Abstract

ABSTRAK: Perkembangan buah kakao sangat bergantung pada  berbagai faktor salah satunya adalah lingkungan perakaran. Lingkungan perakaran yang baik mampu menyediakan air dan nutrisi untuk proses fotosintesis dan juga secara langsung meningkatkan pertumbuhan buah, salah satu cara untuk memperbaiki kondisi perakaran tanaman kakao adalah dengan membuat rorak. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kebun kakao rakyat di Desa Lape Kecamatan Poso pesisir Kabupaten Poso, Sulawesi Tengah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai bulan April sampai dengan Juli 2022. Penelitian ini disusun menggunakan Rancangan Bujur Sangkar Latin (RBSL) dimana terdapat 4 perlakuan yang diulang sebanyak 4 kali. Aplikasi rorak yang diterapkan adalah 0, 1, 2, dan 4 rorak pertanaman. Tiap unit perlakuan terdiri dari 1 tanaman. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa aplikasi rorak tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata pada morfologi pertumbuhan buah kakao pada parameter amatan Panjang tangkai buah kakao, Panjang buah kakao, diameter tangkai buah, diameter buah, serta pada komponen hasil jumlah biji, bobot buah segar, bobot kulit segar, bobot biji kering/buah, bobot biji basah/buah, bobot biji kering/pohon, bobot biji kering/100 biji, jumlah biji kering/100 g dan produksi perhektar (ha). Aplikasi rorak tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap aktivitas Morfologi buah kakao. ABSTRACT: Cocoa fruit development is highly dependent on various factors, one of which is the root environment. A good root environment can provide water and nutrients for the photosynthesis process and also directly increase fruit growth, one way to improve the condition of cocoa plant roots is to make rorak. This research was conducted in a community cocoa garden in Lape Village, Poso Pesisir District, Poso Regency, Central Sulawesi. This research was conducted from April to July 2022. This research was arranged using a Latin Square Design (RBSL) where there were 4 treatments repeated 4 times. The rorak applications applied were 0, 1, 2, and 4 rorak per planting. Each treatment unit consists of 1 plant. The results of the study showed that the application of rorak did not have a significant effect on the morphology of cocoa fruit growth on the observation parameters of the length of the cocoa fruit stalk, the length of the cocoa fruit, the diameter of the fruit stalk, the diameter of the fruit, as well as on the components of the number of seeds, fresh fruit weight, fresh skin weight, dry seed weight/fruit, wet seed weight/fruit, dry seed weight/tree, dry seed weight/100 seeds, number of dry seeds/100 g and production per hectare (ha). The application of rorak did not have a significant effect on the activity of cocoa fruit morphology.

