Abstract

Regular maintenance is one step to keep your car looking good, but many people still underestimate the importance of regular maintenance. A tool called Wireless Odometer has been created which can notify vehicle owners through the application if the vehicle mileage has entered the recommended criteria for periodic servicing. Based on previous research, Wireless Odometer still has weaknesses. sensor readings on this tool still have an error of 13.2% so it is still less accurate if applied to measure mileage on vehicles. It is necessary to have a digital filter that must be added to the sensor readings so that the sensor is resistant to noise that occurs due to mechanical or electrical. In this research, we implement the Moving Average Filter and Kalman Filter methods for sensor readings on the Wireless Odometer. After several tests were carried out, it was found that the percentage of reading errors when filtered reached 0.80% using the Kalman filter method and 1.81% using the Moving Average Filter method. It can be concluded that the filter that is suitable for use on this Wireless Odometer is the kalman filter.

Abstract

Environmental monitoring and control systems of various electronic equipment such as sensors, actuators, televisions, lights, and surveillance cameras are one of the essential applications of Internet-of-Things (IoT). The utilization of IoT has also given birth to the smart home concept, which is realized in the form of home automation, where various equipment at home is equipped with a microcontroller and WiFi module such that they can connect to the Internet and interact with each other. One of the equipment at home that can be monitored and controlled using IoT technology is a fish aquarium which is commonly owned by ornamental fish cultivators or people who have a hobby of taking care of ornamental fish. Taking care of ornamental fish requires special attention to the parameters of temperature and water quality such that the fish can grow well. This study aims to design and implement an IoT-based temperature and water level monitoring system in an aquarium. The hardware in this system is implemented using NodeMCU ESP8266 as the central controller and the WiFi module that connects the system to the Internet, temperature sensor DS18B20, ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04, and relays to turn on and off equipment controlled by the system. In addition, Telegram bots are used to give commands to control equipment and receive notifications from the system. The testing results show that the designed system can work according to predetermined specifications. If the water temperature in the aquarium is outside of a specified range (24°C to 32°C), the system will activate a fan or a heater to adjust the water temperature.

Abstract

Assurance is a non-bank financial institution that carries out an agreement between the insurer and the insured to provide protection or protection suffered by the insured for financial losses arising from unexpected and uncertain events. Insurance consumers come from various circles, insurance has an agent who plays a role in marketing insurance products owned by the company. The problem with insurance users is that they often have difficulty reporting problems. Reporting problems at the Manulife insurance company still cannot help optimally, as evidenced by the use of Notepad and Microsoft Excel. Based on these problems, this research creates an application called MiDesk to help the problems faced by consumers. This application uses the user-centered UCD method so that all these processes produce products that meet user needs. The result achieved using the UCD method is a Web-based Helpdesk application. The result of this research is a web-based MiDesk application that can be used by the Manulife Helpdesk IT agent team.

Abstract

PT. Ganding Toolsindo is an automotive stamping parts company that has been established since 1998. This design is illustrated by conducting research at the kruing plant which is placed in the production division to assist the audit process at first and collect customer data, then get a mandate from the managerial to create an information system that is integration and innovation in the area of return and use of dies. Then look for accurate data with various methods so that the implementation of this system goes well, on this occasion the design was made with the concept of a dies locator information system that tracks the existence of dies for production and contains the identity of dies data in the production process. The problem that occurs is that the operator often places the dies not according to the existing shelves and in the end the dies become unorganized and neat when the production process is running. The method of developing this system is to use SDLC (system development life cycle), namely Waterfall. This information system uses mysql and codeigniter, then to run this system using xampp. The whole of this information system is about tracking the dies whether they are in production or on the shelf, if they are being repaired, the status of the dies will change as well as the status of the dies when they are being used in production. In this system feature there are customer data, part data, shelf data, user data and the duration of use of the dies. In the end, this system generates a report to the production supervisor to be seen and in what dies data is being used in production so that there will be no more misplaced shelves.

Abstract

On the security aspect, it is necessary to know how effectively a firewall can protect network devices from DDoS attacks. The characteristics of a firewall have different functions in protecting the system from various external attacks that can attack and retrieve data. In this research, the implementation of Paloalto firewall virtualization aims to obtain the system profile function on the firewall based on the use of computing resources. Profiling of the firewall system of this experiment based on the consumption of computing resources in load testing. This experiment used a DDoS SYN flood attack on Kali Linux as an attacker and a virtualization Paloalto firewall that protects a web server on Ubuntu Server as an attack target. This research distinguished based on two test scenarios, namely based on testing the service HTTP allow and service HTTP block with Paloalto memory specifications at RAM 5.5 GB and RAM 8 GB specifications. Measurements were made based on computing resources on CPU, memory, and a session focused on before, during, and after DDoS SYN flood attacks. The pattern of usage of computing resources tends to be linear when a DDoS SYN flood attack occurs. The experimental results obtained on the highest use of computing resources during the attack were CPU usage with an average percentage of 95.8% and the second increase was in memory usage with an average percentage of 44%, and the session usage was 138682. For further research, it can use variations of DDoS attacks to get a wider profile.

