Al-Isyraq: Jurnal Bimbingan, Penyuluhan, dan Konseling Islam is a scientific journal, serves as a forum for publishing the original research articles related to Islamic guidance and counseling. The bulletin encompasses research articles, original research report, reviews, short communications and scientific commentaries in Islamic guidance and counseling including: managing of guidance and counseling. Assessment in counseling, Islamic counseling, Islamic theraphy, career development, personal and social development and academic development. All papers submitted to the journal should be written in English or Indonesian. The work should not have been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.

Abstract

Social anxiety is a condition which can result guilty feeling, afraid of making mistakes, low self-confidence, and avoiding negative views of others. Introvert students are often thought as a closed personality in social interaction. This study aims to identify the relationship between introvert personality and social anxiety in Islamic State Institute of Palangka Raya (IAIN) students. This type of research is corelational quantitative. Respondents involved in this study were 195 people. The 2017 generation of IAIN Palangka Raya students was considered homogeneous, thus using simple random sampling technique. The questionnaire used is an EPI scale and the SAS-A scale. The results showed that 99 students from four faculties have introvert personality consisting of 21 male and 78 female students. Students with introvert personality experienced social anxiety in the lower category consisted of 6 respondents (6.1%), the medium category 60 (60,6%) and the high category 33 (33.3%). The relationship between introvert personality and social anxiety obtained a correlation coefficient of -0.293 which in the low category. The value of rcount is higher than rtable (-0.293>-0.198). The significance value of 0.003 is smaller than 0.05 (0.003 <0.05). The (-) sign before the correlation number indicates non-directional correlation. Thus there is a significant negative correlation between introvert personality and social anxiety in IAIN Palangka Raya students.

Abstract

Various surveys and studies show that the online learning process makes some students experience a decreased enthusiasm for learning. To foster students' enthusiasm for learning, of course it is influenced by many things, one of which is through counseling guidance services. So, this study aims to see how counseling guidance efforts to foster the enthusiasm of primary school students' learning in the online learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study, the research subject is the party providing counseling guidance services at SD Martadah Baru, object of this research is how the counseling guidance models and techniques are used in an effort to foster learning enthusiasm for primary school students. The results of this study indicate that in an effort to foster students' enthusiasm for learning, counselors use a behavior counseling model with modeling and storytelling techniques. Then also carry out education or some kind of providing understanding to parents of students, related to their very important role in the online learning process, such as accompanying, supervising, supporting and facilitating children when learning activities from home. Behaviorism is a theory to shape behavior, which can be used to achieve certain goals or targets, such as growing students' enthusiasm and motivation to learn. Modeling techniques can change students' behavior, attitudes and characteristics into enthusiasm for learning because they are motivated by their role models. Storytelling techniques can be used to foster students' enthusiasm for learning, because it is in accordance with their character who was in a fantasy period.

Abstract

Functional Islamic Religious Extension (PAIF) and Honorary Islamic Religious Extension (PAH) are expected to have high motivation in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. This study aims to analyze the level of motivation of the PAIF and PAH, and to analyze the factors related to the motivation of the Islamic Religious Instructors. This study uses a quantitative approach with survei methods The number of samples is 65 people who are determined using the Slovin formula from a population of 184 people. Data collection uses observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Then the data is analyzed using descriptive analysis (frequency distribution and percentage) and inferential analysis. (Spearman rank correlation). The results of this study indicate that: (1) the majority of PAIF and PAH motivation levels are low. However, PAH's motivation tends to be better than PAIF's motivation in carrying out its main duties and functions; (2) the factors that are moderately related to motivation are informative support. Then the factors that are weakly related to motivation it is instrumental support and reward support. The factors that are closely related to motivation are emotional support, age, sex, education level, years of service, and the position of the assisted group.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the discipline of praying fardhu prayers for junior high school students who are still low. Modeling technique is one of the techniques in group guidance that applies learning steps by imitating and utilizing group dynamics to be led by researchers. The purpose of this research is to 1) find out whether there is an increase in worship discipline before and after being given the modeling technique, 2) find out whether there is a difference in worship discipline before and after being given the modeling technique. The researcher used a pre-experimental quantitative approach with an intact group comparison design. The population in this research is junior high school students in Turi Village, totaling 20 students, while the sample is 14 junior high school students who have low and very low worship discipline categories, with the division of 7 students for the experimental class and 7 students for the control class. Hypothesis testing using paired sample t-test and n-gain score test. The results obtained are sig. (2 tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, and the experimental group's mean value is -69.286, the control group is known to have -2,000 mean value. The results of the n-gain score test in the experimental group obtained an average value of 67%, for the control group the average value was 2%. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, the mean value of the experimental group is higher than the mean value of the control group. So it can be said that the modeling technique is effective in improving the worship discipline of junior high school students in Turi Village.

Abstract

Currently the development of technology causes the development of community communication patterns with the media in the community. Social media is often used to brand or promote the products they sell. In addition to promoting products, many people also carry out personal branding activities. This personal branding activity is often found among teenagers. However, in doing personal branding, many teenagers experience a lack of self-confidence, feel inferior and close themselves off. For this reason, the strategy used to improve personal branding in adolescents is through cognitive behavior therapy. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of cognitive behavior therapy in improving personal branding in adolescents. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature review approach as the research method. The results of the study indicate that cognitive behavior therapy can be used to improve personal branding in adolescents.
