Abstract

The development of information and communication technology also influences the progress of learning media innovation, this study uses the information system development method consisting of three stages of research development procedures, namely needs analysis, design, development and implementation. The subjects of this study were students on digital simulation subjects majoring in computer network engineering at SMK Revany Indra Putra. The results showed that interactive learning media on digital simulation subjects could be a variety of media for learning. It is expected that the results of the development of this virtual module will have an impact on increasing students' mastery in learning digital simulations.

Abstract

The selection of majors for prospective vocational students is the first step in determining the next career. The determination of the major aims so that students can be directed in receiving lessons based on the ability and talent of students and of course when they have graduated have the skills to get a job if they do not continue their studies. Siti Banun Sigambal Private Vocational School is located in Labuhanbatu Rantau Prapat. In realizing one of the missions of SMK, namely Realizing quality learning in Vocational High School, SMK Siti Banun in determining the Department by conducting tests. In classifying data mining techniques can be used, among others Decision Tree, K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) and Support Vector Machine (SVM). This research was conducted to compare the performance of Decision Tree, KNN and SVM algorithms in determining majors. Of the 245-test data used obtained SVM has an accuracy value of 89%, precision 87% while KNN has an accuracy value of 84%, precision 81% and Decision Tree has an accuracy value of 78% and precision of 75%.

Abstract

Right now the Covid-19 pandemic is very troubling where people must comply with regulations that have been made by the government, namely reducing non-essential activities outside the home so that there are no crowds, at this time many educational institutions are closed for face-to-face learning activities and then online or online learning is applied. online. In this online learning there are many media that can be used so that it makes teachers and students confused to determine which media is the most appropriate to use. This study uses a Decision Support System as a system in selecting which online learning media is the best. In determining the best online learning media, it must meet criteria such as User Capacity, Visual Interaction, Friendly Features, Application Features and Internet Data Usage. Therefore, a Decision Support System (DSS) is needed in solving existing problems by applying the ROC (Rank Order Centroid) and OCRA (Operational Competitiveness Rating Analysis) methods that can generate weight values and preference values from the first ranked alternative. So that the best online learning media during the Covid-19 pandemic lies in the A3 alternative, namely Moodle with a value of 2,296.

Abstract

Participants of the national level scientific work olympic are participants who will take part in competitions between one campus and another on a national basis in showing scientific works or research results with certain themes in a competition. The importance of choosing is because an olympic participant is a pride and also brings the good name of the college where they study, if you bring the wrong participant it will create new problems in assessing the quality of a university, in this study, the selection of participants for the olympic scientific work at the national level using concept of the algorithm of a decision support system using the MOORA method. The MOORA method or the abbreviation of Multi-Objective Optimization on The Basis Of Ratio Analysis is a decision support system method that has simple stages and processes in solving problems. The results of this study found the highest score with the candidate with a value of 10.93991.

Abstract

Mentoring is one of the activities that function to foster students in the religious field under the student activity unit, namely the Mentoring Unit. This mentoring activity is also one of the requirements for passing student evaluation activities. Reports that run in the Mentoring Unit are still manual or not yet computerized, such as in attendance, recitations, and exams. To overcome the problems that occurred above, a web based application development for mentoring from the University of Technology Sumbawa was made using the PHP programming language, Laravel framework and MySQL as a database. The software development method used is the waterfall and the Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling method. The results of the mentoring reporting application can make it easier for the Mentoring Unit to report every week or period

Abstract

Number preparation using Puzzle 8 is a game that is very popular with children at this time, this educational game has very broad benefits for improving memory and thinking patterns. The 8 Puzzle Game Algorithm must have a clear step-by-step process in order to achieve a goal in the Search system. Logic Game 8 puzzles using the Ascent Hill Climbing Algorithm are often used in artificial intelligence. The problem that occurs in the research, the lack of understanding of children to find a suitable algorithm to arrange the 8 Puzzle game according to the principle of how an algorithm works. The game of compiling 8 puzzles must follow the rules that have been determined in order to obtain the correct algorithm so as to produce an arrangement that is in accordance with the initial data. The benefit of this research is that it provides a solution to complete the game of 8 puzzles according to the rules of the Ascent Hill Climbing Search Algorithm so as to produce a solution in the search method. Based on the search process, the final result of the puzzle game is in the correct position of 8 squares according to the initial rule, so the search is stopped and produces a goal.

Abstract

Video Blogs or Vlogs are a new way to present material interactively. During making videos, vloggers often find it challenging to carry out their activities in recording or taking videos themselves, so they need a camera operator. The presence of automation technology with a combination of computer vision can provide vloggers to produce work. The answer resulting from the variety of these two technologies is robot technology with a facial recognition system and can assist vlogger activities. Based on the test results, the automatic image-taking robot has face detection capabilities with a success rate of 80% for ten trials. This robot also can automatically maintain a distance from the vlogger, where the overall test results have a 90% success rate.

Abstract

In modern times games that require extensive space and spend a lot of resources such as the maze game are starting to disappear. But the development of technology made games such as maze escape develop in the form of computer simulations. The purpose of this study is to design a game that can be played to fill free time and eliminate boredom and simultaneously train the player's brain. To determine the most optimal route, the route that has the shortest distance is using the Greedy algorithm approach. The Greedy algorithm is an algorithm that solves problems step by step and is one method in optimization problems. The approach used in the Greedy algorithm is to make a choice that looks to provide the best gain, namely by making a choice of local optimum at each step and is expected to get a global optimum solution.

Abstract

Sentiment analysis is research that processed used computer that comes from opinion and emotion wich realized in shape of text. The method that used to analyze sentiment is using Text Mining used for mining the text in order to get comprehension about the important aspect. Text Mining done at social media Twitter. This research analyze public sentiment related with vaccination. Step of Preprocessing contains Crawling Data, Cleaning, Filtering, Stemming, TF-IDF, and labeling. Result from labeling and percentage calculation get percentage that Positive Sentiment is 29.17%, Negative Sentiment is 55.09% percentage, and Neutral is 15.74% percentage. Could be seen that Indonesian public still given many Negative Comments related with vaccination. Result of K-NN calculation with K-9 generate the accuracy is 84.53%.

Abstract

Image processing is any form of signal processing where the input is an image, such as a photo or video frame, while the output of image processing can be an image or a number of characteristics or parameters associated with the image. A digital image is a sequence of real or complex numbers represented by certain bits. Generally, digital images form rectangles or squares (in some imaging systems there are also hexagons) that have a certain width and height. At the time of sending the image, it often experiences damage to the image which results in a decrease in quality or a decrease in image quality. Often the information presented with the image is different from the original image. In this study, the authors propose the Line-Column Interpolation Method (LCI) as a new method. This method was tested to enlarge the size of medical images. Larger image sizes produce larger objects while preserving their local structure values. Thus, the results of the enlargement make better observations of objects in the image. The benefits that the author wants to achieve in this study are to be able to obtain better image scale enlargement results than before and to find out the advantages and disadvantages of using the LineColoumn Interpolation method in image scale enlargement.
