Abstract

System standardization in testing and monitoring agricultural machinery an attempt to anticipate the increasing use of agricultural  machinerywho do not meet the technical and economical feasibility standards. At this time there are many agricultural  machinery  from foreign and domestic untested and not in accordance with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI). Agricultural Machinery Quality Testing Center (BPMA) is one organization that conducts testing agriculture machinery But since the beginning of the current set up has never conducted a survey on customer satisfaction. Yet over time, occurs complaints submitted by businesses agricultural  machinery directed to the BPMA. This research examines the relationship between service quality, satisfaction and loyalty businesses that apply for testing equipment and agricultural machinery  in the Ministry of Agriculture. Respondents were used  in this study are the businesses that produce agricultural  machinery as 88 respondents, that all respondents should be the following testing procedures from the beginning until the publication of the report of test results. Based on the results if the data using SEM-based variantis found that the quality of service (tangible, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy) a significant effect on customer satisfaction, and satisfaction significantly influence loyalty.

Abstract

Jatigede Dam development that aims to tackle the water problems that exist in West Java of great importance.Positive impact arising from development of this Dam is rising shallow groundwater at the dug wells population. To prove this, needs to be monitoring of shallow groundwater in the area around the pool area will Jatigede Dam.This monitoring has been ongoing since the year 2008 up to this time, either during the rainy season and dryseason. This study aims to determine fluctuation of shallow groundwater in the wet season and dry before the damflooded, while also to know the flow of shallow groundwater through contour mapping shallow groundwater. Theresults obtained in the form of shallow ground water level fluctuations from 2008 through 2011, and map the flowof groundwater. Advance groundwater monitoring will be carried out until the reservoir is filled with water thatplanned in 2013.

Abstract

Van Der Wijck irrigation system was applied in Sleman and Bantul district of the Yogyakarta Special Province that has a 3,426.57 ha area. Van Der Wijck is a multipurpose irrigation system because water is used not only for growing crops, but also for sugarcane plantation and fi sh pond. Because the priority service is not clearly defi ned, confl icts among water users are easily occur. The aims of the study were (i) to compute and to predict the water availability both from rainfall and river fl ow, and (ii) to determine the use of the water in order to obtain optimum area of fi sh pond, sugarcane plantation, and other crops passed on discharge availability, seasonal water require-ment, and farm profi t. The results showed that the optimum areas for fi sh pond 17.2 ha and rice fi eld 3,309.57, 2,409.57, and 1,909.57 ha for planting season I, II, and III, respectively. The optimum areas for sugarcane are 35 ha, which is exchangeable with rice area. The optimum area of upland crops for planting season I, II, and III are 100, 1,000, and 200 ha, respectively.

Abstract

Imported soybean as raw material for making tempe was preferred than local soybean due to better qualities in colour and uniform seed size. This study was carried out to evaluate the physical, chemical and organoleptic properties of tempe derived from both local and imported soybean. Five local soybean varieties and an imported soybean were examined in this research. This study consisted of two steps: (1) making of the tempe from various of soybean variety; (2) characterizing the tempe such as the physical properties (density, texture, pH, yield), chemical properties (water content, ash content, protein, fat, carbohydrate), and organoleptic properties (colour, smell, flavour, preference). The result showed that tempe derived from local soybean had a better quality than imported soybean tempe for its physical, chemical and organoleptic properties. Galunggung tempe had the highest yield and Anjasmara tempe had the highest protein content. Based on organoleptic properties, it shows that Bromo tempe had the highest preference value.

Abstract

Abstract

The aim of this study is to see the divorce between a couple without court process decision as a crucial issue in Indonesian Marriage Act No. 1/1974. In an article 39 of the Marriage Act No. 1/1974 paragraph (1) mentioned:Divorce can only be done in front of a competence court and through the trial court after the Court tried and failed to reconcile the two sides. Even though Indonesian marriage act had reformed as a unity handbook for all Indonesian people, but in fact, its presence has not been received as positive response in terms of implementation and practice. For the majority of Malay community in the District of Tanjung Pura, the divorce can only be done in front of the judge and through the trial, as stated in article 39 of the Marriage, is relatively large wedge. Many factors causing its objections are: Fiqh oriented, internal judiciary, lack of legal awareness, and many factors related to facilities and infrastructures.

Abstract

This research is trying to explain Indonesian empirical evidence about minimum wage increasing effecttowards unemployment. Minimum wage increasing should become a benefit for labour force. Unfortunately, macroeconomicstheory stated that the effect of minimum wage increasing has positif correlation with labour surplus.Research method that will be used in this paper is simple regression by using panel data. The result of this researchis increasing minimum wage will be significantly affect unemployment for period 1992–2010, in Indonesia. Forevery 10% minimum wage increasing will affect unemployment about 11,35% positively. This research also findthat for every province there will be a different unemployment increasing percentage possibly depends on cost ofproduction, labour surplus, and provincial GDP.

Abstract

Golden cyst nematode (GCN/Globodera rostochiensis) is a new potato parasitic nematodes found in Indonesia in 2003 and caused great economic losses more than 70% of the production. Due to the problem caused by chemically control (resistancy, killed non target organisms, and environment pollution) development of alternative control measures is a great importance i.g. microbial control. The purpose of this research was to find chitinolytic and proteolytic actinomycetes for controling eggshell nematode which bears vitelin (protein) and chitin. The result found 21 actinomycetes isolates with ratio chitinolytic and proteolytic activities more than 3.0 and among of seven isolates were chitinolytic, 11 isolates were proteolytic and three isolates had double enzyme activities. Seven selected isolates were examined on their chitinase and protease specific activities and ability to degrade nematode eggs. The results showed three isolates had chitinase activity more than 200 IU/mg, four isolates had protease activity more than 300 IU/mg. Results of the bioassay test using crude enzyme on the GCN eggs found that three isolates were able to damage eggs more than 90%. The three isolates can be applied as an agent for biocontrol of GCN in the future.
