Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of physics students learning outcomes. The learning process which tends to be centered on teachers lead students do not actively find ideas. Students are less dare argue or ask questions. This study aims to determine whether the results of learning physics students through Guided Inquiry learning model with Mind Map better than conventional learning in class X MAN Linggo Sari Baganti. This study is quasy experiment, with the study design randomized control group only design. The population in this study is a class X MAN IPA Linggo Sari Baganti Academic Year 2016/2017 consisting of 2 classes (X IPA1 and X IPA2). The conclusion shows that physics student learning outcomes by implementing Guided Inquiry learning model with Mind Map better than conventional teaching in class X MAN Linggo Sari Baganti with average physics student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain the experimental class 83.8 and 78.4 the control class

Abstract

In this study, Fluxgate made with a design 30 and 20 winding excitation coil pickups. Fluxgate used to measure vibrations in two dimensions. Vibration measurements performed indirectly by using two mechanical pendulum to vibrate in the direction of axis x and y are placed on the source of vibration. Fluxgate sensor working principle is developed when there is vibration, then the magnetic mass at the end of the pendulum arm will come to move in rhythm with the vibration. This will result in the distance between the sensor with a magnetic mass changes. Changes in this distance will lead to changes in magnetic induction at the core of the sensor. Because of the large magnetic field intensity received by the sensor varies with the distance the vibration amplitude changes that occur will result in a change in voltage generated by the sensor. This means that the emf is happening is a function of the distance between the sensor with a magnetic mass. Fluxgate sensor is placed in the direction of axis x and y. Based on analysis of data obtained sensitivity of the sensor x and y with the same value that is ± 39 mV / μT. The range of frequencies that can be detected by sensors in this study were 0.37 Hz to 1.81 Hz and amplitude range that has been carried out ranging between 0.7 cm to 2.3 cm. Maximum absolute error and maximum relative error in the characterization of the frequency obtained is happening on the sensor y of 0.054 Hz and -2.18%. For amplitude obtained is happening on the sensor x 0,005 volt and 3,28%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce student worksheets based on science, environment, technology and society on the material dynamics of rotation and balance of rigid objects class XI MIA MAN 2 Padang City which are valid, practical and effective to increase students' interest in learning. This type of research is research and development (research and development) using the 4-D model starting from the definition stage (define), the design phase (design), the stage of development (develop), and the stage of dissemination (disseminate). The validity test of LKPD was seen in terms of the feasibility of content, media and language by five experts. Practicality test seen from the ease of using LKPD by two physics educators and 13 students of class XI MIA 2 MAN 2, Padang City. Test the effectiveness of LKPD by looking at the interests of students in class XI MIA MAN 2, Padang City. The instrument used in the test of validity, practicality and effectiveness using a questionnaire with a Likert scale and analyzed with percentage techniques. The results showed that science, environment, technology and society-based LKPD on the material of rotational dynamics and rigid body balance produced valid, practical and effective LKPD with very valid criteria (89.54%), very practical criteria (96.91%) and criteria very effective (76.49%).

Abstract

Research has been conducted on the development of the e-diagnostic four-tier test to identify misconceptions of students from SMAN 9 Sijunjung. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model. The research was conducted at SMAN 9 Sijunjung in class XI MIPA 2. The validity test of the E-Diagnostic Four Tier physics test was given to 5 expert validators assessed from the aspect of material, construction, misconception and language, practicality test was given to 1 physics educator and 20 people students and effectiveness tests were tested on 20 students. The results of the validity test analysis by the expert validator showed that the E-diagnostic test in the form of Four-tier test developed was very valid with an average of 82.4%, the results of the practicality analysis by educators and students were very practical with an average of 81.65%, while the results of the effectiveness analysis for the product obtained a question validity of 70% with a valid category. reliability of the question 0.88 with a reliable category, the level of difficulty and different power of a good question each item, while the analysis of misconceptions obtained a percentage of 63% in the material of thermodynamics and 55.5% in the material of optical devices. This shows that the E-Diagnostic Four Tier Test physics test is categorized as very valid and very practical to use in learning physics

