Abstract

In this review, we would like to present some of the most interesting modern designs of walking robots: bipedal, quadropedal, hexopedal, and octopods. Their advantages and disadvantages are highlighted. It has been determined that structures with eight or more limbs are ineffective due to high level of electricity consumption. The use of more than six number of legs does not give noticeable advantages in profile cross-country ability or maneuverability, however, it allows to reduce the forces and moments of inertia forces due to decrease in mode coefficient (ratio of time spent by propulsor in support to time of entire step), and, consequently, smoother leg movements in swing phase.

Abstract

Problems with a shortage of electricity often occur, especially in a rural area, which makes it difficult to do daily work and makes it difficult to communicate with outsiders. Problems with a shortage of electricity can affect the daily activities of residents, especially in rural areas, and can pose risks in the event of emergencies such as illnesses that require mechanical treatment. If this problem persists it could be detrimental to the population who do not have electricity. Electricity is very important as it can make it easier for people to do the work and for the people in the interior to get information. Problems with a shortage of electricity can affect communication networks such as the internet, radio waves, mobile phone lines and so on. In the current state of technology development, the creation of technologies that can solve this problem must be done and referred to as Solar Energy. It is an IoT research that absorbs energy from the sun to produce electricity in every home. The movement of this research can be controlled manually by using a mobile phone connected to the internet and also controlled automatically by the direction of sunlight. With this, updates from users are a must. This meets the user's need for a device that can be used continuously.

Abstract

This study aims to overcome what is experienced by blind children and to invite blind children to take part in playing and not forgetting to put forward special design aesthetics for blind children. The results found result from primary data collection from observations of the daily activities of the subject and interviews with the subject, teacher, and subject's parents and secondary data got from literacy results from related research sources. The research subjects were taken from students of SDLB-A YPAB SURABAYA. The research method used is design thinking by approaching the subject. In the ultimate result, an innovative traditional snake and ladder game was found which was changed in such a way as to be accessible so that it was more friendly for blind children to use.

Abstract

Theft cases often go unnoticed and are everywhere we are. It can happen in public, at school, at work or even in your own home. Things like this often happen to teens and older adults. Some of them do not have a safe place to store their valuables because of their carelessness. This is because they do not take this seriously. On the other hand, they already have their own safety box which is a great example of keeping items from being stolen or robbed. With the Internet of Things (IoT), this safety box can be improved by adding features that make it even safer to receive notifications on a mobile phone when the safety box is opened. With these improvements, property owners will become more aware of their goods because not everyone around us can be trusted. The use of these notifications is an update that will be created to improve the security of your goods. The methodology used to carry out this project is called Prototyping Method. In this way, prototype can be said to be both a design and an example of an existing system, but not yet fully functional. Prototypes will outline how a system works, and most prototype systems are not yet the perfect system to run.

Abstract

In The work considers 11 types of gears, features of their design and application. Analysis of gears designs is carried out, since shape of teeth directly affects process of teeth gearing, and this, in turn, affects load, which causes deformation of elements. 3D model of spur gear was created in ANSYS system. The work was limited by analyzing problem from point of view of gear wheels’ deformation, which were made of 40L carbon steel and carbon composite material. As a result, finite element modeling and analysis of gears using ANSYS system was carried out.
