Abstract

This paper tries to model agile supply chain management performance indicators in the palm oil industry. The interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM) method is used to find the relationship between these indicators. The ISM stages begin with identifying indicators, compiling contextual relationships, compiling reachability matrices, compiling level partitions, compiling digraphs, and compiling ISM models. Then MICMAC analysis is used to group each of these indicators into four categories based on their driving power and dependence power. In this study, 16 hands of agile supply chain management in the palm oil industry were obtained, of which the four-level ISM  model could be constructed. Two indicators are at level 4, six hands are at level 3, three indicators are at level 2, and five indicators are at level 1. Meanwhile, through MICMAC analysis, five indicators are found in the independent indicators category, six hands are in the linkage indicator category, four indicators are included in the dependent indicator category, and one indicator is in the autonomous indicator category. This research can be used by managers in the palm oil industry who want to increase agility in their supply chain. In general, indicators at level 4 can affect indicators at level 3, and so on. So that management can start fixing the indicators at level 4 first. In addition, indicators that have a driving power value in MICMAC analysis can be prioritized to improve their performance.

Abstract

Abstract

XYZ is an electronics company that requires an efficient and timely production process to meet market demand. One way to increase production efficiency is to improve the production line. Currently the company is faced with production problems, namely the existence of unbalanced work groups which have a balance loss value of up to 61%. Therefore, this study tries to solve these problems using the RPW method. The RPW (Ranked Positional Weight) method is a track balancing method by establishing a work station based on the weight of each operation. Where the highest weight becomes the first order in the formation of work stations. From the results of calculations using the RPW, the number of work activity groupings is less, namely as many as 10 work stations. The work station generated using the RPW method has a track efficiency level of 96% with a balance delay value of 4%. This means that the grouping of proposed work activities has a more efficient trajectory balance than the previous grouping of work activities..

Abstract

In the face of competition in the field of Education, universities are required to improve the quality of the learning process. The aspects included in the learning process are practicum activities. In the Industrial Engineering study program, there are several core practicums, one of which is the Integrated Industrial Engineering Practicum. This study aims to determine the quality of current PTIT practicum activities by measuring the level of satisfaction of students who take PTIT courses. The method used in measuring student satisfaction in this paper is the Service quality method (SERVQUAL). The SERVQUAL method is a method that pays attention to 5 dimensions of service quality, namely reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangible. This measurement is carried out to identify student expectations and perceptions from the five dimensions of Service Quality by looking at the gap value that occurs due to the mismatch between student expectations and perceptions. The data processed in this study was questionnaire data from 30 respondents. Before the analysis was carried out, data testing was carried out with validity and reality tests. The results of this study are dimensions that are not in accordance with student expectations, including tangible, assurance, and empathy dimensions, and those that are in accordance with student expectations are dimensions of reliability and responsiveness. Keywords: Practice, SERVQUAL, Students Satisfaction

Abstract

PT. Duwa Atmimuda is a furniture company with metal raw materials. The company has a series of processes involving stakeholders to achieve company goals. Companies need to compile performance indicators and measure them to find out achievement of the company's goals their supply chain performance. Approach that used in assessing supply chain performance is SCOR (Supply chain Operation References) that includes plan, source, make, deliver, and return processes. The initial hierarchical model is adapted to the SCOR, each level is weighted using the AHP. The initial SCOR hierarchical model is adjusted to the company's conditions to measure its supply chain performance. The Snorm De Boer normalization is used to equate the value matrix of measurement indicator from AHP. Then grouping indicators to provide recommendations for improvement using the Traffic Light System (TLS). It was found that the company's performance assessment was 76.68 out of 13 company supply chain performance indicators. The value of supply chain performance is in good condition, but there are 10 performance indicators that still have not reached the maximum target. This is because the company does not have an optimal plan related to the process of material procurement, production, to product delivery, and coordination between stakeholders. PT.

Abstract

The church is a place of worship for Christians. Its presence is expected to provide both physical and spiritual tranquility. To achieve this, church facilities must strive to offer comfort to their users, such as the congregation's prayer benches. However, some of these prayer benches fail to provide sufficient comfort because, historically, church bench designs are relics from the past, dating back to when the church was first established, and did not take comfort into account during their design. This is also the case at the Catholic Church of St. John the Evangelist in Kudus, where the congregation's prayer benches are still the original design from when the church was founded. As a result, there have been several complaints about the discomfort from users. The method used in this study employs an ergonomic approach to redesign the congregation's prayer benches at the Catholic Church of St. John the Evangelist in Kudus. Anthropometric data used to design the prayer benches were gathered from Javanese and Chinese ethnic groups, both male and female. The results of the study yielded a design for the prayer benches at the Catholic Church of St. John the Evangelist in Kudus, with the following dimensions: prayer bench length = 334.96 cm; bench width = 43.80 cm; bench height = 39.2 cm; shoulder rest height = 47.53 cm; and prayer handrest height = 60.17 cm. Another outcome of this study is the implication for the church congregation, which is an increased perception of comfort in the design of the prayer benches through the ergonomic approach.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a manufacturing company that produces cigarettes. There is a workstation that is still done manually, namely the packaging section. Work that is done manually can pose a risk to occupational health and safety. Initial observations show that every day there are workers who are absent due to fatigue and illness. Inappropriate working posture can cause fatigue and health problems. Analysis of the risk level of work posture using the REBA method. The results of the analysis of work posture with REBA showed scores of 5, 10, and 7 for each type of bale packaging work. This score indicates a high level of risk and the need for improvement in work posture. Improvement of work posture in this study was carried out by redesigning ergonomic work facilities with an anthropometry approach. Analysis using the REBA method was also carried out for work posture in the proposed work facility design with simulation. The results of the analysis showed a decrease in risk as indicated by REBA scores of 3, 6, and 5 for each type of bale packaging work.