Abstract

ABSTRAK : Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni sampai Juli 2022. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik morfologi dan morfometri kambing PE serta hubungan antara ukuran-ukuran tubuh dengan bobot badan pada kambing peranakan etawa (PE). Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian terdiri dari data kuantitaif berupa bobot badan, tinggi badan, panjang badan, dan lingkar dada, data kualitatif berupa warna dan bentuk tubuh dan kepala kambing PE. Kambing peranakan etawa (PE) yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 30 ekor. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa morfologi kambing PE yang diperoleh dari lokasi sesuai dengan standarisasi nasional yaitu memiliki bentuk telinga panjang, lubang telinga terlihat menghadap kedepan, bentuk muka cembung, postur badan yang besar, terdapat kombinasi warna putih-cokelat, putih-hitam, dan putih-hitam-cokelat, mempunyai rambut bulu rewos atau rambut lebat yang tumbuh dibagian paha kaki bagian belakang yang menggantung terkulai. Kombinasi warna tubuh dan kepala didominasi warna putih-hitam sebanyak 30 % dan 33,3 %. Morfometri yang diperoleh dilokasi yaitu kambing jantan umur KU1 diperoleh nilai rata-rata panjang badan,tinggi badan, lingkar dada, dan bobot badan berturut-turut yaitu 52,50cm ±3,54, 51,00cm ±4,24, 58,50cm±2,12, dan 22,50kg±3,54. Kambing jantan umur KU2 diperoleh nilai rata-rata panjang badan, tinggi badan, lingkar dada, dan bobot badan berturut-turut yaitu 67,00cm ± 2,16, 65,00cm ± 2,16, 68,68cm ± 2,37, dan 35,90kg ± 1,82.Kambing jantan umur KU3 diperoleh nilai rata-rata panjang badan, tinggi badan, lingkar dada dan bobot badan berturut-turut yaitu 76,00cm ± 5,29, 77,33cm ± 6,66, 83,00cm ± 9,64 dan 52,00kg ± 10,58. Kambing betina umur KU1 diperoleh panjang badan, tinggi badan,  lingkar dada dan bobot badan berturut-turut yaitu 45,67cm±5,82, 41,50cm±4,76, 49,90cm±8,47 dan 18,30kg±4,91. Umur KU2 diperoleh nilai rata-rata panjang badan, tinggi badan, lingkar dada dan bobot badan berturut-turut yaitu 62,78cm ± 4,51, 60,62cm ± 5,16, 65,80cm ± 2,71 dan 31,95kg ± 4,02. Umur KU3 diperoleh nilai rata-rata panjang badan, tinggi badan, lingkar dada dan bobot badan berturut-turut yaitu 76,50cm ± 4,95, 75,00cm ± 1,41, 81,50cm ± 4,95 dan 46,00kg ± 5,66. Ukuran-ukuran tubuh kambing PE dilokasi ini menunjukkan masih dibawah standarisasi nasional. Nilai koefisien korelasi sudah menunjukkan hasil positif artinya ukuran tubuh sudah mulai mengalami peningkatan dengan bertambahnya bobot badan dan ukuran-ukuran tubuh mempunyai keeratan hubungan yang sangat kuat terhadap bobot badan. ABSTRACT: This study was conducted from June to July 2022. The purpose of this study was to determine the morphological and morphometric characteristics of PE goats and the relationship between body measurements and body weight in Etawa crossbred goats (PE). The variables observed in the study consisted of quantitative data in the form of body weight, height, body length, and chest circumference, qualitative data in the form of color and body shape and head of PE goats. There were 30 Etawa crossbred goats (PE) used in this study. The results of this study indicate that the morphology of PE goats obtained from the location is in accordance with national standards, namely having long ears, ear holes facing forward, a convex face shape, a large body posture, a combination of white-brown, white-black, and white-black-brown, having rewos hair or thick hair that grows on the thighs of the back legs that hang down. The combination of body and head colors is dominated by white-black as much as 30% and 33.3%. The morphometry obtained at the location, namely male goats aged KU1, obtained average body length, body height, chest circumference, and body weight values, respectively, namely 52.50 cm ± 3.54, 51.00 cm ± 4.24, 58.50 cm ± 2.12, and 22.50 kg ± 3.54. Male goats aged KU2 obtained average body length, height, chest circumference, and body weight values of 67.00cm ± 2.16, 65.00cm ± 2.16, 68.68cm ± 2.37, and 35.90kg ± 1.82, respectively. Male goats aged KU3 obtained average body length, height, chest circumference and body weight values of 76.00cm ± 5.29, 77.33cm ± 6.66, 83.00cm ± 9.64 and 52.00kg ± 10.58, respectively. Female goats aged KU1 obtained body length, height, chest circumference and body weight respectively, namely 45.67cm ± 5.82, 41.50cm ± 4.76, 49.90cm ± 8.47 and 18.30kg ± 4.91. Age KU2 obtained average body length, height, chest circumference and body weight respectively, namely 62.78cm ± 4.51, 60.62cm ± 5.16, 65.80cm ± 2.71 and 31.95kg ± 4.02. The average value of body length, height, chest circumference and body weight of KU3 age were 76.50cm ± 4.95, 75.00cm ± 1.41, 81.50cm ± 4.95 and 46.00kg ± 5.66, respectively. The body sizes of PE goats at this location showed that they were still below national standards. The correlation coefficient value has shown positive results, meaning that body size has begun to increase with increasing body weight and body sizes have a very strong relationship to body weight.