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need for learning media that can be used anytime and anywhere in increasing students' independence, so design learning media in the form of mobile learning-based learning media on the android platform. This study aims to (1) to develop mobile learning-based physics learning media on the android platform using the App Inventor application, (2) to produce physics learning media based on mobile learning on the android platform using the App Inventor application to improve student learning independence which is valid, practical and effective. This research uses the research and development (R & D) type of research and development, with a 4-D model starting from defining, designing, developing and disseminate stages. Media learning based on mobile learning on the android platform tested its validity by 1 linguist, 2 material experts, 2 media experts, tested practicality by 2 physics educators and 20 students and tested the effectiveness of 39 students. The instrument used was a questionnaire using a Likert Scale. The results showed that (1) the physics learning media based on mobile learning on the android platform was very valid according to 5 validators with an average value of 92.12%. (2) physics learning media based on mobile learning on the android platform is very practical in terms of content, presentation, benefits, and opportunities for the use of instructional media according to 2 physics educators with an average value of 81.25% while according to 20 students of class XI with the acquisition of scores on average 85.25% and (3) physics learning media based on mobile learning on the android platform are effectively used according to 39 students of class XI with an average value of 83.01%. Based on the results of data acquisition shows that the physics learning media based on mobile learning on the android platform can improve the learning independence of students with very valid criteria, very practical and very effective to use in XI class physics learning.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a product of physics instructinal media based on mobile learning on the subject matter of elasticity for the students of class XI Madrasah Aliyah which is valid, practical, and effective to use in learning physic. This research is a development research 4D’s model (Define, Design, Develop, Desseminate). This product have been valued by ( 1 language expert, 2 physics material expert, 2 media expert) for validity test,( 4 physics theachers of MAN 2 Padang and 36 students) for practical test and 109 students for effectiveness test. The Instrument of this research is form of a questionnaire check list. The results showed that the physics instructional media based on mobile learning is very valid with an average 92,59,  very practical based on 4 physics theachers and 36 students of class XI MAN 2 Padang with an average 87,08 and 83,02, and effectively used based on 109 students of class XI MAN 2 Padang with an average 77,01. Based on the findings, it may be concluded that the physics instructional media based on mobile learninng with an adobe flash cs 6 is very valid,very practical, and effective used in physics learning of class XI MAN 2 Padang.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat efektivitas video pembelajaran fisika berbasis model learning cycle 5E terhadap kemampuan literasi sains. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pra eksperimen. Desain yang digunakan adalah one shot case study. Intrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes untuk melihat kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik dan angket untuk melihat persepsi peserta didik. Sampel penelitian yaitu kelas XI IA 7 SMA N 2 Kota Solok. Hasil penelitian mengembangkan video pembelajaran fisika berbasis model learning cycle 5E sangat efektif mengembangkan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik. Hasil tes literasi sains dari aspek kompetensi sains dengan rata-rata 75 dan aspek pengetahuan sains yaitu 82,75. Sedangkan untuk angket persepsi peserta didik diperoleh rata-rata 90,67% untuk perserpsi menemukan hipotesis dan mudah memecahkan masalah, serta 89,33% peserta didik memahami konsep fisika. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa video pembelajaran fisika berbasis learning cycle 5E berbantuan adobe after effect sangat efektif mengembangkan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik.

Abstract

This research purpose to know whether cooperative model application with student facilitator and explaining type can increase physics concept comprehension of students compared with conventional mode at VIII class of MTsN Durian Tarung. This research is a quasi experiment research the randomized control group only design research program. The population of this research are all of VIII class of MTsN Durian Tarung Padang at 2016/2017 period consist of 8 classes. The getting data technique done is cluster random sampling. This is acquired by VIII1 class as experiment class and VIII3 class as control class. In this research acquired average value of physics student at cognitive side are 82,8 of experiment class and 79,0 of control class. Besed on data analysis have been gottenhave been gotten ,thitung = 2.008 and ttabel = 1.66 at the real level of 0.05. The result shows that t hitung > t tabel, until H0 rejected and H1 accepted. And the conclusion is comprehension physics concept by using student facilitator and explaining model advanced from concept comprehension by using conventional method in VIII class of MTsN Durian Tarung  at 2016/2017 period.

Abstract

The research objective is to understand the learning motivation of Tadris IPA students at UIN Imam Bonjol Padang in online learning. The sample in the survey research is 36 students of Tadris IPA with data collection in the form of a motivational aspect questionnaire containing 10 statements via google form. Questionnaire analysis shows that the average aspect of motivation is 84% ​​(very high motivation). It can be concluded that the Tadris IPA students of UIN Imam Bonjol Padang are very motivated to learn during online learning.

Abstract

Several studies have acknowledged that using E-Modules can support the thinking and creative abilities of students to be able to learn independently and can also repeat lessons independently whenever students want. The e-module provided also contains about the sustainability of the Minangkabau custom that almost no one plays the traditional instrument, namely the rice stalk pupuik. Where is the rice stem fertilizer originating from the Payukumbuh, Lima Puluh Kota, West Sumatra. This one musical instrument is a musical instrument that has many characteristics in playing it, which has many meanings for each playing technique. This rice stem pupuik musical instrument was explained in the material of mechanical waves and sound waves from class 12 material. The game technique owned by the rice stem pupuik or the shrill sound emitted by the rice stem pupuik, was explained in learning about sound waves. From this, students will be made to think critically and creatively in finding out about the lessons of mechanical waves and sound waves which are owned by the rice stem pupuik musical instrument. The products provided in this study are very different from the E-Modules that have been made by previous researchers, namely the E-modules integrated with local wisdom of rice stem fertilizers originating from West Sumatra.
