Abstract

Management Information System is a comprehensive, coordinated and rationally integrated set of information subsystems capable of transforming data into information through a series of ways to increase productivity in accordance with the style and nature of managers on the basis of established data quality criteria. Technological developments require every institution, both government and private, to provide services to be able to serve effectively and efficiently. Management is defined as a typical process consisting of planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring carried out to determine and attempt to achieve goals by utilizing human resources and other resources. In the work process of Victory Sorong University, the General Administration Bureau (ADUM) carries out administrative management processes still manually, this can be seen from the survey results that the data management process is carried out in manual books. This is a major issue that needs attention. Manual conditions can support data loss due to several factors. The importance of the role and function of general administration management as the main task of a government agency, private or organization, so it is necessary to implement an integrated information system using PHP and MySQL database.

Abstract

To support production process keep going from engine stuck, we have to devise a maintenance action or replacement of a damaged engine coolant (cold storage). If the maintenance alternatively exist longer, it will increase prevented-maintenance cost. So need to find an interval of maintenance and repair to minimize total cost of maintenance and repair by using reliability analyse. In determining interval time of optimum maintenance and repair to critical spare part , reliability analyse is applied against those components by using available downtime data as a premise to find the time of optimum maintenance and repair. The calculation result of reliability value against the critical components, are expected as input to devise strategy of maintenance and repair optimizely. Optimum determining interval time of maintenance and repair optimizely in this research recommended each components reliability index 0.1 with the interval time of maintenance and repair component Exhaust valve compressor & Intake valve compressor are on the day 450th, Expansion valve component is on the day 630thand Ring set compressor component is on the day 1170thwith time interval one year are optimum policy.

Abstract

English as a compulsory subject at school, is often a scourge for students. This has become a common conflict that occurs in schools. In this case, the work of the teacher is urgently needed to convey learning in a needs-based manner. Teachers do not only design lessons according to lesson plans, but they also need to be able to design lessons creatively to foster positive habits that directly improve learners' English skills. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of learning English using two-dimensional animation media, especially folklore from the Papua region, one of which is from Tambrauw Regency. The design of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The sample of this research is 25 students of 1st Semester English Education Study Program at Universitas Victory Sorong who learn in English Club. The results of the research showed that: (1) Based on observations, students will become more interested and confident in speaking English. (2) Based on the test, there is a very large change in the positive direction compared to a very good value of 36% in cycle 1, but in cycle 2 it is 84%, an increase of 48%. This folklore-based animated video worked well and met the needs of students in the first semester of the English Club.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of using the Dikti Edu Tablet on student achievement in the Computer Assisted Language Learning Class. Through this research, of course, researchers can find out the relationship between the independent variable, namely the use of Dikti Edu tablets, and the dependent variable, namely achievement. The research method is a quantitative research model using a survey in the form of distributing questionnaires to 20 students of the English Education Program. After collecting data, the data were analyzed quantitatively through SPSS 22 and the statements in the study used a Likert scale of 1-4. Based on the research that has been done, it is found that there is an increase in the learning achievement of English Education students at Victory Sorong University. This is evidenced by the value of the relationship between Edu Dikti Tablets and Student Achievement in English Language Education is 56%, while achievement is 44% which may be influenced by other factors not examined in this study. With the Edu Dikti Tablet, students are able to learn independently, creatively and innovatively so that they become educators who are ready to compete in the community

Abstract

Haria village is an area that is easy to reach. By using fast sea transportation such as speed boats, tourists can arrive and enjoy the beauty of Batu Pintu, Haria Village. On the way, tourists can also enjoy the enchanting beauty of the Maluku sea. The development of the quality of the Batu Pintu tourist attraction in Haria Village is something that must be done because it has so many benefits. This description of science and technology is named Big Light, where the PKM Team wants to provide greater light for the tourist attractions in question and provide greater quality improvement of tourism services. Based on interviews, questions and answers and direct observations during this service activity, it provides results of understanding and knowledge related to Solar Cell; knowledge related to tourism development potential in Haria Village, especially Batu Pintu and understanding related to the implementation of management strategies in Haria Village tourism development. Construction followed with the installation of solar panels which was carried out jointly by the PKM team, Haria village youth, and village officials. There are 4 solar panels with a power of 60 watts that can be installed at the Batu Pintu tourist spot. After testing the system, the operation of the solar cell is left to the administrator. Abstract

Multimedia is currently experiencing developments, not only for entertainment only through audio and visuals. In today's competitive economy, multimedia has a big role in marketing and advertising products and services in order to attract people to use and buy products and services. Multimedia has many types such as video, audio, text, and even animation. 2D animation is currently classified as a type of multimedia that is difficult to make but has excellent results in the teaching and learning process, therefore in this paper, we will create 2D animation about Tambrauw folklore in the learning process. This 2D animation tool used is Adobe software, starting from audio management (Adobe Audition), vector creation (Adobe Illustrator), moving objects (Adobe After Effect), and editing (Adobe Premiere Pro) to the rendering stage (Adobe Media Encoder). The expected result of making the 2D animation of Tambrauw folklore as a medium of learning is to make the learning process more effective. In addition, another goal of making the 2D animation of Tambrauw folklore as a learning medium so that folk tales originating from the land of Papua do not die from being swallowed up by the times because they are not documented.

Abstract

This literature review aims to investigate the potential of Mobile-Assisted Language Learning (MALL) applications in the development of English vocabulary skills. As mobile devices become increasingly integrated into our daily lives, their potential as tools for language learning has gained significant attention. This article explores the current research and examines the effectiveness of MALL applications in enhancing English vocabulary acquisition. The review highlights the advantages, challenges, and implications of using MALL applications and offers recommendations for educators, researchers, and developers to optimize the utilization of these applications for improving English vocabulary skills.