Abstract

ABSTRAK : Lahan tempat kopi tumbuh saat ini telah banyak mengalami perubahan dari segi temperatur akibat pemanasan global. Sehingga tanaman kopi harus diusahakan dengan menggeser posisi ketinggian untuk menemukan temperatur yang sesuai. Namun kendalanya lahan subur untuk pengembanagan tanaman semakin berkurang dan hanya menyisahkan lahan luas non-produkktif. Penelitian dilakukan untuk menyelidiki pengaruh pemberian beberapa jenis bahan organik terhadap produksi tanaman kopi pada tanah inceptisol. Penelitian dilaksanakan di lahan Perkebunan Kopi Kecamatan Lore Timur (Lembah Napu) Kabupaten Poso Sulawesi Tengah Mulai bulan Maret – September 2023. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. K0= Kontrol tampa perlakuan pupuk; K1= Pemberian Pupuk organik daun Gamal 5 kg/pohon; K2=Pemberian Pupuk organik Daun Paitan 5 kg/pohon; K3=Pemberian Pupuk Organik Daun Johar 5 kg/pohon; K4    = Pemberian pupuk anorganik Phonska 0,86 kg. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk organik daun gamal memberikan berat buah cherry dan berat biji kopi lebih baik dibanding jenis pupuk organik lainnya, dan hampir setara dengan hasil yang dipanen dari tanaman kopi yang diberi pupuk anorganik Phonska. ABSTRACT: The land where coffee is currently grown has undergone many changes in terms of temperature due to global warming. So that coffee plants must be cultivated by shifting the height position to find the right temperature. However, the obstacle is that fertile land for plant development is decreasing and only leaving large areas of non-productive land. The study was conducted to investigate the effect of providing several types of organic materials on coffee plant production on inceptisol soil. The study was conducted in the Coffee Plantation land of East Lore District (Napu Valley), Poso Regency, Central Sulawesi from March to September 2023. The study used a Randomized Block Design consisting of 5 treatments and 4 replications. K0 = Control without fertilizer treatment; K1 = Provision of organic Gamal leaf fertilizer 5 kg / tree; K2 = Provision of organic Paitan Leaf Fertilizer 5 kg / tree; K3 = Provision of Organic Johar Leaf Fertilizer 5 kg / tree; K4 = Provision of inorganic Phonska fertilizer 0.86 kg. The results of the study showed that the provision of organic gamal leaf fertilizer resulted in better cherry fruit weight and coffee bean weight compared to other types of organic fertilizer, and was almost equivalent to the results harvested from coffee plants given Phonska inorganic fertilizer.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Bawang merah (Allium cepa L) merupakan tanaman hortikultura yang selama ini dibudidayakan oleh petani  menjadi komoditas unggulan nasional. bawang merah berkhasiat untuk mengobati maag, masuk angin, menurunkan kadar gula dalam darah, kolesterol, obat penyakit kencing manis, menghilangkan lendir dalam tenggorokan, memperlancar peredaran darah, mencegah penggumpalan trombosit, dan meningkatkan aktivitas fibrinolitik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakann diDesa Maranda Kecamatan Poso Pesisir Utara pada bulan Juni hingga Agustus 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 5 perlakuan , yaitu:=tanpa tepung cangkang telur (kontrol), tepung cangkang telur 30 gram (T1), tepung cangkang telur 60 gram (T2), tepung cangkang telur 90 gram (T3), tepung cangkang telur 120 gram (T4). Tiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 4 kali sehingga terdapatt 20 kali unit percobaan sehingga dalam penelitian ini terdapat 100 tanaman. Hasil penelitian adalah penggunaan berbagai dosis tepung cangkang telur ayam memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap variabel tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, bobot segar umbi, bobot kering umbi dan hasil produksi umbi bawang merah varietasLembah Palu.Penggunaan tepung cangkang telur pada perlakuan 90 gram/tanaman merupakan perlakuan terbaik untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah varietas Lembah Palu. ABSTRACT: Shallots (Allium cepa L.) is a horticultural plant which has been cultivated by farmers to become a national superior commodity. Shallots are efficacious for treating ulcers, colds, lowering blood sugar levels, cholesterol, medicine for diabetes, removing mucus in the throat, improving blood circulation, prevents platelet clumping, and increases fibrinolytic activity. This research was carried out in Maranda Village, Poso Pesisir Utara Sub-District from June to August 2023. This research used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 5 treatments, namely: = without egg shell flour (control), 30 gram egg shell flour (T1), flour egg shell 60 grams (T2), egg shell flour 90 grams (T3), egg shell flour 120 grams (T4). Each treatment was repeated 4 times so that there were 20 experimental units so that in this study there were 100 plants. The results of the research were that the use of various chicken eggshell starch steps had a significant effect on the variables of plant height, number of leaves, fresh weight of tubers, dry weight of tubers and production yields of shallots of the Palu Valley variety.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Bibit yang baik dan berkualitas diperoleh dari benih yang baik dan berkualitas yang ditumbuhkan pada media tanam yang berkualitas. Salah satu indicator kualitas media tanam adalah kadar bahan organic tanah. Di dalam tanah, bahan organic akan memperbaiki tanah secara fisik, kimia dan biologi. Daun gamal merupakan salah satu jenis bahan yang dapat dibuat kompos yang dapat diaplikasikan ke dalam tanah. Telah dilakukan penelitian berbagai dosis kompos daun gamal (0, 9, 11, 13 dan 15 g/polybag) pada pembibitan kopi arabika. Setiap perlakuan diulang empat kali dan disusun menurut rancangan acak kelompok (RAK). Sampel tanah dikompositkan menurut perlakuan lalu dianalisis kadar bahan organiknya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi kompos daun gamal meningkatkan kadar bahan organik tanah pembibitan kopi arabika. Setiap kenaikan satu satuan dosis kompos daun gamal akan meningkatkan kadar bahan organik tanah sebesar 0,2278 kali dengan tingkat keeratan hubungan 87,42%. ABSTRACT: Good and quality seeds are obtained from good and quality seeds grown in quality planting media One indicator of the quality of the planting medium is the level of soil organic matter. In the soil, organic matter will improve the soil physically, chemically and biologically. Gamal leaves are a type of compostable material that can be applied to the soil. Research has been carried out on various doses of gamal leaf compost (0, 9, 11, 13 and 15 g/polybag) on Arabica coffee nurseries. Each treatment was repeated four times and arranged according to a randomized block design (RBD). Soil samples were composited according to treatment and then analyzed for organic matter content. The results showed that the application of gamal leaf compost increased the organic matter content of Arabica coffee nursery soil. Each increase in one unit dose of gamal leaf compost will increase soil organic matter levels by 0.2278 times with a closeness level of 87.42%.
