Abstract

In a Class Action Research has several goals as follows: (1) Want to know zig-zag variations can increase the motivation to learn drible on the game of basketball and (2) Want to know through the zig-zag variation in train with basketball can improve performance students.Research Sites SMAN Jatiroto. Classroom action research will be implemented in Class XI IPA.3. Time studies Semester Academic Year 2012/2013. Characteristics Students are very interested at all in games or basketball, this is evident in the student questionnaire to mememilih exstra curricular activities.Discussion of the results of the analysis can be described as follows: Exercise drible zig- zag was instrumental once against drible practice on the game of basketball. This is evident from analysis of increased capacity in table 5 and 6, both the increase in the number of students Very Good group of 3 to 11 with a percentage of 7.5% to 27.5%, for the group Good from 4 to 19 with a percentage of 10 % increase to 47.5%. So it can be concluded that (1) the exercise drible zig-zag was instrumental to increase student motivation and (2) the exercise drible zig-zag greatly contribute to improving the ability drible in the game of basketball. Keywords: Drible, basketball

Abstract

This research aims to identify and assess the optimization of Agility Through Ladder Drill Training for Pre-PON Futsal Players‟ of South Kalimantan. This research uses quantitative methods with the quasi-experiment. The population in this research are Pre PON Futsal Players‟ South Kalimantan from whom the respondent are taken. All the population are determined as the respondent; they are 19 player. The 19 player are given the measurement of their agility (zig-zag run) which has resulted in a scores to be used as the preliminary data in the research. After conducting the step, then the ladder drill is given and the scores of agility are pre-measured.The results of analysis shows that t-count regression test in pairs that there are differences in the results of the tests before and after the treatment is given to Pre-PON futsal players‟ of South Kalimantan. These can be seen from the  results of the calculation on the preliminary and final data, showing that t (9.36) is in beyond the interval t table (-1.729 to1.729). In this relation, it can be concluded that the treatment of giving ladder drill can results  of  test  results  on  agility  (zig-zag  run)  Pre-PON  futsal  players‟  of  South Kalimantan. Keywords: Optimization, agility, ladder drill training

Abstract

The Influence Of Plyometrics Training Method And Maxex With Strength Toward Speed Of Tendangan Sabit Pencaksilat In STKIP Setia Budhi Rangkas Bitung.The purpose of this study was determine the influence of plyometrics training method and maxex with strength of speed tendangan sabit Pencak Silat in STKIP Setia Budhi Rangkasbitung Lebak-Banten 2013. This research used a factorial design experiment with 2x2. Sampling using cluster random sampling, the number of sample are60 people and divided into four groups, each group consist of 15 people. Analysis data using Analysis of variance (ANAVA) and further test wit test Tukey.This  research  concluded  that:  (1)  Overall  there  are  significant  differences  betweenPlyometrics training  method  treatment and  Maxex training  method  toward  speed  of Tendangan Sabit Pencak Silat, (2) There is interaction between Plyometrics training method and Maxex with strength toward Tendangan Sabit Pencak Silat, (3) For the group of students who have high strength, the speed of Tendangan Sabit higher when trained with Maxex training method, (4) For the group of students who have low strength, the speed of Tendangan Sabit higher when trained with Plyometrics training method. Keywords: Plyometrics, Strength toward speed, tendangan sabit

Abstract

Effect of Arms’ Muscle Strength Exercise Through Pull  Up on Improving of performance of Speed Track for the Athletes of Indonesian Rock Climbing Federation, Banjarbaru. This research uses the quasi experimental method. The population in this research are all the athletes of Indonesian Rock Climbing Federation, Banjarbaru. Population using the total sampling technique.Data collected in the form of quantitative data are the data of testing result on speed tract.The result of analysis on the differences of the results of the pretest and the posttest shows that performance of speed tract indicates t-count= 4.440 with p = 0.004;  p is lower than 0.05 (p <0.05), thus  t-count is significant. The result of research shows that: there is an effect of pull up exercise on the performance of  speed tract for the athletes of Indonesian Climbing Federation, Banjarbaru. Keywords: Effect, pull up, and performance of Speed Track.

Abstract

The Effect Of The Whole Training Method And Half Training Method Toward The Skill Of A Single Empthy - Handed Pencak Silat To Beginner Athletes (10-12  Years  Old)  In  Bakti  Negara  Institution Tegallalang Subdistrict, Gianyar Regency. The research aim is to know the whole and half training method toward single stance empty handed Pencak silat. The subjects of study are beginner athlete (10 – 12 years old) male from Bakti Negara instituation, subdistrict of Tegallalang, Gianyar Regency which are consist of 30 people. The research design of this study is experimental research which is consists of the modified group pre-test – post-test design. The data collection is consists of single stance empty handed instrument skill pencak silat. The data analysis is using (t-test) with 5% significance and supported by SPSS computer program16.0 with 0.05 significances.The result of data analysis (1) whole training method influenced to single stance empty handed pencak silat skill, with its result thit = 14,10 >ttab = 2,048, (2) half training method method influenced to single stance empty handed pencak silat skill, with its result thit = 7,20 >ttab = 2,048, (3) there are differences inskill single stance empty handed pencak silat between whole and partial training methods, seen from the data gain score with the results significance thit=11.086and the significance of the count was 0,000 smaller than α (0.000 <0.05) means that the  whole training method and  half training method have differences. The whole training method give better effect than half training method toward single stance empty handed pencak silat to beginner athletes(10-12 years old), it can be seen from the average of the data gain score whole training method=8.57>half training method=4.77.It can be concluded that (1) there is the effect of the whole training method to single stance empty handed skill for pencak silat in beginner athletes (10-12 years old), (2) there are significant whole training method to single stance empty handed skill  for pencak silat in beginner athletes (10-12 years old), (3) there are differences in skill acquisition single stance empty handed skill pencak silat between the whole training method and in half training method, where the whole training method is better than the half of training methods to single stance empty handed skill for pencak silat in beginner athletes (10-12 years old). Keywords: methods, training, single stance skill, beginner athletes

Abstract

The Relation Between Arm Blasting Power, Waist Flexibility, And Achievement Motivation To The Skill Of  Javelin Throw At University Serambi Mekah Banda Aceh 2013. The goal of this research is to understand the relation between arm blasting power, waist flexibility, and achievement motivation to the skill of javelin throw. This research was conducted at University serambi mekkah Banda Aceh. The respondent in this research is 30 people.This  research is  using survey method  with  co  relational  technique relation between independent variables and dependent variables. The instrument research of arm blasting power is using softball throw and for waist flexibility is using flexiometre and questioner for achievement motivation. For the skill of javelin throw is using a description which is developed by the researcher.Outcome research (1) there is a significant relation between arm blasting power to the skill of javelin throw at rx 1y= 0,738 and contribution of arm blasting power to the skill of javelin throw at 54.40 % (2) There is a significant relation between waist flexibility to the skill of javelin throw at rx2y= 0.535 and contribution of waist flexibility to the skill of javelin throw at 28.70% (3) there is a significant relation between achievement motivation to the skill of javelin throw at rx3y=0.552 and contribution of achievement motivation to the skill of javelin throw at 30.50 % (4) there is a relation between arm blasting power, waist flexibility and achievement motivation to the skill of javelin throw at rx123y=0.707 and contribution of arm blasting power, waist flexibility, and achievement motivation to the skill of javelin throw at 70.70%. Keywords: arm blasting power, waist flexibility, achievement motivation, and skill of javelin throw
