Abstract

PT Tempuran Mas is a company engaged in the service pack fairies. The company is based in Jakarta and Ambon is one of the branches. PT Tempuran Mas Ambon already have enough customers so that they also use the services of quite a lot. The purpose of this study was to determine the number of forklift needs in the process of unloading containers at the stacking of containers, so as to move containers quickly and safely to reduce the operation time. Workload for each day in a row is 40.33; 89.98: 20.94: 86.8: 66.74: 85.54, and 51.55 minutes / hour. This value indicates that the forklift business days 2, 4, 5, and 6 have large workloads that need attention to avoid poor performance in the removal of container stacking containers. Of research results and calculations show that the number of forklifts to be obtained every working day is different and not in accordance with the conditions existing in the company .. F-1 working day, weekdays F-3 and F-7 working days requires a forklift unit, while the F-2 work days, days kerja4 F-, F-5 working days, working days and the F-6 requires two units of forklifts . So that the necessary addition of 1 unit forklift again.

Abstract

Transportation of connective crossing of Ceram Island and Island Ambon during the time only reliing on one line in Waipirit-Hunimua. Though, since 2003, Ceram Island as part of Central Moluccas region have been bloomed to become 3 Sub-Province, namely Central Moluccas (mains), West Ceram and East Ceram, so that mobility and accesibility at this region mount fast enough, including exploiting (supply) line of Waipirit-Hunimua. If this condition (transportation systems) remain to be defended, hence will happened demand over, which supply cannot make balance to demand. By him, require to analyse to possibility of development of crossing transportation systems by considering potency area demand of payload. This research study location alternative development of port of crossing of Ceram Island to Hunimua, analysing operational pattern and of desain conceptual of port, and also analysis competent of its development economically Result of research conclude that port of Ina-Marina in Masohi can be selected alternatively crossing transportation of Ceram Island (Masohi) to Island of Ambon (Hunimua), where proposed to operational pattern consist of (a) ship type of ro-ro; (b) speed of operational 9 knot; (c) ship frequency 2 trip / day; (d) time go through 4 hours; (e) the amount of armada 1 unit; (f) the amount of dock 1; and (g) distance of 35 mile. While conceptual desain of developed to port consist of territorial water room facility, terminal building facility for the width of 160 m2 and areal park for the width of 319 m2. For economic analysis, NPV 21.400.058.515,53.-; BCR 1,5238; and tired BEP in the year third, so that decision to develop this competent alternative economically.

Abstract

This research studies atmosphere capacities influence in combustion chamber ( selinder) as diesel fuel fuel mixture to Diesel engine performance. To know atmosphere capacities entering into combustion chamber is applied by measuring instrument orifice is having diameter 75,10, 125, 15,20 mm at revolution 1296 rpm constant. Atmosphere outside combustion chamber admission through orifice attached at relocation box wall of atmosphere, then this atmosphere packed into combustion chamber through induction valve by piston impulse with constant speed. From result of assaying indicates that Ever greater of atmosphere capacities, increasingly boosts up Volumetric efficiency but not forever boosts up Efisiensi thermal, Because at certain atmosphere capacities of its(the thermal efficiency declines. By using orifice is having diameter 10 mm to boost up engine performance , atmosphere capacities, Volumetric efficiency and boosts up Efisiensi thermal.

Abstract

International qualification standard owned by ERP system places company in a potential global competitive network to get a highly benefit for their business. However, considering a large amount of fund needed to its investment the failures during acquisition process until its utilization routinely cause fatal impact to the system. This research aims to analize the influence of variables to ERP system implementation success on company. The organizational characteristics based on literature studies tends to effect the level of ERP system implementation success both as a pure influence and strengthened by moderator variables, organizational factors, namely IT asset and IT resource. The results of research on 41 ERP users companies present the relation between characteristics of organization size, centralization, organizational behavior orientation to collaboration, and IT and business short range aligment as factors that have a relevant influence to ERP system implementation success.

Abstract

Manual Material Handling (MMH) is a material removal activitiey that performed manually. MMH has a high flexibility in handling the load - a light load if compared by using material handling equipment. However, MMH can cause injury identified in skeletal muscle (musculoskeletal disorders). To minimize the occurrence of injury in skeletal muscle, the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) recommends the imposition of an equation that is the Recommended Weight Limit. This equation is based on the data taken from American women workers in its use in Indonesia, the adjustment shall be made as there are differences in anthropometry, psychophysical and physiological differences between Indonesian and American. The purpose of this study was to determine the maximum load limit based on the anthropometry of Indonesian women workers. The approach used to determine the maximum load limits in this study is the physiological approach. Physiologically energy consumption based on the heart rate produced higher 56% -70% when compared to energy consumption based on NIOSH recommendations. This is because of the differences in anthropometric and age.

