP and MySql programming languages The study results show that the developed e-academic system effectively addresses these challenges. It enables real-time access to student grades and reports, provides secure data storage, simplifies teachers' tasks in setting class schedules, and delivers various other benefits, making the system efficient and effective for Pondok Pesantren Riyadhus Sholihin.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a correlation between students' vocabulary mastery and reading comprehension at SMK Bina Profesi Pekanbaru. The population of this study was a total population of 128 students. The sample was taken using a simple random sampling process. This study employed quantitative methodologies. Through the utilization of Vocabulary Test and Reading Comprehension Test. The study employed the Pearson product-moment coefficient calculation in SPSS to evaluate the correlation between students' vocabulary mastery and reading comprehension. The analysis results show that there is significant correlation between vocabulary mastery and reading comprehension. This can be seen from the significance value of the data which is 0.001 < 0.05. The Pearson correlation value is 0.563, which indicatels that thel lelvell olf colrrellatioln is grelatelr and thel direlctioln is polsitivel, which means H0 is rejected and the researcher assumption (Ha) is accepted. It can be concluded that the significant relationship between Vocabulary Mastery and Reading Comprehesion.

Abstract

This research aims to develop innovative, interactive learning media based on advanced Augmented Reality (AR) technology to help students understand the concept of the solar system in depth and comprehensively. Using the ADDIE research method, this application was designed with Unity 3D and Vuforia, utilizing flash cards as markers to display 3D objects realistically, dynamically and in detail. This application has proven effective in increasing the attractiveness of learning, maximizing students' understanding of complex material, and providing a more interesting, deep, immersive and interactive learning experience. With the Android platform, this application is a modern learning innovation that is easy to access, flexible, relevant to the needs of the digital era, and has great potential to be applied more widely in various subjects and other concepts, thereby supporting the improvement of the overall quality of education.

Abstract

The cooperative learning model requires students to be active and discuss, such as the jigsaw and group resume types which both require students to be active in learning. The purpose of this study was to compare the jigsaw type learning method with the group resume in the student development course, in order to see the level of student activity. This study used a comparative descriptive method. The population was all students who took the student development course. The results showed that the activity value in the group resume reached a maximum of 75% and a minimum of 65%, this is because not all students are active in contributing to learning. In the jigsaw type, the maximum activity value was obtained at 76% and a minimum of 68% because students do have a role to be active in every learning process. The student activities observed were viewing activities, listening activities, speaking activities and writing activities with an increase in the values ​​obtained by students. So it can be concluded that the jigsaw model produces more active students.
