Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine students’ learning outcomes physic between Instruction Based Learning model using TGT type of media snake ladder compared to conventional learning in class VIII MTsN 1 Lubuk Basung. The hypothesis formulated in this research is "The application of cooperative learning model TGT with media cards and snakes and ladders results higher Physical Science learning with conventional learning in science teaching Physics.". The kind of this research is quasy experimental and the design of this study is a Randomized Control Only Design. The population of this study is all of students at class VII MTsN 1 Lubuk Basung academic year 2015/2016. The sample of this research take by used a random cluster sampling technique. The class VIII.5 obtained as an experimental class and control class as a class is VIII.4. This test is given at the end of the study sample class 25 objective questions. The technique used to test the hypothesis is to use an equation that estimated the average one-way through the t-test, for normally distributed data and data group has a homogeneous variance. The average score on the cognitive aspects of learning outcomes is an experimental class and control class 85.52, 73.17. Based on the analysis of data obtained, t = 4.25 and t table = 1.67. Because t obtained in the rejection of H0, ie 4.25> 1.67, the decision was rejected H0 and H1 accepted. This means that there is an increase in student learning outcomes by using model Problem Based Instruction with conventional learning in science teaching Physics class VIII MTsN 1Lubuk Basung

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of critical thinking skills of learners in the learning process of physics in MTsN IV Koto Aur Malintang. This leads to physics learning outcomes learners are still under KKM set is 75. Among the causes is the lack of an opportunity for learners to develop thinking skills, especially critical thinking skills, students are less active in developing her potential, as well as the learning process used is more teacher-centered. Businesses that can be done to improve the critical thinking skills of learners is to implement a model of hands on activity. This study aims to determine the increase in critical thinking skills of learners by applying the model of hands on activity on learning physics MTsN IV Koto Aur Malintang.This study is a quasi-experimental research (quasy-exsperimental research) research design is randomized control group only design. The population in this study were all students of class VII MTsN IV Koto Aur Malintang Academic Year 2016/2017. The sampling in this class using cluster random sampling technique. Retrieved class as a class experiment VII.1 and VII.2 class as the control class. The instrument used in this study is a test of learning outcomes in the form of an objective test to use traditional indicators of critical thinking. The technique used to test the hypothesis is by using t-test. T tests were performed for normal distribution of data and data group has a homogeneous variance.Based on data analysis averages the critical thinking skills of students in the experimental class was 69.15 and in control group was 62.89. The results of the analysis of data obtained through t test t = 2.63 and 1.66 t table, where t count> t table (2.63> 1.66). His decision is H0 and H1 accepted. This means learning model application hands on activity in the learning of physics can improve critical thinking skills of students in learning physics MTsN IV Koto Aur Malintang. So it can be concluded that the application of the model hands-on activity can improve critical thinking skills of students in learning physics MTsN IV Koto Aur Malintang at level of 95%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of physics students learning outcomes. The learning process which tends to be centered on teachers lead students do not actively find ideas. Students are less dare argue or ask questions. This study aims to determine whether the results of learning physics students through Guided Inquiry learning model with Mind Map better than conventional learning in class X MAN Linggo Sari Baganti. This study is quasy experiment, with the study design randomized control group only design. The population in this study is a class X MAN IPA Linggo Sari Baganti Academic Year 2016/2017 consisting of 2 classes (X IPA1 and X IPA2). The conclusion shows that physics student learning outcomes by implementing Guided Inquiry learning model with Mind Map better than conventional teaching in class X MAN Linggo Sari Baganti with average physics student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain the experimental class 83.8 and 78.4 the control class

Abstract

Telah dilakukan percobaan penentuan konsentrasi larutan kalium permanganate (KmnO4) yang belum diketahui nilainya menggunakan analisis spektoskopi UV-Vis. Data yang diperoleh yaitu berupa panjang gelombang (λ) dan absorbansi (A) untuk tiaplarutan KMnO4 yang sudah diketahui konsentrasinya yaitu 1x10-5 M, 0.5x10-5 M,0.25x10-5 M, 0.1x10-5 M, dan 0.05x10-5 M. Larutan KMnO4 berbagai konsentrasidiperoleh dari pengenceran menggunakan pelarut aquades. Dari data yang diperoleh kemudian dibuat grafik linear sehingga diperoleh persamaan garis linear. Selanjutnya dapat ditetukan nilai absorbtivitas (a) larutan KMnO4 yaitu sebesar 6.0 .107,yang selanjutnya dapat digunakan untuk menentukan konsentrasi KMnO4 yang belum diketahui nilainya menggunakan hukum Lambert-beer. Konsentrasi dari larutan KMnO4 yang belum diketahui nilainya yaitu sebesar 7.93.10-5 M.