Abstract

To support production process keep going from engine stuck, we have to devise a maintenance action or replacement of a damaged engine coolant (cold storage). If the maintenance alternatively exist longer, it will increase prevented-maintenance cost. So need to find an interval of maintenance and repair to minimize total cost of maintenance and repair by using reliability analyse. In determining interval time of optimum maintenance and repair to critical spare part , reliability analyse is applied against those components by using available downtime data as a premise to find the time of optimum maintenance and repair. The calculation result of reliability value against the critical components, are expected as input to devise strategy of maintenance and repair optimizely. Optimum determining interval time of maintenance and repair optimizely in this research recommended each components reliability index 0.1 with the interval time of maintenance and repair component Exhaust valve compressor & Intake valve compressor are on the day 450th, Expansion valve component is on the day 630thand Ring set compressor component is on the day 1170thwith time interval one year are optimum policy.

Abstract

The design tolerance as one of the characteristics of quality is a critical stage in the design process and product. Reflects the absence of economies of size tolerance manufacturing process. Performance of the production process can be measured by indices of process capability. This study aims to redesign the new specification limits (tolerance) diameter core (core) products based on the ability of the clamp Shoulder-owned company, Tolerance and Tolerance Standard Casting. The analysis show that the casting process is currently capable of producing the products according to specifications defined by the index Cp = 0.65; Cpk = 0.50; CR = 1.55 and Cpm = 0:59. Based on the performance of the casting process is proposed an alternative six shoulder clamp diameter tolerance are 23:50 +- 0.80 mm, 0.82 mm +- 23:50, 23:50 +- 23:50 +- 1:20 mm 1:26 mm, 1.70 mm +- 23:50 and 23:50 +- 2:40 mm

Abstract

Advance in technology, especially computer information technology, encouraging the emergence of new innovations in the presentation of information to meet information needs. As a tool, the computer also has advantages, including speed, accuracy, and efficiency in data processing when compared with manual processing. The computer also penetrated the world of trade and creating fierce competition among merchants. Similarly, Jaya Ribo store which is a trading business buying and selling clothes, being able to provide precise and accurate information in conducting transactions. System running in the store Ribo Jaya is still done manually recording transactions such as purchases, sales transaction records, the search for the goods, the calculation of stock, and making reports which require considerable time and risk of human error is quite great. Based on the research and testing program carried out, there efficiency / reduction in time 63% of the overall average of 10 kinds of stuff manually where it takes 22:27 minutes using a 8:09-minute program and reduce the error rate because the calculations have been done automatically by the program . From the overall results of the study, for saving time and operational costs should trade business form Ribo Jaya using store sales information systems program in the sales transaction.

Abstract

In the world of work relations with the Workers Employers greatly affect the appearance or not the dispute in the industrial relations. A dispute within the industrial relations exists in every country in the world including Indonesia. Labor issues, including one of the major problems in all the developed and developing countries. To set up industrial dispute settlement then comes the various regulations relating to the rights and obligations of workers and employers. In Indonesia, regulations governing the rights and obligations of workers and employers, including dispute resolution procedures in industrial relations is through Act Number 13 of 2003 on Labor, and Law Number 2 of 2004 concerning Industrial Relations Disputes Settlement (PPHI).

Abstract

An internal-combustion engine is the name given to a reciprocating heat engine in which the fuel is burned directly inside a working cylinder. The mixture of gases produced upon the combustion of the fuel in the cylinder of the engine forms the working substance which presses against the piston and does work. The entire working cycle of a four-stroke engine is completed during four strokes of the piston or two revolutions of the crankshaft, with only one stroke of the piston being a working one. The shaft rotates during the other strokes at the expense of the work performed in other cylinders or of the reserve energy stored by the flywheel during the power stroke of the piston. The pressure and temperature at the principal points that characterize the working cycle of a diesel engine can be determined from formulas of thermodynamics with account taken of the thermochemical processes that take place in the engine. The result of determine the parameter is the pressure and temperature at the beginning of compression, pa= 0,90 kg/cm2and Ta= 310 K, pressure and temperature at the end of kompression, pc= 40,1 kg/cm2 and Tc= 812,3 K, and pressure and temperatuer at the end of combustion, pz=72,18 kg/cm2and Tz= 1984,12 K and pressure and temperature at the end of expansion, pb= 3,454 kg/cm2and Tb= 1135,5 K.
