Abstract

Manual management of radio transmitter technical reports leads to recording errors, unstructured data, and inefficient report retrieval. This study aims to develop a web-based transmitter report management system and evaluate its usability using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. The system was designed following the Waterfall development methodology and supports five types of report forms—Program 1, Program 2, Program 3, Program 4, and Stabilizer—each with distinct field structures and technical parameters. Testing was conducted at RRI Manado, involving five transmitter technician respondents who completed task scenarios based on real operational activities, including report creation, report editing, draft saving, and exporting reports to PDF. Evaluation data were collected using the SUS questionnaire, which consists of ten Likert-scale statements, and were analyzed using the standard SUS formula and interpreted with the adjective rating scale. The evaluation results showed an average SUS score of 81 points, which falls into the Good category and is considered Acceptable. Additionally, time efficiency measurements indicated that the system was able to reduce the average report completion time by 93.7% compared to the manual method. Despite differences in report formats, the system’s interface and workflow remain consistent, eliminating the need for users to learn a different process for each report type. This system can be used as a digital solution for transmitter report management at RRI Manado. This study contributes in two ways: first, the availability of an integrated web-based transmitter report management system that can be adopted by similar public broadcasting stations; second, the provision of empirical evidence of the system's usability level through standardized testing, which can serve as a reference for the development of similar systems in the future.

Abstract

The increasing demand for web-based applications capable of handling a large number of concurrent users requires the selection of backend technologies that provide optimal performance and resource efficiency. However, previous studies generally employed different configurations and testing environments, making performance comparisons among backend technologies less objective and difficult to generalize. This study aims to analyze and compare the performance of backend REST APIs developed using Node.js, .NET, and Laravel Octane within a standardized testing environment. The research adopted a quantitative experimental approach using load testing with Grafana K6 by simulating workloads of up to 150 virtual users through HTTP GET requests. The evaluated performance metrics included throughput or requests per second (RPS), response time (latency), error rate, as well as CPU and memory utilization. The results showed that Node.js achieved the best performance with a throughput of 493.93 requests per second and an average latency of 77.43 ms, followed by .NET with a throughput of 324.94 requests per second and a latency of 163.06 ms, while Laravel Octane achieved a throughput of 192.29 requests per second with a latency of 358.62 ms. All backend technologies maintained a 0% error rate throughout the testing process. In terms of resource efficiency, Node.js also demonstrated the lowest CPU and memory utilization compared to .NET and Laravel Octane. These findings indicate that differences in execution models significantly influence throughput, response time, and resource utilization efficiency, providing valuable insights for selecting appropriate backend technologies to develop high-performance and highly scalable web applications.

Abstract

The advancement of digital media increases the risk of exposure to negative content in children’s books, while manual curation in educational institutions is hampered by inefficiencies. This study implements the Boyer-Moore algorithm integrated with Regular Expressions (Regex) to automate text screening based on the quality standards of Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Regulation No. 22 of 2022. This study contributes by providing a Regex integration scheme as a pre-processing component that dynamically normalizes variations in obfuscated text before execution by the Boyer-Moore character-jumping mechanism, an approach that has not been widely explored in regulatory manuscript filtering systems. Test results on 40 documents show that the system achieves a 95% success rate specifically in detecting exact matches of prohibited words listed in the database, with an average execution time of 0.000107 seconds per document. These results demonstrate that this combination of methods provides a highly efficient technical solution for reducing the initial curation workload, although its implementation is still limited to a dictionary-based approach and does not yet incorporate semantic context understanding.

