Abstract

This thesis discusses the low emotional intelligence of students. Emotional intelligence is a person's ability to recognize, manage emotions, motivate himself, empathize, and have good interpersonal relationships with others. The low emotional intelligence of students is due to the fact that there are still students who make turmoil in the classroom, students who fight, students that speak rude, and friends who insult each other. The study aims to determine the level of emotional intelligence related to the moral behavior of SMK Muhammadiyah students in Pekanbaru City. As for the sample in this study, there were 153 students. The method used in this study is quantitative correlation to look at the relationship between emotional intelligence and moral behavior. Data analysis techniques using Pearson Product Moment correlation testing with the help of IBM SPSS for Windows Ver.26. The results of the hypothesis test obtained the value of the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.603 and the determinant factor value resulted in 36.3%. Based on the result of the test of the hypothetics received there is a significant positive relationship between emotional intelligence to the moral behavior of students of class X TKJ SMK Muhammadiyah in Pekanbaru City which means that emotional Intelligence has an influence of 36.3% on moral behaviour.

Abstract

Student work readiness is a condition that must be prepared by students and universities before students complete their studies. So that after graduation they will work and can create their own jobs in a relatively short time. The lack of work readiness of students is due to the Introduction of the School Field has not been applied optimally due to the lack of skills and strong mentality when dealing with students, lack of personality as a prospective educator, and lack of opportunities to explore with the knowledge provided by field supervisors and lecturers. This study aims to examine and describe the work readiness of students after implementing the Introduction to the School Field (PLP). This research is a quantitative study with a population of 2019 Faculty of Teacher Training and Education students. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling with 92 student respondents. The results of this study indicate that the work readiness of FETT students at Muhammadiyah Riau University is influenced by the Introduction of the School Field, this can be proven by the R - Square value of 0.638 (64%).

Abstract

Di tengah era digital, pentingnya pendidikan yang dapat mempersiapkan generasi muda untuk tantangan global sangat nyata, terutama dalam konteks pengembangan potensi individu. Banyak siswa yang kurang mendapatkan bimbingan yang tepat, sehingga kemampuan mereka tidak termanfaatkan secara maksimal. Optimalisasi bakat dan minat siswa berbasis sistem pakar di SMPN 16 Pekanbaru bertujuan untuk mengatasi kesenjangan dalam identifikasi dan pengembangan bakat siswa. Dengan menerapkan sistem pakar berbasis Artificial Intelligence (AI), kegiatan ini menawarkan solusi inovatif untuk mendeteksi dan mengarahkan bakat serta minat siswa secara lebih objektif. Kegiatan mencakup seminar edukasi yang mengenalkan konsep bakat dan minat, serta pelatihan praktis dalam penggunaan sistem pakar. Evaluasi efektivitas program menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta sebesar 77.5%, dengan analisis t-test yang mengindikasikan dampak positif yang signifikan. Temuan ini mempertegas bahwa integrasi teknologi dalam pendidikan sangat penting untuk mendukung pengembangan bakat siswa, sehingga mereka dapat menjadi individu yang lebih percaya diri dan berdaya saing tinggi di masyarakat global.

Abstract

The role of the Computer Network Engineering MGMP forum could have been more optimal in developing professional competence. If one pays attention to the usefulness of this forum, it is essential to support the improvement and development of the professional competence of SMK Computer Network Engineering teachers. This research aims to develop a Knowledge Management System-Based Training Model to improve the professional competence of vocational teachers. This research is research and development. This study uses the ADDIE development procedure. The subjects of this study were 35 teachers at SMK Computer Network Engineering Skills. The methods used to collect data are interviews and questionnaires. The data collection instrument uses a questionnaire sheet. The data analysis technique for this research is descriptive statistics. The results of this study, namely the needs analysis, show the level of need for this training model is 83.65%. The syntax of this model is an introduction, demonstration, discussion, B-KMS training, and evaluation. Products consisting of training models in book form; implementation of activity in the form of a guidebook; training materials in book form; use of applications in the form of books for admins and users; knowledge management system application. The study results show that this training model is valid, practical, effective and appropriate for use to improve teachers' professional competence.

Abstract

This research aims to develop innovative, interactive learning media based on advanced Augmented Reality (AR) technology to help students understand the concept of the solar system in depth and comprehensively. Using the ADDIE research method, this application was designed with Unity 3D and Vuforia, utilizing flash cards as markers to display 3D objects realistically, dynamically and in detail. This application has proven effective in increasing the attractiveness of learning, maximizing students' understanding of complex material, and providing a more interesting, deep, immersive and interactive learning experience. With the Android platform, this application is a modern learning innovation that is easy to access, flexible, relevant to the needs of the digital era, and has great potential to be applied more widely in various subjects and other concepts, thereby supporting the improvement of the overall quality of education.

