Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of implementing the Number Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning model on students' independent mathematical learning. The urgency of this research is based on the low level of student learning independence, especially in learning mathematics, which is often considered difficult and confusing. To overcome this problem, a learning approach is needed that is able to increase students' initiative, responsibility and self-confidence in learning. This research uses a literature review method by analyzing seven relevant research articles. The selected articles contain empirical findings about the effectiveness of the NHT model in increasing students' learning independence and mathematical learning outcomes. The results of the analysis show that the NHT model is successful in increasing student learning independence through a cooperative learning structure that encourages active interaction and a sense of responsibility within the group. Increased learning independence also has an impact on improving students' critical thinking skills, problem solving, and understanding of mathematical concepts. Apart from that, this model has been proven to be able to increase students' motivation to learn independently and actively. The implication of the results of this research is that the NHT cooperative learning model can be used as an alternative teaching strategy for educators, especially in subjects that require in-depth understanding of concepts such as mathematics. The application of this model not only supports improving student learning outcomes, but also develops important non-academic skills, such as the ability to work together and independence. This research makes a significant contribution to the educational literature and innovative teaching practices.

Abstract

The study uses a direct and indirect influence approach direct and indirect effects using the path analysis method (independent variables, intermediate variables and dependent variables). In this study, variable X is service innovation, variable Y is customer satisfaction and variable Z is customer loyalty. Technique data collection technique with simple random sampling method, namely sampling from the existing population randomly with a sample size of 40 customers / customers through questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques with descriptive statistical analysis and path analysis using the SPSS Ver,-2024 program through questionnaire information collection in the form of questions and statements. Indirect test results shows that service innovation variables have a significant effect on customer satisfaction at PT. Jeneponto Branch Pawnshop with service innovation provided to customers provided to customers, the customers are very well served with the existence of innovative and creative services, flexible service options and different service concepts. Furthermore, directly the effect of service innovation service innovation has a significant effect on customer loyalty at PT. Pengadaian Cabang Jeneponto because with the service innovation that is implemented there are several things especially in the flexible and different services provided then the customers appreciate so much that customer loyalty increases. As well as directly or indirectly showing that the customer satisfaction variable has a significant effect on customer loyalty at PT Jeneponto Branch Pawnshop with the achievement of service innovation, customer satisfaction is fulfilled with customers / customers feeling happy with the services provided, the services provided are as expected, getting easy access to services and past experiences felt in using services that directly increase customer loyalty with customers / customers making regular purchases or repeat purchases, buying between product lines, recommending products to others and showing immunity from the attractiveness of similar products. Thus the customer satisfaction variable has a dominant influence in increasing customer loyalty at PT Jeneponto Branch Pawnshop.

Abstract

The event and decoration industry in Indonesia has experienced significant transformation over the past decade, driven by changing consumer preferences, technological advancements, and growing environmental awareness. As the industry expands and evolves, it faces complex challenges at the intersection of business sustainability, environmental responsibility, and market demands. This qualitative literature review examines these dynamics while focusing on sustainability practices and innovative solutions. This study addresses three key objectives: (1) analyzing operational challenges including environmental sustainability, resource efficiency, and market adaptation; (2) evaluating these challenges' impact on service delivery and customer experience; and (3) developing actionable recommendations for enhancing industry sustainability and innovation. Using a qualitative systematic literature review methodology, the research synthesizes findings from 46 peer-reviewed articles published between 2019-2024, sourced from academic databases including Scopus and Google Scholar . The analysis reveals that the industry faces significant challenges in waste management, sustainable material sourcing, and meeting evolving consumer preferences for eco-friendly services. Key findings highlight the effectiveness of circular economy principles, sustainable design practices, and environmental partnerships in addressing these challenges. The study also identifies how emerging technologies, particularly digital management systems and recycling innovations, can enhance operational efficiency while reducing environmental impact. This research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on sustainable event management practices while providing practical insights for industry stakeholders.

Abstract

As the number of vehicles in Indonesia increases, the need for fuel also increases, creating significant challenges at rural gas stations such as Sungai Bahar Unit V. This research aims to analyze the queuing system at SPBU 2536307, with a focus on the Pertamax line which only has one server. Research data was collected through observations for seven days, recording customer arrivals from 07.00 to 17.00. A quantitative approach using queuing theory, especially the M/M/c model, is used to analyze arrival data, service time, queue length, and service system efficiency. The research results show that the average hourly customer arrival rate ranges from 15.5 to 25.1 vehicles, while the average service time is 2.3 minutes per customer. Queuing system performance analysis reveals the probability of no customers (Pā‚€), the average number of customers in the system (Lā‚›), the average time in the system (Wā‚›), the number of customers in the queue (Lq), and the average waiting time (Wq ). In peak periods such as 07.00–08.00, the queue reaches an average of 22.73 customers with a waiting time of 0.87 hours. These results indicate that service efficiency can be increased by increasing the number of servers or optimizing service time. The implications of this research offer strategic recommendations for gas station managers to reduce queue lengths and increase customer satisfaction. In addition, this study provides a new perspective on queuing systems in rural areas, which have different characteristics and challenges compared to urban areas.

Abstract

Quality education is very important to form superior and characterful Human Resources (HR). One of the main goals of education in Indonesia is to form a Pancasila Student Profile, which is in line with Pancasila as the basis of the country. One of the challenges in education is the low mathematics learning outcomes of students in Indonesia, as reflected in the 2022 PISA survey. For this reason, innovation is needed in learning methods, one of which is through TPACK-based differentiated learning by strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile. This research aims to examine the effect of TPACK-based differentiated learning on students' mathematical problem solving abilities, as well as how strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile can support this goal. This research uses a One Group Pretest-Posttest experimental design. The research sample consisted of 31 class VIII students at SMPN 2 Girsang Sipanganbolon, Simalungun Regency, who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data was collected through mathematics learning outcomes tests before and after treatment, and analyzed using the Richaroon formula (2013). The results showed a significant increase in students' mathematical problem solving abilities, with an average pretest score of 70.47 and posttest 77.81. Testing for normality and homogeneity shows that the data is normally and homogeneously distributed. The t test produced a calculated t value of 28.080, which shows that TPACK-based differentiated learning by strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile is effective in improving students' mathematics learning outcomes. The implication of this research is that this learning method can be applied to improve mathematics learning outcomes while forming student character in accordance with Pancasila values.
