PT. Dalwa Anugrah Hasaniyah's water production still relies on human power to carry out its production activities. At PT. Dalwa Anugrah Hasaniyah has a section for producing mineral water which is processed manually in a bending and standing position. Activities in the bottle washing section to the machine are (1) inserting labels into bottles, (2) lifting bottles containing water into cartons, and (3) moving cartons containing mineral water to pallets. The activities carried out by workers have a high risk and cause complaints of pain. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to carry out work posture analysis to assess and evaluate worker posture. Based on the results of the Nordic Body Map questionnaire, workers experienced complaints in the waist, spine and secondary areas. The REBA assessment results show the first activity with a score of 6, meaning the activity has a moderate risk of musculoskeletal disorders so improvements need to be made as soon as possible. Meanwhile, the second and third activities have scores of 10 and 11 respectively, which means that these two activities have risks that need immediate action for further investigation and changes.

Cement, as one of the ingredients in making mortar, has a significant impact on the environment. As an alternative to the use of cement, carbide waste can be used as a substitute for cement. Carbide waste is a by-product of the welding industry in the form of a grayish solid. One of the contents of carbide waste is CaO, CaO itself is one of the contents of cement. The CaO element has potential in making mortar and can increase compressive strength. This study aims to analyze the impact of adding carbide waste as a partial substitute for cement to the mortar mixture. In this study, the percentage of carbide waste addition as a cement substitute was 0%, 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, and 10%. This study aims to determine the optimum percentage of the mortar mixture with the addition of carbide waste. The research method used includes laboratory testing of the mortar mixture with varying levels of carbide waste to analyze the compressive strength. The results of this study concluded that the most optimum mortar compressive strength is at a percentage of 7.5% with a compressive strength of 29,430 MPa. However, at a percentage above 7.5% the compressive strength of the mortar decreased.

The increasing domestic demand for coal necessitates greater efficiency in logistics systems and supply chains, particularly for mining companies such as PT. Mahakam. This study aims to design a queue system simulation model to optimize the company’s logistics performance by applying queueing theory and utilizing the ARENA simulation software. The research evaluates key variables such as waiting time, queue length, and the utilization rate of unloading facilities, in an effort to address demurrage issues arising from logistical inefficiencies. A mixed-method approach combining quantitative and qualitative data analysis was employed, using both primary and secondary data collected from PT. Mahakam’s logistics operations between January and June 2024. Simulation results indicate that logistics effectiveness can be improved through adjustments in the number of operators, enhancement of unloading equipment, and more structured management of the distribution flow. This research is expected to serve as a foundation for developing simulation-based logistics models in the coal industry and to contribute to the practical application of queueing theory in industrial settings.

Flowing concrete, in accordance with ASTM C 1017 is defined as concrete with a slump flow value greater than 19 cm. However, the use of flowing concrete also presents several challenges, particularly in terms of workability and the need for environmentally friendly materials. Various studies have been conducted on the use of substitute or additive materials in concrete mixtures. This study focuses on flowing concrete mixed with Petung bamboo fibers (Dendrocalamus Asper) to determine the effect of varying bamboo fiber percentages on the slump flow value. The study utilizes Petung bamboo fibers as an additive material. The bamboo fibers, cut into lengths of 5 cm and evenly distributed, were mixed into the flowing concrete. The fiber content variations used were 0%, 3%, 3.5%, 4%, and 4.5%, with a superplasticizer (SP) dosage of 1.5% of the cement weight. The slump flow test results indicate that the higher the percentage of bamboo fiber added, the lower the slump flow value.
