Abstract

This study was made based on the results of previous mini research, aims to determine Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara college students in  Medan interest of saving Islamic bank in Medan. This research is descriptive quantitative research using primary data. The variables used in this research consisted of a bank's reputation, confidence, and location as the independent variable and the interest of saving the student as the dependent variable. Sampling technique is done by interview35 college students of Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara in Medan as a sample. The Methods of data collection use a self administrated survey, by giving questionnaires. The method used in this research is the descriptive statistical analysis with SPSS software. Based on the results of analysis, it was found that Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara college students' interest in saving in Islamic banks in Medan is still low. Based on the data obtained it is known that bank reputation variables, beliefs, and location affect student interest in the Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara decided to save the Islamic bank in Medan. The main obstacle that affects Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara college students' interest to save their money in Islamic banks is the location away from home.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the decisions of customers using ATMs and mobile banking in the concept of Islamic religiosity at PT. Bank Sumut Syariah. This type of research is qualitative research, with research subjects, namely customers and banks as the main information. Religiosity refers more to the quality aspects of religious people. Religion and religiosity support each other and complement each other because they are both logical consequences of human life that has two poles, namely the pole of personal life and the pole of togetherness in society. Customers and banks both benefit from mobile banking and ATM services. Customers will get banking information quickly, effectively and efficiently, and can reduce customer waiting times in conducting banking transactions. While for the bank itself, products with information technology make it easier for them to reduce the work of employees, especially tellers and or customer service.

Abstract

Pawn is one type of debt-receivable agreement and pawnshop itself is a financial institution, which also encourages the survival of the Sharia Economy. The legitimacy of this pawn practice has existed since the time of the Prophet Muhammad, where the Prophet Muhammad himself carried out this practice. This study aims to analyze Islamic law on the pawn system in sharia pawnshops; the pillars that must be fulfilled if partnering with sharia pawnshops; pawn system in sharia pawnshops; and the factors that influence interest in pawnshops in sharia pawnshops. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with a literature study approach that comes from books, literature, theses, and library materials related to the purpose of this research. This literature research was conducted during the 2015-2020 period on 38 published fulltext literature.

Abstract

Research that has been carried out at Indonesian Islamic Banks, the problems that currently arises are that public participation is still very minimal towards Islamic banks. The purpose of this study was to determine the involvement of demographic factors of education level, income and distribution in the decision to become a customer of Bank Syariah Indonesia. In this study using qualitative research methods with data collection starting from the results of interviews, observations and documentation. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be seen that the demographic factor is the level of education. income and distribution have an involvement in determining the decision to become a customer of Bank Syariah Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the problematic financing process of mudharabah products at PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP. Stabat. The type of research used in this research is field research with a qualitative approach. The data used is primary data and secondary data. Data collection is carried out by interviews and documentation. Data analysis is carried out by data reduction, presentation of data (Display data), conclusion drawing and verification data. The results of the study showed that the financing procedure at PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Stabat can be said to be quite long and complicated. Problematic financing is always caused by the debtor's fault. But problematic financing that arises in a financial institution is based on 2 (two) factors, namely internal factors or factors from the financial institution itself that is less selective in providing a financing to its customers, while external factors that come from the customer / debtor itself, either intentionally or unintentionally in fulfilling its obligation to pay installments or the business carried out does not develop.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of product creativity and entrepreneurship skills on the success of the Opak sweet potato business in Pegajahan village. The analysis used in this study is a quantitative and descriptive analysis by taking a sample of 32 small and medium-sized enterprises UMKM in Pegajahan village. The results of this study indicate the effect on the business success of cassava opaque UMKM as indicated by the multiple regression results, namely Y = 1.963 + 0.301X1 + 0.566X2 + e. From the results of the partial test of the product creativity variable on the success of the Opak yam UMKM, the value of tcount = 1.808 1.69 and the variable of entrepreneurial skills on business success obtained the value of tcount = 3.187 1.69, this shows that partially the variables of product creativity and entrepreneurship skills provide a positive and significant influence on the success of the sweet potato opaque business in Pegajahan village. The results of the F test obtained the value of FcountFtable (38.7233.327) with a probability level (0.010.05). The results of the coefficient of determination (R2) obtained a value of 0.728, this means that product creativity and entrepreneurial skills can increase business success by 72.8% and the remaining 27.2% is explained in other variables outside the study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of DBLM socialization on the interest of the Rahuning community to make transactions at Islamic North Sumatra banks. This research is a type of quantitative research using primary data. The population used is the people of Rahuning sub-district, with a total sample of 278 customers. The sample and sampling in this study used the Non-Probability Sampling technique using the accidental sampling method, with a total sample of 74 respondents. The results of the research show that there is significant influence and socialization of DBLM on the public's interest in conducting transactions at Bank Sumut Syariah in Kec. Rahuning can be seen from the tcount value of 3.051 1.666 ttable and a significant value of 0.003 0.05. There is influence and significant Literacy on public interest in conducting transactions at Bank Sumut Syariah in Kec. Rahuning can be seen from the tcount value of 2.163 1.666 ttable and a significant value of 0.034 0.05. The R Square value of 0.229 means that 22.9% of the public's interest in making transactions at Bank Sumut Syariah Kec. Rahuning explained that the influence of DBLM Socialization and Literacy variables and the remaining 77.1% could be explained by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the role of PT. Bank SUMUT Syariah KCP Stabat in developing Small and Medium Enterprises. The research method used in this research is a qualitative research method that is descriptive with an empirical approach. The results of the study explained that the role of PT. Bank SUMUT Syariah KCP Stabat in developing Small and Medium Enterprises is by developing human assets, developing capital assets and developing social assets to Small and Medium Enterprises. The obstacles faced are: lack of public knowledge about PT. Bank SUMUT Syariah KCP Stabat, accustomed to using conventional banks, lack of public attention to usury practices. The solutions carried out are: making advertisements, brochures, stamps and banners, often visiting areas around Stabat District, making customers as partners. The Positive Impact felt by Small and Medium Enterprises helps local communities in developing the economy, the community feels an increase in income, increased production, quality, quality and assets.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative study, to see the effect of mudharabah financing and wadiah savings on profitability, in this case profitability is represented by Retrun On Asset. The results obtained that partially, mudharabah affects Retrun On Asset as seen from the t count t table (8,5111,663) and a significant level smaller than 0.05 (0.0020.05).  Wadiah savings affect ROA  as seen from the t count t table (4,2431,663) and a significant level smaller than 0.05 (0.0030.05).  Meanwhile, simultaneously, mudharabah financing and wadian savings affect Retrun On Asset in Islamic banks in Indonesia, amounting to 82.0%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the financing of the sale and purchase agreement at PT. Bank Muamalat Binjai Branch to customers. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method that is descriptive with an empirical approach. The results showed that the application of buying and selling contracts in the form of financing products at PT. Bank Muamalat Binjai Branch is motor financing, car purchase, electronic goods purchase, business raw material purchase, home renovation material purchase, and house purchase. The process and realization of the financing of the sale and purchase agreement at PT. Bank Muamalat Binjai Branch begins with an application, a survey of files, then continues with a survey of customer feasibility and collateral, then the stage of financing disbursement and the stage of repayment of financing according to the agreement. Distribution of financing for buying and selling contracts to PT. Bank Muamalat Binjai Branch is carried out by implementing the principle of prudence through the 5C aspects, namely Character, Capacity, Condition of Economy, Capital, Collateral, and 7P, namely Personality, Party, Purpose, Prospect, Payment, Profitability, Protection, and plus the 1S aspect, namely Sharia.
