Kepariwisataan: Jurnal Ilmiah merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang memuat artikel atau naskah yang berorientasi pada bidang kepariwisataan, dimana naskah atau artikel tersebut belum pernah dipublikasikan di media lain atau sedang dikirim ke penerbit lain. Artikel atau naskah yang dipublikasikan adalah hasil penelitian atau pendampingan/ konseptual atau studi pustaka namun bersifat obyektif dan sistematis yang ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia atau bahasa Inggris yang standar dan baku (bisa dipahami). Artikel atau naskah diterbitkan dalam bentuk cetak dan online. Untuk versi online, Kepariwisataan: Jurnal Ilmiah sudah terindeks Google Schoolar dan Garuda. Kepariwisataan: Jurnal Ilmiah pertama kali terbit pada bulan Januari 2007 dan diterbitkan dalam 3 (tiga) edisi setiap tahunnya, yaitu diterbitkan setiap bulan Januari, Mei dan September.

Marketing Planning is essential to ensure that business activities generate profits. Segmentation and database implementation is one of the strategies that can be implemented in various business sectors, including education. Creating good graduates will affect the quality of management in the industrial world. Besides that, knowing the interests and preferences of prospective students is essential to produce graduates who meet expectations. This study aims to create a role model for developing superior and quality human resources in tourism. In addition, this study aims to determine the benefits students seek from Higher Education products. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research design emphasising the interaction between researchers and respondents. Data collection in this study used interview techniques and was distributed via Google form to 255 STIPRAM students. The results of segment mapping and the benefits sought by students were obtained based on the research conducted. Tourism-based universities, such as STIPRAM, can position themselves as the top choice universities. Further research could focus on the reasons and the extent of the benefits students seek.

The abundant cultural, historical, and natural wealth make Indonesia a special country. Along with the existing wealth, the existing potential can be packaged into educational-based tourist destinations. This research was conducted to determine the urgency of educational tourism destinations supporting sustainable tourism in Indonesia. This research was conducted using qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are carried out using secondary data in the form of library research. The results obtained in this study indicate that the urgency of developing educational tourism destinations in Indonesia is very important. Indonesia has abundant cultural, historical, and natural wealth, so educational tourist destinations can be a means of introducing Indonesian culture, history, and natural beauty to both local and foreign tourists. Educational tourism can help achieve sustainable tourism by focusing on educational and learning aspects as well as promoting environmentally friendly activities and products. Therefore, the urgency of educational tourism destinations is very important and needs to be supported and developed properly.

AbstractBefore the outbreak of the Pandemic Covid-19, together with a better economic and political relationship between Indonesia and Japan, the number of Indonesian visitors to Japan for several different purposes has significantly increased and vice versa. It has opened a bigger opportunity for the development of cultural understanding to each other through more intensive direct encounters and people-to-people direct communication, both in Japan and Indonesia. The article focuses on describing the image of contemporary Japan from the point of view of the Indonesian visiting Japan. Employing a qualitative approach through serial fieldwork in Hokkaido and Tokyo, research findings show that witnessing the daily behavior of the Japanese in their home country and directly interacting with the host community through tourism grounds have shaped a new better image of contemporary Japan and the Japanese. It proves the role of tourism in increasing the better cultural understanding between two different cultural groups, including those inheriting a bitter memory from a particular conflict in the past. AbstrakSebelum merebaknya Pandemi Covid-19, seiring dengan hubungan politik serta ekonomi yang lebih baik antara Indonesia dengan Jepang, jumlah kunjungan dari Indonesia ke Jepang untuk berbagai tujuan meningkat secara signifikan, begitu pula sebaliknya, dari Jepang ke Indonesia. Hal ini telah membuka kesempatan untuk terbentuknya suatu pemahaman budaya yang lebih baik diantara satu sama lain sebagai hasil dari interaksi langsung yang terjadi, baik di Jepang maupun di Indonesia. Artikel ini berfokus untuk menggambarkan bagaimana citra Jepang kontemporer dari orang Indonesia yang berkunjung ke Jepang. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui penelitian lapangan di Hokkaido dan Tokyo, temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melihat perilaku sehari-hari orang Jepang di negara asalnya serta berinteraksi langsung khususnya melalui berbagai kegiatan yang terkait pariwisata dengan tuan rumah telah membentuk citra yang lebih baik tentang Jepang dan orang Jepang di masa kini. Hal ini membuktikanbagaimana peran penting pariwisata dalam meningkatkan pemahaman budaya yang lebih baik antara dua kelompok budaya yang berbeda, termasuk mereka yang mewarisi konflik di masa lalu.