Abstract

Scholarship is one of the allowances given to students as study aid provided by the government. Likewise with the Kotawaringin Timur government, which annually provides scholarship assistance to students with limited conditions and quotas. Formal educational institutions under the auspices of the Kotim Regency Education Office, students or college students get a quota for those participating in the scholarship program for underprivileged and high achieving criteria from the government. Therefore, scholarships must be given to students who deserve and deserve to get it in accordance with the regulations that have been set at the Kotim Regional Secretariat office. This selection process requires accuracy and a long time, because each data is compared with each other according to predetermined criteria. This study resulted in the final value of the comparison between the SAW and AHP methods. The final result with the SAW method the highest value obtained by the fifth alternative with 100. While the final result with the AHP method obtained the highest value by A1 with a value of 0.4734.

Abstract

Technology is currently developing quite widely, information technology is not only technology that functions to work and store data, but also information technology to send or disseminate data. in the selection of scholarships at SDN 4 Mentawa Baru Hulu Sampit in determining the PIP scholarships still using the manual method so that it can cause inefficiencies in the management of scholarship data, as well as errors in determining scholarship recipients. Data management is also done manually, this also causes the process of identifying scholarship decisions to be slow. From these problems, we need a scholarship decision support system that can use data management and also determine scholarship decisions. The author builds a scholarship acceptance decision support system by comparing the WP and SAW methods. it is hoped that this method can determine the right method to be applied in determining scholarships, and can assist school principals and school operators in processing scholarship assessments. Based on the final calculation results, the SAW method and the WP method can produce different scholarship ratings. Based on the WP = Nanang Sujana method as the best alternative and followed by other best alternatives A3, A4, A1, and A2, then the SAW method was obtained by Radhiyatul Maulida as the best alternative and followed by other alternatives A2, A3, A4, and A5. From the comparison results with the MSE (Mean Squared Error) method, the Weighted Product (WP) method produces a higher deviation value than the Simple Addative Weighting (SAW), with a comparison of the deviation value, namely the WP method = 4363,47509 while the SAW method is obtained = 4259 , 71350. Therefore, the Weighted Product (WP) method can be recommended in making scholarship selection decisions at SDN 4 Mentawa Baru Hulu Sampit.

Abstract

Auditors have an important role in the company. This is because the results of the auditor's work are related to the continuity of the company's organization. The role of the auditor is so important for the company that the auditor should have extensive knowledge and good analytical skills. in the selection process does not have a special reference that causes the selected auditor is not in accordance with what is expected by the company. Therefore, it is necessary that the process for selecting auditors has been computerized with a computer. Decision Support System is a system that is already connected to a computer. Decision Support System is part of an information system on a computer that is used to process data. The Multi-objective Optimization method on the basis of Simple Ration Analysis (MOOSRA) is a method that can be used to solve problems on semi-structured and multidisciplinary attributes. The results showed that Alternative 1 (A1) was chosen as the auditor with the highest score of 5.60

Abstract

Degenerative disease is a non-communicable disease that arises from an unhealthy lifestyle, so that it can reduce the physical and mental quality of the sufferer. Chronic Kidney Disease (CDK) is a degenerative disease that is included in the world's top 10 causes of death according to the World Health Organization (WHO). This study used CDK data with attributes of age, blood pressure, weight, albumin levels, sugar levels, red blood cells, pus cells, pus cell clots, bacteria, blood sugar levels, blood urea levels, creatinine serum, sodium, magnesium, hemoglobin, the volume occupied by red blood, indications of hypertension, indications of diabetes mellitus, indications of coronary heart disease, appetite, indications of swelling in the calves or feet, and indications of anemia. Therefore, the classification of kidney disease data is carried out with the implementation of the superior Naïve Bayes Classifier (NBC) algorithm and produces a high level of accuracy. The classification results using the RapidMiner tools carried out by the application of the NBC algorithm, the accuracy value is 96.43%, the average recall is 93.18%, the average precision is 93.02%, and the AUC is 93.2%. so it can be concluded that the performance of NBC in classifying chronic kidney disease data is excellent.

Abstract

Technological developments in the field of Embedded Systems and Internet Of Thing, can be implemented in a system capable of monitoring air pollution, where the system is capable of transmitting data in real time using sensors located at near or far distances. To transmit data from various sensor devices that are located remotely, the use of LoRA technology is a solution for sending data between the client and the gateway, LoRA communication technology can be implemented into an air pollution monitoring system where the sensors are placed far from the gateway and cloud server. The prototype of this air pollution detector uses an Arduino Uno microcontroller and a Nitrogen Carbon sensor that can detect CO, NO2 and NH3 connected to LoRA Shield with the IoT platform as a monitoring and notification system. The measurement results of the three sensors in this study are displayed on the Smart Phone as a notification. From the research, it was found that the content of NH3 was 1.88ppm, CO was 17.76 ppm and NO2 was 0.12ppm. Based on the Air Pollutant Index, the results of the air quality in this area are not good.
