Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know about the structure of subsurface in campus III IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang. Information about subsurface used to preeleminary research as a base of planning office and classroom on new campus IAIN Imam Bonjol at Sungai Bangek. This Research use geophysical properties, specially Geoelectrical method. Geoelectrical method use electrical property of the earth through the subsurface and then record by geophone on the surface. The interpretation of the subsurface was do according to different of their resistivity. The result of this research shows that structure of this area dominate by clay, limestone, and andesit. The surface dominate by clay, andesit only in a few area. In subsurface andesit in range 45-60 meter.Kata Kunci: Structure of subsurface, geoelectric, clay, limestone, andesit

Abstract

Physics is one branch of Natural Sciences (IPA) that underlies the development of science and technology. The main purpose of studying physics is to understand the natural phenomena of seeking natural knowledge (law) (Trustho, 2008: 5). Natural Science (IPA) and technology are two things that are related to each other. This study aims to: 1) Produce a multimedia-based physics learning media presentation (prezi) valid, practical, and effective. This research is a development research using research and development (R&D) method developed by Borg and Gall. The result of data analysis obtained the validation value of multimedia prezi 86.5 category is very valid. The value of prehearsal multimedia practice by IPA educators 86.6 categories is very practical. The value of practicality by learners for small-scale test 81.1 and large-scale test 88.2 categories is very practical. The effectiveness test obtained results 88.4 categories are very effective. This shows that multimedia-based physics-based teaching media (prezi) can be used as a medium of learning in SMP / MTs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce learning media based on Adobe Flash applications that are valid, practical and effective. This type of research is development research using the ADDIE model. The results of this study are adobe flash based learning media which are very valid with an average of 84.05%, very practical with an average of 76.5%, very effective with an average of 74% and an understanding of concepts with a value of 74.2. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the learning media based on Adobe Flash application to improve students' understanding of concepts is very valid, very practical, and very effective in supporting the understanding of concepts in heat material, heat transfer and kinetic gas theory.

Abstract

The purpose of this development is to produce teaching material products in the form of LKPD based on Problem Based Learning on Electromagnetic Wave material for high school class X students who are valid, practical, and effective. The development model of this study is the 4-D development model, define, design, develop, and disseminate. Research is limited to reaching the development stage due to time constraints.From the results of the assessment obtained the value of validity for the eligibility of the content is 87.33. Judging from the suitability of the learning method, the results of validity were obtained 82.28. Viewed in terms of conformity with didactic conditions, the results of 72 validity are obtained with valid categories. Viewed in terms of conformity with the terms of construction (language) obtained the results of validity 88.8 with a very valid category. While in terms of conformity with technical requirements (graphics) the value is 82.66 with a very valid category. From the results of the practicality test results obtained with the practical value of 86.37 by students in a very practical category and by the teacher obtained the results of 88.23 with a very practical category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to look at the effectiveness of problem solving based e-modules on students' critical thinking skills. The pre-experimental research method used the one shot case study design. The instruments used are tests that are used to see students' critical thinking skills. The research sample was students of class X MIPA 4 SMA N 2 Lubuk Basung. The results showed the e-module was very effective at developing students' critical thinking skills. The acquisition of critical thinking ability scores on IDEALS aspects as follows: I (Identify) 83.33% the category is very effective; D (Define) 86.66% very effective category; E (Enumerate) 85.55% in the highly effective category; A (Analyze) 83.33% very effective category; L (List) 83.33% very effective category; and S (Selt-Correct) 81.81% in the highly effective category. This shows that e-module based on problem solving can be used to develop critical thinking skills of high school class X students on straight motion and parabolic motion material.

Abstract

This development aims to generate and develop Lecture Maker produc in Lessons that meet valid, practical and effective eligibility criteria. This research is a type of research development or Research and Development (R & D) with procedural model adapting 4-D models that define, design, develop and disseminate. Data were obtained from questionnaires given to 2 media experts, 2 material experts, 1 linguist, 2 educators and 40 students. Based on the average result from the validation test by 5 validators by 91%, from the practicality test by 2 teachers got 77% result, from the practical test by 40 students got 80% result and the effectiveness test by 40 students got the result of 78% Therefore, it can be concluded that the Lecture Maker is feasible to be used as a medium of learning that meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness and can increase learning interests of learners.

Abstract

This study aims to look at student learning activities using cooperative script models. This is motivated by the lack of optimal implementation of learning using various models, while students tend to be passive and show less interest in learning. Student activity is mainly seen from 2 activities namely writing activities and listening activities. The method used in this study is quasi-experimental methods, the sampling used is cluster random sampling with 2 sample classes. The results showed a significant number of increased student learning activities using this model. The data obtained by the experimental class obtained one very good information (A) for visual activities and one good information (B) for writing activities, while the control class got two good (B ) for both aspects studied. Based on this it can be concluded that student learning activities using cooperative script models have increased when compared with conventional learning

Abstract

Android-based learning media is a way to deliver material in the teaching and learning process using Android as a tool, almost all students now have a smartphone, but only used for social media, playing games and sending instant messages such as WhatsApp, very rarely used in the learning process, so it will it is better if the smartphone is used as a learning medium, one of which is by making learning media in the form of applications using appypie. The application in this study contains competencies, teaching materials, sample questions, learning videos, quizzes and verses of the Qur’an related to the subject. The research method used is Research and Development (RnD) with the development process using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop and Desseminate). This study is to look at the validation of the media application for the independence of student learning.the results of this study indicate that Appypie-based media are valid in language, material and appearance, and can be recommended to support student learning independence

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) on the topic of Regular Straight Motion (GLB) to Improve Intellectual Skills and Concept Mastery in Class VIII Students. The research method used in this research is experimental research. The study population was 256 people. The sample used was random sampling, in order to obtain a sample of class VIII F of 32 students. The data collection technique used in this study was a test. The data analysis technique is the prerequisite test data analysis. Based on the results of the research conducted, it was found that there was an effect of Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) on the topic of Regular Straight Motion to Improve Intellectual Skills and Concept Mastery in Class VIII Students.

Abstract

The Goal of this paper is to analyze the use of science laboratory specially physics laboratory in junior high school. The research method uses library research. The results of the study can be seen that laboratory is one of  important thing to encourage interaction between student and learning object on junior high school. Laboratory and  all of kind the tool is important to support learning proses in school as write as in government role at PP number 19 2005 abaut National education standard. Component of education laboratory consist of 5 component, there are laboratory’s building, facilities, tools, chemical, and organizing (Wahyukaeni, 2005: 18-21)