Digital tourism is a new approach to the tourism experience that provides digital support to tourists before, during, and after tourism activities. This support allows tourists to pour back all of their experiences of traveling in the real world into the digital dimension, blurring the boundaries between tourism and gaming. The purpose of this study is to explore the meaning of digital tourism and provide a research agenda for digital tourism. The study's results reveal the latest developments in digital tourism research, which focus on understanding the impact of digital technology on the tourism industry and identifying trends and opportunities for the tourism business. One of the research objectives is to investigate how digital tourism experiences can attract tourists to visit tourist sites, allowing operators and stakeholders of tourist sites to use new ways to enhance the digital tourism experience. The study also examines the trends and research objectives of digital tourism over the last three decades. The integration of new technologies in the tourism sector has made digital tourism a powerful and economically relevant sector. The internet and digital solutions, in general, are becoming increasingly relevant and widespread in this sector. The study's research agenda aims to provide insights to enhance the digital tourism experience and identify new opportunities for the tourism industry. The study's findings can be used by tourism operators and stakeholders to develop new strategies and technologies to enhance the digital tourism experience.

This study describes the effect of the components of leisure benefit consisting of physical benefit, psychological benefit and social benefit on tourist satisfaction at Taman Wisata Alam Angke Kapuk, North Jakarta. This research uses explanative quantitative methods. The research population are tourists aged over 17 years old and have visited Taman Wisata Alam Angke Kapuk at least once from 2018 to 2022 with a sample of 400 respondents. Data analysis using statistic descriptive analysis method using IBM SPSS 25 software to test the established hypothesis. Through analysis and discussion, this study found that each component of leisure benefit (physical benefit, psychological benefit and social benefit) has a positive and significant effect on tourist satisfaction and leisure benefit have a positive and significant effect on tourist satisfaction by 75%.

This article explains about the potential to develop as an attraction in East Sebuai Beach tourism in Kumai District, West Kotawaringin Regency, Central Kalimantan. Location quotient and quantitative SWOT are based on analytical method. The results of the LQ and DLQ analysis are tourism sector in the Kotawaringin Barat is a non-base sector, so there is still opportunity for development and preservation. The effort to develop the East Sebuai Beach uses an aggresive strategy for development as evidenced by the result on matrix analysis SWOT formula shows an Internal Factor Analysis Strategy value of 0,06 and an External Factor Analysis Strategy value of 0,41, so that it is in first Quadrant. The SWOT matrix results show that a strength – opportunity value with a high yield of 4,06, so that factor has greatest value compared to the other factors. The appropriate East Sebuai Beach development strategy is expected to be a better tourism development plan in the future.

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of CHSE in Borobudur Temple, to determine the level of visitor satisfaction when visiting a CHSE-certified Tourist Attraction, and to determine visitor confidence in CHSE certification at Borobudur Temple. The method used is a mixed method with Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The data technique used observation, questionnaires and interviews with managers. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of CHSE at Borobudur Temple with its available management, checking the temperature before entering the area, implementing non-cash payments, implementing non-cash payments, warning warnings, waste management systems, and maintaining cleanliness with a zoning system. The level of visitor satisfaction with the CHSE certification reached 92.76 which is in line with expectations and based on the analysis of the Important Performance Analysis chart and 51% of respondents said CHSE is very important in a visit to a tourist attraction.

AbstrakPenelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana daya tarik dan fasilitas berpengaruh terhadap minat kunjung wisatawan ke Pos Bloc yang berlokasi di Pasar Baru, Jakarta Pusat serta memberikan masukan bagi pengelola sebagai bahan pertimbangan untuk mencari tahu daya tarik apa yang dapat dikembangkan dikemudian hari dan untuk mempertahankan serta meningkatkan fasilitas yang sudah ada agar tetap terawat dan terjaga. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuisioner sebanyak 100 sampel. Pertama, hasil penelitian menunjukan daya tarik memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berkunjung secara parsial. Kedua fasilitas memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berkunjung secara parsial. Ketiga, daya tarik dan fasilitas secara simultan memiliki pengaruh yang yang positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berkunjung wisatawan ke Pos Bloc, Pasar Baru, Jakarta Pusat. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, daya tarik maupun fasilitas memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berkunjung baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Oleh sebab itu, Pos Bloc, Pasar Baru harus mempertahankan daya tarik dan fasilitas yang telah dimiliki. AbstractThis study aims to determine how attractions and facilities affect tourist interest in visiting Pos Bloc located in Pasar Baru, Central Jakarta and provide input for managers as a consideration to find out what attractions can be developed in the future and to maintain and improve existing facilities so that they are maintained and maintained. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection through a questionnaire of 100 samples. First, the results showed that attractiveness has a positive and significant effect on visiting interest partially. Second, facilities have a positive and significant effect on interest in visiting partially. Third, the attractiveness and facilities simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on tourist interest in visiting Pos Bloc, Pasar Baru, Central Jakarta. The conclusion of this study is that attractiveness and facilities have a positive and significant influence on visiting interest both partially and simultaneously. Therefore, Pos Bloc, Pasar Baru must maintain the attractions and facilities that it already has.

Promthep Cape is one of the well known nature tourist attractions in Phuket, Thailand. One of its attractions offers the beauty of nature that tourists can enjoy, especially during sunset. Another attraction is the existence of a temple of which tourists can use to make offerings to Lord Brahma. Regardles these and many more interesting attractions, Prompthep Cape is still laking of information regarding the explanation of those attractions. Most visitors could not get the narratives about the history, the culture, and other required narratives of Promthep Cape as a popular nature tourism. This will lead to the decrease of tourism experience when visiting Prompthep Cape. One source of information that tourists can get is from a tour guide who accompanies them when visiting Promthep Cape. This study tries to answer the question why a tour guide is needed to improve the experience of tourists visiting Promthep Cape, and what are the roles of the tour guide in improving the tourism experience visiting Prompthep Cape. The method used is descriptive qualitative by utilizing primary data from observations and interviews, as well as secondary data in the form of related documents. The data is then reduced, interpreted, and analyzed. Results show that a tour guide has 4 roles in improving the experience of tourists visiting Promthep Cape, namely: 1) to increase the tourist knowledge of the destination, 2) to give more meaning in traveling, 3) to provide a sense of security and comfort to tourists, and 4) to act as a translator for foreign tourists, especially those with language limitations.

AbstractThe rapid development of modern times has intensified competition, particularly in the tourism sector. Consequently, there is a pressing need for effective marketing efforts to disseminate information about tourist attractions. This study aims to analyze the impact of marketing media on tourist interest in Galaxy Waterpark. Utilizing quantitative methods, data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 30 respondents who had visited the attraction. The variables analyzed include content effectiveness, frequency of delivery, and visual appeal of the marketing media. The results from the simple linear regression analysis indicate that marketing media significantly influences tourist interest. It has been demonstrated that effective marketing media can substantially enhance tourist interest. This research underscores the importance of strategic marketing approaches to attract more visitors to Galaxy Waterpark and provides recommendations for destination managers on optimizing their marketing strategies to increase attendance.Keywords: Galaxy Waterpark; Marketing Media; Tourist InterestAbstrakPesatnya perkembangan zaman menciptakan persaiangan khususnya disektor pariwisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh media pemasaran terhadap minat kunjung wisatawan di Galaxy Waterpark. Dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif, data diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 30 responden yang telah mengunjungi destinasi wisata tersebut. Variabel yang dianalisis meliputi efektivitas konten, frekuensi penyampaian, dan daya tarik visual dari media pemasaran. Hasil analisis regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan bahwa media pemasaran memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap minat kunjung wisatawan. Media pemasaran terbukti mampu meningkatkan minat kunjung wisatawan secara signifikan. Penelitian menggarisbawahi pentingnya strategi pemasaran yang efektif untuk menarik lebih banyak wisatawan ke Galaxy Waterpark serta memberikan rekomendasi bagi pengelola destinasi wisata dalam mengoptimalkan strategi pemasaran mereka guna meningkatkan kunjungan ke Galaxy Waterpark.Kata Kunci: Galaxy Waterpark; Media Pemasaran; Minat Kunjung Wisatawan
