Abstract

Surveys are usually confused with the term observation in the everyday sense, surveys are also the main way to collect primary data if secondary data are deemed incomplete to answer a question, if the secondary data is complete enough and the hypothesis can be tested with secondary data then Direct primary data collection using the survey method is no longer necessary, a survey is looking for detailed factual information that is currently symptomatic and identifying problems or to justify conditions and ongoing activities to find out what people are doing which is the target of research in solving problems, as material for planning and making decisions in the future. SMART (Simple Multi - Attribute Rating Technique) is a multi-criteria decision-making method developed by Edward in 1977.This multi-criteria decision-making technique is based on the theory that each alternative consists of a number of criteria that have values and each criterion has a weight describes how important it is compared to other criteria. This weighting is used to assess each alternative in order to obtain the best alternative. SMART uses a linear additive model to predict the value of each alternative. SMART is a flexible decision making method.

Abstract

Linux is a kernel whose development has been very active since it was first released to the public. With a large community, Linux development has penetrated into various fields in the world of computerization, including personal computers. Today, Linux can be used on a variety of devices from personal computers to embedded systems. The development is very active thanks to the large community and Linux adopting open source, many developers are making their own version of the Linux-based operating system. Versions and types of Linux-based operating systems are called distros or distributions. The number of versions and types of Linux-based operating systems, of course, confuses users who are trying Linux for the first time or who want to fully switch to Linux from another operating system. Decision support systems can provide alternative solutions for those users who are confused about choosing a Linux distribution. By using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method, the existing criteria can be used as benchmarks in determining the Linux distribution of choice and therefore the accuracy of the system can exceed 90%

Abstract

Data security and confidentiality is one very important aspect in today's information system. The emergence of internet and multimedia technology has prompted various efforts to protect, secure, and hide data on digital files from unauthorized parties to access these files. One of the efforts to secure data and information includes using the Venigmare Cihper and the Vernam Cihper. Venigmare is an encryption that can reduce the correlation between the frequency of letters in plaintext and Ciphertext. But unfortunately this method still leaves a repeating pattern, especially if the encrypted plaintext is long enough. In this case, the role of the data encryption technique known as cryptography is very important. Cryptography is a technique for encoding data through a process of encryption and decryption with a specific key to produce encrypted data that is unknown to others. This paper will use the Vernam Cipher algorithm.

Abstract

Information technology is currently a technology that is widely adopted by almost all organizations and is believed to be able to help increase the efficiency of ongoing processes, including in educational institutions. IT Governance offers various solutions, innovations, and changes to the company's business, however, the application of information technology must be in accordance with the company's business objectives. The key to entering the world of global business is a qualification that includes skills, knowledge and experience combined with international certification for global recognition. The application of information technology must be tailored to the needs of the institution in order to achieve institutional goals. This research was conducted to conduct an assessment and evaluation of the governance of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) at the Nurul Fikri Integrated Islamic School, Depok. Knowing this condition will make it easier to take action to improve HRIS governance, use the Cobit method and focus on the PO and AI domains. The implementation of HRIS governance at the Nurul Fikri Integrated Islamic School has been carried out even though it is still not running optimally because it has reached the expected level of maturity. The maturity level of the HRIS governance at the Nurul Fikri Integrated Islamic School is at level 2 (Managed Process) for both the PO and AI domains.

Abstract

Hosting is a place or internet service to make the website pages that you have created online and can be accessed by other people. Meanwhile, Hosting itself is an internet service that provides server resources for rent, allowing organizations or individuals to place information on the internet in the form of HTTP, FTP, EMAIL or DNS. Domain is an identifier string that is used to identify a server such as a web server or mail server on a computer network or the internet for easy access by the user. By using a domain you no longer need to remember the IP address of the server you are going to, because everything has been regulated by the Domain Name Server (DNS) so that the domain you write about will be directly connected to the IP address of the server. WebServer is a software that provides data-based services and functions to receive requests from HTTP or HTTPS on a known client and usually known as a web browser (Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome) and to send back the results in the form of several web pages and in general. will be in the form of an HTML document.

