Abstract

The teacher is very crucial in a school with his/her competence. Especially, the teacher of tasks and roles can not be replaced even in today’s technological era. Thus, the teacher must have a good self-learning that supports the competence and capacity as a teacher. Work culture can affect how a person's work. This work of people can not be separated from his/her capacity and competence. good working culture and ugly not be separated from one's  self-learning.In this study was to investigate the effect of Self-Learning teacher's on Work Culture. The data were collected through participant observation using questionnaire with five options following Likert’s Scale 1-5. The participants were 74 of teachers from 7 different vocational schools in Palangka Raya city. Using testing path analysis test to indicated the effect of Self-Learning Teachers’ on Work Culture. Therefore, the self-learning teacher’s to be important to increase student skills in her/his competence and mental of character that would affect on work culture.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) know the description of the competence of the supervisor of madrasah (2) know the description of the compliance adherence level of the madrasah supervisor (3) know the performance of the madrasah supervisor on the madrasah and (4) develop the Supervisor’s competency of madrasah by adding competence of Islamic education in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi. This research is a comparative causal research (Causal-Comparative Research) with the unit of analysis studied is the supervisor of madrasah located in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi. This study included research survey using questionnaire and in-depth interview with a total sample of 150 madrasah supervisors. The test equipment used in this study uses the classical assumption test which includes normality test, multicolonierity test, heteroscedasticity test and linearity test. The method of data analysis used is simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. The result of this research shows that based on the result of path analysis can be obtained the effect of inter-variables as follows: there is a positive influence of supervisor's compliance and competence to supervisor's performance.

Abstract

Transformational leadership supports higher education to frame their attitudes to shift their university forward. It has four leader higher education characteristics. Of these, idealized influence is defined as leader’s behavior and the follower’s attributions about the leader. Inspirational motivation refers to the ways by which transformational leaders motivate and inspire those around them. Individualized consideration represents the leader’s continuing effort to treat each individual as a special person and act as a mentor; who attempts to develop their potential. Finally, intellectual stimulation represents the leader’s higher education effort to stimulate followers to be innovative and creative to define problems and approach them in new ways. It is considered that who demonstrate these leader higher education characteristics of transformational leadership have effects on satisfaction leader University UII Yogyakarta and better performance at university. Therefore, this study purposes to discover the level of transformational leadership that higher education demonstrate at higher education during their administrative practices on daily basis. Results reveal that university demonstrate high level of characteristics of transformational leadership in terms of idealized influence, inspirational motivation, individualized consideration and intellectual stimulation behaviors.

Abstract

This research aimed to obtain information on: Performance of teachers, Implementation of supervision and significant influence between the implementation of the supervision to the teachers performance at SMKN Business and Management in Padang. The hypothesis of this research is the implementation of academic supervision significantly affect to the teachers performance. The population this research are 125 people all of teachers. Samples 76 people were taken using Random Sampling. Instrument of research using questionnaire with Likert scale models that have been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using correlation and simple regression techniques with the help of statistical program SPSS version 20.0 IBMM. The results showed that: the performance of teachers enough category in the level of achievement of 71.49%. Implementation of supervision by the principal enough category in the level of achievement of 69.14% and Implementation of supervision by the principal positive effect on the performance of teachers at SMK Business and  Management Group in Padang City of 9.3

Abstract

Student are less actively involved event tend to be passive in the classroom of learning process in process of frequent lecturer dominant, students spent more time waiting for a grain of lecturers rather than seek and find their own knowledge, skills and attitudes they need, if the learning conditions that own amximize the role and involvement lecturers as well as minimizing the role and involvement of students it occurs in higher education that resulted learning becomes monotonous. Rigidity is learning to give birth mindset learners who do not thrive, is limited, and even hamper the creativity of student thinking. This study aims to develop ideas based learning management in improving, the creativity of thinking, by applying the four main pillars, namely: 1) learn to know something, 2) learn to understand something, 3) learn to actualize something, and 4) studying the creation of something. The method used in tis research is the method of research and development is commonly abbreviated (R D). As for knowing improvement of student learning outcomes using the formula Pm = P2-P1. This research instrument synergy between faculty and students in implementing the four main pillars of ideas based learning management indicators: a) mastery and getted of the material, b) understanding and deepening of the material, c) actualize material, d) the creation of matter.   The results showed a significant increase applied before and after the learning management based on the idea of three classes the first semester of the 2014/2015 academic year student of management education FIP Teachers' Training College Mataram taken at random, while the sample in this study amounted to 150 students with details as follow : 50 students of the third semester, 50 students and 50 students of the fifth semester VII semester. With an average increase of 6.42 %, with details as follows: third semester, an increase of 6.5 %, the fifth semester increased by 6.74% while the seventh semester an increase of 6.02%.

Abstract

The research on the implementation of Operational Aid to School Program (In Indonesian language is abbreviated as BOS) usage policy in Indonesia is aimed to know the description related to the central government program to provide funding for non personnel operating expenses for primary and secondary education units. The method used in this research is qualitative, data collection technique using Focus Group Discussion, interview, observation and documentation. Informants are drawn from the element of the school, the elements of the school committee, the element of the School Board, the element of the Education Office. Submission of Operational Aid to School Program has been right target, component designation and the mechanism is clear although still found the lack of accuracy in its use, because it is still possible because there are still not really understand it. It is certainly necessary to improve the quality and quantity side of socialization. In addition, controls and consents are still underway to improve their effectiveness. It is also realized that the use of Operational Aid to School Program has an impact on the quality of education. At the moment the negative impacts appear to be as soon as possible to find the right solution and keep in mind the tips/strategies to handle it.
