Abstract

One of the physical limitations that exist in humans is blindness. Because it is difficult to see, they need tools to help them carry out their daily activities. A tool is needed to help guide them in walking activities. A walking guide tool for blind people based on fuzzy logic is one solution to help them in walking activities. By using a microcontroller as a controller of the ultrasonic sensor, buzzer, DC motor, and water sensor. The ultrasonic sensor is used to read the objects in front of the tool and provide this information to the microcontroller. The data sent by the sensor to the microcontroller will be processed and send sound information (buzzer) and vibrations (DC motor) when the ultrasonic sensor detects an object with a predetermined distance to the visual impaired. This guide tool for visually impaired persons uses fuzzy logic as a control system, by applying the fuzzy logic method to the blind aids to be able to provide logic output to the objects it detects at a predetermined distance range. Based on the results of research, a guide tool for blind people with fuzzy logic for the success rate in detecting objects on sensor 1 is 96.82%, while the success rate for sensor 2 is 97.97%. Abstract

This assessment was driven by joining cryptography and steganography for receiving secret messages. Cryptography is used to scramble confined data or messages, then, at that point, the Steganography cycle is finished by covering messages that have been encoded into video media so confidential data or messages are more guaranteed. RSA is the procedure picked in this audit, RSA is one of the public key estimations whose strength lies in the surprising cycle and taking into account numbers into two resolute numbers and RSA-CRT is set to augment working time capability got together with the Steganography system, where messages are implanted into parts of 7 on the pixel data that shapes the image record sequentially. The usage of a mix of the two procedures can fabricate the security of the message to be installed and delivered off the recipient of the secret message. This study plans to grow the security of the text by inserting text into the video, then, scramble the text so the text ought not be apparent.

Abstract

One of the community democratization parties is the election of the village head, the election of the village head is carried out at the village level directly to determine the village leader or village head. Decision support system is an interactive alternative system that can assist in decision making through the use of data and decision models to solve semi-structured and unstructured problems. This system was built by applying the MOORA (Multi-Objective Optimization on the basis of Ratio Analysis) method where the basic concept of the MOORA method is to find the weighted sum of the performance ratings for each alternative on all attributes. In the calculation of the MOORA method, only the one that produces the largest value will be selected as the best alternative. Calculations will be in accordance with this method if the selected alternative meets the predetermined criteria. By using a decision support system for the selection of village head candidates using the Multi-Objective Optimization on the basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method, it helps community members to find out the ranking of village head candidates from the results of the weighted criteria that have been determined, thus providing additional information when making decisions. determine choices in the democratic party of the citizens of the village of Sitnggaling.

Abstract

Higher education institutions, especially private-level universities, offer many scholarships to prospective students. Scholarships are sourced from universities, and the requirements for obtaining scholarships for prospective students will be selected and meet the specified requirements, for example, the hafiz/hafidzah must meet one of the requirements of having a certificate or certificate of hafiz/hafidzah . The scholarship program aims to realize the expectations of the underprivileged and have good academic potential in pursuing higher education. This study examines the comparison of TOPSIS and VIKTOR methods in the selection of scholarships at Aisyah University. The TOPSIS method has a simple and easy-to-understand concept, besides that the TOPSIS method can measure the relative performance of decision alternatives in a simple mathematical form. The Vise Kriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje (Vikor) method makes multi-criteria decisions or what is often known as Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM). MCDM is used to solve problems based on conflicting and disproportionate criteria. The TOPSIS method has the highest accuracy rate of 80% in 12 trials, while the VIKOR method only has the highest accuracy rate of 60%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the TOPSIS method can be used to select outstanding student scholarships for the underprivileged at Aisyah University

Abstract

The government assistance program is one of the efforts to promote community welfare, as is the case with the Raskin assistance program. In the contribution of aid from the center to the regions, of course, many things are of concern, namely the equitable distribution and correct targeting of the rightful recipients. In reality, there are problems in determining the recipients of Raskin assistance due to the indication of an element of subjectivity in making decisions and the mismatch between candidate data and recipients due to not taking into account the assessment criteria in determining the selected candidates for assistance. This study proposes an evaluation of the selection process for Raskin beneficiaries with four criteria, namely Income (C1), Marital Status (C2), Dependent of Children (C3), and Age (C4). The method combines the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method in determining the nature of the criteria to calculate the final score and the Linear Interpolation technique for the scoring process to determine the difference in numerical values. The study results are seven alternative recipients of assistance selected into three selected alternatives. The analysis of the influential criteria shows that the Dependent of Children (C3) and Age (C4) criteria affect the final ranking of the alternative recipients of Raskin assistance.

Abstract

Sorting is a stage carried out by fish farmers during the harvesting process. So it is a tool that can help farmers do sorting during the harvest process. Automatic fish sorting tool with Sugeno Fuzzy logic based on a microcontroller is one solution to assist farmers in sorting. With this system we can reduce errors that often occur in the manual sorting process. The main cause of the manual sorting process is that many fish do not match market needs. This system is only used for the process of harvesting catfish for consumption. There are three classifications of weight categories on these tools including small, adequate and large, in the range of values 0-120g, moderately in the range of values of 121-200g and large in the range of values of 201-1000g. This study uses the Sugeno Fuzzy logic method because this method is suitable for use in most real-time problems such as making decisions to find things that are volatile and less certain. In this system there is a microcontroller that has been implanted with Sugeno Fuzzy logic. The sorting process is carried out using a Load Cell sensor as a fish weight counter and assisted by servo movement and the sorting results will be displayed on a 4x20 LCD.

Abstract

Indonesia is a democratic country for General Elections (Election) which are carried out directly, freely, confidentially, honestly, and fairly. Several stages of the election, among others, begin with compiling a permanent voter list (DPT), determination of polling stations (TPS), and recapitulating election results. Various factors, including the demographic factor, can affect citizen participation in the general election. Demographic data covers Energy, Geographic, Education, Health, Population, Economy, Communication, and Transportation factors. This study tries to combine election data with demographic data taken from the official website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Mojokerto Regency and data on the results of the 2019 Election calculations taken from the official website of the General Election Commission (KPU) of Mojokerto Regency. Preprocessing steps are data cleaning, data integration, and correlation attributes for a more optimal presentation of the dataset and the distribution of four split datasets (training data and testing data) to find the best results. Implementation of classification method with Logistic Regression (LR) algorithm to predict community participation at the TPS level. From the test results of four split datasets, the highest predictive value was 64.80% in composition 3 with a ratio of 80:20, where 127 data were labeled low, and 291 data were labeled high.

Abstract

Cancellation of bookings puts considerable pressure on management decisions, in this case from the hospitality industry. Cancellation of bookings limits the correct prediction and is, therefore, a very important tool for revenue management performance. However, in recent times, thanks to the availability of considerable computing power through machine learning approaches, it has become possible to create more accurate models for predicting booking cancellations compared to using more traditional methods. Previous research has used several machine learning approaches, such as Decision Tree, Support Vector Machine, Deep Neural Network, Logistic Regression, and Random Forest to predict hotel cancellations. However, they have not addressed the class imbalance problem that exists in predicting hotel cancellations. In this study, we have provided a solution by introducing an oversampling technique to solve the class imbalance problem, together with the k-nearest neighbors algorithm to predict hotel booking cancellations better. The results of this study show that an increase in the performance of the method's accuracy increased by 3.88%, precision increased by 9.00%, recall increased by 10.00%, and F1-Score increased by 10.00% in the hotel booking dataset. It can be concluded that the SMOTE method with KNN has a better performance than only using the KNN method in predicting the cancellation of hotel reservations.