Abstract

Data security and confidentiality issues are one of the important aspects in terms of information exchange. One solution to maintaining the security and confidentiality of files is an encryption technique as an encryption and decryption key. This research describes the development of cryptography (encryption and decryption) that implements the Paillier algorithm. The purpose of Paul's algorithm was chosen because it is a Caesarean algorithm, where Paul's algorithm uses two keys. This research produces an application program that aims to increase file security. In making this application, the method used is Paillier's Algorithm, because it is very suitable for file security that results in completing encryption processes and descriptions. This application is made with the Android programming language and the creation of a file security application with an encryption and description process using the Paillier algorithm, which is expected to solve this problem.

Abstract

The development of e-learning system ini companies is very important in the learning process and training of employees or agents to achieve company goals. Like at PT. Global Infotech solution where the learning process still uses manuals so that it hinders learning because to hold training is quite large ini incurring costs for agents who are outside the region. Therefore companies need an e-learning system to help the employee agent learning process to be more affective. E-learning system have been developed and implemented using the moodle platform, which is one of the learning management system. The development method used is the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Implementation, Evaluation) model so that it is faster ini developing an e-learning system platform according to user needs in the company. The results of the e-learning system research were assessed through employee agent responses from the learning aspect of 84.75% with a good category, seen from the display aspect of 86.05% with the very good category, seen from the aspect of the e-learning system using the Moodle platform of 80, 32% with a good category, and the last one seen from the material aspect in the e-learning system with an interesting concept of 89.82% with the very good category. So the overall assessment of the quality of the e-learning system as a whole is 85.25 with a good category. With this e-learning system, the learning process will be more efficient in displaying learning information needed by company agents in a web-based form and can be accessed by users online as long as they are connected to the internet.

Abstract

Uang Kuliah Tunggal (UKT) is a system that is applied in the financing of the lectures to be borne by the students of the State Universities which are under the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristek Dikti). Single tuition consists of seven groups, namely groups UKT 1 (one), the group of UKT 2 (two), a group of UKT 3 (three), the group of UKT 4 (four), the group of UKT 5 (five), the group of UKT 6 (six) and group 7 (seven), which nominal varies. In determining the provision of Single tuition fee (UKT) needed a System Supporting the Decision. In the determination of decisions, often appear subjective assessment of the decision makers, this can be an obstacle in the selection process because the results obtained are not the maximum. For it in build a system supporting the decision to utilize a method that is WASPAS. Methods WASPAS can be used to select the Student recipient of the Uang Kuliah Tunggal (UKT) criteria-the criteria that have been determined. The results obtained from this study is that there is one student with the highest value 10,88 ranked one, thus the student is entitled to receive a Uang Kuliah Tunggal (UKT)

Abstract

The public works office of Maluku province is one of the public bodies that has the task of carrying out the affairs of the local government. The purpose of the research is to find out the extent of contribution and utilization through IT applications in supporting employee performance needs. This study uses IT Balanced Scorecard method as a means of measuring clearly, monitoring and optimizing the realization of business values or benefits and benefits of Information Technology where IT Balanced Scorecard has 4 perspectives (Organizational Contribution Perspective, User Orientation Perspective, Operational Excellence Perspective, and Future Orientation Perspective). The research method that will be used in The Measurement of Performance of Public Works Service Employees is mixed methods. In this study, data collection was obtained through interviews, observations, and dissemination of questionnaires to a selected number of respondents based on their abilities and relevant to their work. This study showed the measurement value of Organizational Contribution by 23 percent, User Orientation by 19 percent, Operations by 21 percent, and Future Orientation by 20 percent and for the average result of the IT Balanced Scorecard value is 85 percent. In the employee measurement results, the highest perspective is organization contribution by 23 percent, and the lowest perspective is User Orientation by 19 percent. Thus, it indicates that the employee as a user is not adequate in the activities for the future. The ability and expertise of employees still have limitations with a number of obstacles in organizing the system appropriately. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the competence and expertise in the training provided. And also satisfaction in using information system applications need to be improved again so as to be able to face the changes to come.