Abstract

Kecerdasan Artifisial Generatif (Generative Artificial Intelligence/GenAI) merupakan salah satu inovasi teknologi yang berkembang pesat dan memiliki dampak luas di berbagai sektor, termasuk pendidikan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengenalan dan edukasi mengenai konsep dasar, manfaat, serta tantangan etis dari GenAI kepada siswa Sekolah Al-Amin Terengganu, Malaysia. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyampaian materi interaktif, demonstrasi langsung penggunaan aplikasi GenAI seperti ChatGPT dan DALL·E, serta pelaksanaan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan siswa, dengan rata-rata nilai post-test meningkat sebesar 34,5 poin dibandingkan pre-test. Siswa juga menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dalam mencoba berbagai aplikasi AI dan mampu mengidentifikasi peluang serta risiko penggunaannya secara kritis. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa literasi AI dapat ditanamkan secara efektif sejak usia sekolah melalui pendekatan edukatif yang partisipatif dan kontekstual. Diharapkan kegiatan ini menjadi langkah awal dalam membentuk generasi yang siap menghadapi tantangan era digital dengan pemahaman teknologi yang mendalam dan etis.

Abstract

In today's digital era, information technology is developing rapidly. This technological development requires all lines of life to adapt to the use and utilization of information and communication technology, including the MSME sector (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises). The success rate of adapting to the MSME sector greatly influences the success of MSME in dominating the market and reaching consumers according to the MSME target, where sales volume is also heavily influenced by digital marketing strategies. Digital marketing has a big role for MSMEs in providing information, facilitating direct interaction with consumers, and expanding market reach both nationally and internationally so that MSME sales can increase. However, in reality there are still many MSMEs who do not understand digital marketing, especially MSMEs in Kamang Magek District. The problems that occur at this time include marketing problems and determining the selling price, MSME actors and farmer group businesses do not have a good market so many of them sell their products and business results to middlemen or collectors where the selling price is often not proportional to the price of production, many MSME actors who are not independent and depend on middlemen or collectors to sell their products or business results. This Community Service aims to provide knowledge and understanding to MSME actors regarding the importance of digital marketing for marketing their businesses by utilizing social media. The methods of community service activities are lectures, discussions and direct training for MSME actors

Abstract

Panggil Guru (PAGU) merupakan salah satu lembaga bimbingan beljar yang terdapat di Kota Pekanbaru yang melayani jasa belajar privat dan kelompok yang masih menerapkan sistem manajemen operasional dan pembelajaran yang bersifat konvensional. Mulai dari kegiatan pendaftaran, penjadwalan, pembayaran dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran serta penilaian hasil belajar bersifat konvensional tanpa memiliki sistem yang terpadu dan berbasis teknologi informasi. Penerapan sistem ini memberikan dampak terhadap tingginya biaya operasional yang diperlukan dan rendahnya minat peserta didik untuk belajar bersama PAGU. Selain pendampingan pengembangan sistem, kegiatan kemitraan ini juga bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi tutor di PAGU dalam mengembangkan materi pelajaran berbasis teknologi informasi dan meningkatkan kemampuan operasional administrator di PAGU untuk mengelola sistem terintegrasi berbasis teknologi informasi yang telah dikembangkan melaui pelatihan. Adapun target luaran yang ingin dicapai melalui kegiatan kemitraan ini adalah peningkatan pemberdayaan mitra dalam bidang manajemen, publikasi pada media massa cetak, dan dokumentasi program kemitraan yang dirangkum dalam bentuk video pelaksanaan kegiatan serta media promosi UMRI. Program kemitraan yang diusulkan terbagi atas 5 (lima) tahapan yaitu menjalin kerjasama, analisis kebutuhan dan perancangan, pengembangan sistem manajemen terintegerasi, pelatihan peningkatan kompetensi serta kegiatan evaluasi dan monitoring pelaksanaan progam kemitraan.

Abstract

Pandemi covid 19 membuat banyak perubahan di berbagai bidang kehidupan manusia, termasuk dalam dunia pendidikan. Pemerintah sudah mengizinkan kegiatan belajar tatap muka untuk sekolah-sekolah yang berada di zona hijau dan kuning, dengan serangkaian langkah-langkah persiapan dan protokol kesehatan yang ketat. SD Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru yang coba mengimplementasikan kebijakan pembelajaran model hybrid learning yang dikombinasi dengan model pembelajaran project based learning (PjBL). Keterbatasan guru dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran untuk mendukung pembelajaran project based learning (PjBL) menimbulkan sebuah permasalahan.Untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut maka dilakukan pelatihan pengembangan media pembelajaran berbentuk e-modul. Metode kegiatan dilakukan dengan cara observasi, pelatihan pengembangan media pembelajaran dengan pendekatan focus group discussion (FGD), dan melakukan evaluasi dalam bentuk pretest dan postest pada peserta pelatihan. Dari hasil evaluasi dan monitoring terlihat peningkatan kopetensi pedagogic dan professional peserta sebesar 77.15%.