Abstract

This Research background of the lack of attention and student active in implementation of physics learning that still on teacher centerin MTsS of Gantung Ciri Solok regency. This problem can observeresult learning model thatgivea not effective, because the teacher oftenus group of student to finish the taskin their lesson, the teacher hope the student can coorperate in their group, But the student usually hope too in their other friends. One of learning model that can solve this problem with use cooperative scramble learning model. This Research is to knowthat using cooperative scramble learning model can give resul tstudy physics Bette compare using group at VIII gradein MTsS of Gantung Ciri Solok regency. Kind of Research that use quasy experiment Research with Research design is randomized control group only design. Population in this Research is all of student at VIII gradein MTsS of Gantung Ciri Solok regency 2016/2017. Technique of sampel interpretation that us ein this Research total sampling. The technique that use to examinehy potheses is with use similarity on average on direction pass test-t, Because distibute data normal and data group varian tthat homo gene ous. The result data analysis affective aspect, the student experiment class with average value 84,67control class and 76,28. The result data analysis cognitive aspect the student experiment class with average value = 81,87 and control class  = 70,8. The student that get value above completeness in the experiment class is 24 person (80%) and control class is 12 person (40%). Based on test-t on real standard 0,05 gettcount=5,68 andttable=1,67, becausegettcount>ttable(5,68 > 1,67), so, it decision Ho refusedand Hi accapted. It proved the using of cooperative scramble learning model give result physics study Better than using of learning model group discussionin MTsS of Gantung Ciri Solok Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to produce comic as a medium learning in MTsN 1 Lubuk Basung valid and practical. The research is research and development (R&D). The development of done with reference to a model with 4-D definition, stage, design, develop, dissemination, this research is restricted to development on the stage. The analysis of data obtained the value of the validation comic media 84,36 very valid criteria, the value practical comic media by teachers 93,03 very practical criteria, the value practical comic media by students 82,07 very practical criteria.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to know the implementation of learning mastery strategy in using visual media to give the student score are better than conventional learning. The design of this research was quasy experiment with randomized control group only design. The population of this research were all of student’s class XI - XI  MAN 1 Padang period 2016-2017. In determining experimental class and control class used cluster random sampling technique. The data was analyzed hyphotesis testing and t-test because the data was normal and the group of data has homogen varians.based on the research finding, it can be conduded that experimental class is more increase than control class. In spiritual aspect, experiment class got three criteria very good and one criteria good whereas control class got four criteria good. In social aspect, experiment class got one criteria very good and three criteria good where as control class got four criteria good. In attitude aspect, experiment class got four criteria very good whereas control class got three criteria very good and one criteria good. In cognitive aspect, experiment class still achieve mean score 79,59 where as the mean score of control class was 75,75. Based on analyzed of t-test in post test got t-calculate=1,90, where as t-table = 1,67, it means that  was rejected and  was accepted. The result of the research showed that the implementation of learning mastery strategy using visual media was better and in crease the score of student physic than conventional learning.

Abstract

This research aims to determine differences in learning outcomes IPA-Physics students taught using models problem Solving with learning Model TPS mode and conventional learning. Hypothesis (H1) formulated in this study is the "Third Problem solving learning model, Think-Pair-Share and learning Konvensioanal learning outcomes IPA-physics are not the same". This research is quasy experiment and design of the study is a post test only control group design. The study population was all students of class VII MTsN Tarusan, South Coastal District first semester of academic year 2016/2017. Sample were taken using cluster random sampling technique. Retrieved class VII B as the experimental class I (Problem Solving), a class VII D as the experimental class II (Think-Pair-Share) and class VII C as the control class (conventional learning).The average results of studying physics at the cognitive aspects of the experimental class I (Problem Solving) is 80.46 in the experimental class II (Think-Pair-Share) was 78,27,14 and the control class method was 70 (Conventional). Based on hypothesis testing, f count > f table (6,49 > 3.10) so that H0 and H1 accepted, meaning all three learning model provides science-physics learning outcomes are not the same. After the test of the hypothesis H0 decision, to determine which model of learning most good, do multiple comparison test (multiple comparison) with Scheffe test. the results of the data analysis Scheffe test showed Fs> F table (11,68 > 9.55). So we can conclude there are differences in all three classes on the material characteristics of the sample substance and physical and chemical changes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of understanding the concept of learners in the learning of physics that apply the model TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) is better than the ability of understanding the concept of learners in the learning of physics that apply learning models group discussion class X MIA MAN I Padang.The population of this researchis class X MIA MAN I Padang Shaded Academic Year 2016/2017 half of the consisting off our classes (X MIA1,X MIA2, X MIA3 andX MIA4). To take samples in this study used a cluster random sampling. Based on calculations, the class X is obtained MIA3 as experimental class and class X MIA2 as the control class. Data collection techniquesused include tests . Data analysis techniques are used to test the hypothesis is by using the t test for normally distributed data and data group homogeneous variance. Based on analysis of data obtained, the cognitive aspects of knowledge competencies average value of the experimental class is higher than the control class. So we can conclude the capability of understanding the concepts of physics learners pad experimental class is better than the control class is the class average experimental physics learning outcomes learners are 83.63 and 81.16 in the control class.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the results of learning physics by using a type of cooperative learning model Think Talk Write higher than conventional learning in class VIII MTsN Tarusan. This research is quasy experiment with the design study is a randomized control group only design. The study population was a class VIII MTsN Tarusan Academic Year 2015/2016 second semester consisting of 4 classes. To take samples in this study used cluster random sampling technique. Based on the results of the sample selection, diperolehlah VIIID class as an experimental class and the class as a class VIIIB control. Data collection techniques used include tests and observation. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis is by using the t test for normally distributed data and data group has a homogeneous variance. Based on analysis of data obtained, the student activity (affective aspect) in the experimental class is higher than the control class.