Abstract

Fluctuations in BUMN banking stock prices, driven by internal performance and macroeconomics, create uncertainty for market participants, necessitating further analysis of the influencing factors. This analysis examines the impact of Return on Equity (ROE), Non-Performing Loans (NPL), & Interest Rate Policy on the stock price in BUMN banking in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2017-2024. The method applied is quantitative using an associative approach. The research utilized secondary data collected from annual reports, the website of Bank Indonesia, and the IDX as sources of information for the analysis data. Analysis stages included descriptive statistical tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, the coefficient of determination R², t-tests, and F-tests using the SPSS 29 data analysis application. Results of the analysis indicate that ROE, NPL, and Interest Rate Policy affect Stock Price simultaneously, through a significance of 0.020 < 0.05. Individually, ROE has no significant impact (Sig. 0.235 > 0.05), NPL has a significant negative impact (Sig. 0.004 < 0.05), and Interest Rate Policy has no significant impact (Sig. 0.182 > 0.05). Adjusted R-Square results indicate that the three-variable regression model from this research contributes 21.6% to Stock Price, while another 78.4% are influenced by factors outside the scope of the research regression model. These outcomes are expected to develop financial literature on capital markets and guide BUMN banking in mitigating credit risk to maintain stock price stability.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) frequently encounter managerial limitations that hinder business sustainability and reduce their potential contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This study aims to analyze how managerial strengthening through a mentoring program enhances MSME capacity building and supports SDG achievement. The research was conducted at Dimsum Bolobox, a culinary MSME located in Surabaya, Indonesia, using a qualitative case study approach involving one business owner as the primary participant and mentoring activities carried out over approximately fifteen weeks (February–May 2026). Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and participatory mentoring, and analyzed using the interactive model of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that managerial strengthening resulted in significant improvements across four managerial dimensions: marketing, operational management, financial management, and business legality. The MSME successfully implemented a structured content calendar, insight-based digital marketing evaluation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), production recording systems, attendance monitoring, simple financial bookkeeping, comprehensive cost of goods sold (COGS) calculations, and obtained a Business Identification Number (NIB). These interventions transformed previously informal business practices into more systematic managerial processes and strengthened the owner’s confidence and decision-making capacity. The study further demonstrates that managerial strengthening functions as a multidimensional capacity-building process that simultaneously develops technical, organizational, and psychological capabilities while creating potential contributions to SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). These findings provide empirical evidence that practice-based mentoring can serve as an effective strategy for improving MSME sustainability and supporting long-term sustainable development.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has made smartphones an essential part of students' academic activities. However, the high intensity of smartphone usage raises questions regarding its relationship with learning productivity. This study aims to analyze the relationship between smartphone usage duration and learning productivity among Informatics students and to explore the data using a Monte Carlo simulation approach. The study was conducted on 80 second- and fourth-semester Informatics students at Amikom University Purwokerto. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, validity testing, reliability testing, normality testing, Pearson correlation analysis, simple linear regression, and Monte Carlo simulation with 1,000 iterations using Python. The results revealed a Pearson correlation coefficient of with a significance value of indicating a negative but statistically insignificant relationship between smartphone usage duration and learning productivity. Simple linear regression analysis produced the regression equation with a coefficient of determination of , indicating that smartphone usage duration explains only a small proportion of the variance in students' learning productivity. Monte Carlo simulation was employed as an exploratory approach to illustrate the potential variation in learning productivity based on the characteristics of the observed data. The simulation results demonstrated variability in learning productivity scores across different smartphone usage scenarios; however, these findings cannot be interpreted as evidence of a significant effect between the two variables. This study concludes that the relationship between smartphone usage duration and learning productivity among Informatics students tends to be weak and is influenced by various factors beyond the scope of the proposed model. Therefore, further research with a larger sample size and additional explanatory variables is recommended to achieve a more comprehensive understanding of student learning productivity in the digital era. The contribution of this research lies in providing empirical evidence regarding the weak relationship between the two variables among informatics students, as well as demonstrating that the Monte Carlo simulation can be utilized as an exploratory approach to illustrate variations in possible outcomes based on empirical data characteristics, rather than as a conclusive predictive tool.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the public sector requires bureaucratic efficiency through the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, particularly in the recruitment process for Civil Servants (ASN). This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the intention to use AI-based recruitment technology among HR professionals in the public sector. Using the Unified Theory for Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) framework, this quantitative study involved 60 respondents consisting of internal employees, policymakers, and CPNS selection committee members in the public sector. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares (PLS)-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 4 software. The results indicate that only technology adoption has a significant and positive effect on the intention to use AI, with a path coefficient of 0.616 and a significance level of 0.000. Meanwhile, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, and Facilitating Conditions were found to have no significant effect on the intention to use AI. The conclusion of this study is that the intention to adopt AI at the Pringsewu BKPSDM is highly dependent on the perception of tangible performance benefits; therefore, implementation strategies must focus on demonstrating the functional advantages of the technology. This study makes a theoretical contribution by expanding the application of the UTAUT model to AI adoption in local government bureaucracies, as well as a practical contribution by providing a strategic guide for local policymakers to mitigate governance risks and design technology implementations based on actual functional needs.
