Abstract

The basic concept of the subtractive clustering algorithm is to choose a data point that has the highest density (potential) in a space (variable) as the center of the cluster. The number and position of the cluster centers formed are influenced by the given radius (r) parameter value. If the radius value is very small, it will result in the neglect of potential data points around the center of the cluster. If the value of the radius parameter is too large, it increases the contribution of all potential data points, thereby canceling the effect of cluster density. The number of cluster centers in the subtractive clustering algorithm is determined based on the iteration process in finding data points with the highest number of neighbors. This study uses the clustering partition as a parameter value to determine a data point (candidate cluster center) will be selected to determine the effect of the radius (r) parameter value on the subtractive clustering algorithm in generating clustering. From the experiments that have been carried out on 4 datasets, the results have been obtained, for dataset 1 the highest average value of fuzzy silhouette with a parameter value of radius (r) 0.35 is 0.9088 and the number of clusters 2. While in dataset 2, the average value The highest fuzzy silhouette with a parameter value of radius (r) 0.40 is 0.6742 and the number of clusters 3. While in dataset 3, the average value of the highest fuzzy silhouette with a parameter value of radius (r) 0.50 is 0.7434 and the number of clusters 3. While in the dataset the last is the fourth dataset, the highest fuzzy silhouette average value with a radius (r) parameter value of 0.50 is 0.6630 and the number of clusters 2. This subscractive clustering algorithm is widely applied in the fields of transportation, GIS, big data, control of electric voltages, electrical energy needs, knowing the area of population density to health such as breast cancer diagnosis, which is related to the needs of human life.

Abstract

The Teke company recognizes a heavy responsibility of women in their status as wife and mother and in their participation in different social, cultural and political activities. In this matrimonial society, the Teke woman is a true artist in the history of the Teke kingdom. On this subject, the political history of the Teke kingdom invokes the implication of the woman in the management of the kingdom and in the sense that the role of the woman is very noticed in this Teke civilization which continues to resist as best it can the perverse effects of globalization. As one of the last kingdoms in Central Africa, the Teke kingdom, which resisted during slavery and European penetration, has long known the importance of women. It was in this sense that it had made it possible to place her in the socio-cultural and political sphere. The Teke woman being a dynamic woman worked with great ardor, occupying an important place within the kingdom where her presence was almost noticed everywhere.

Abstract

The paper examines the way that policy of governmental intervention can promote innovation and achieve a leading role in global markets. Innovation is a major driver of economic development and what drives competition in modern age, allowing nations a competitive position through investments in technology. The nature of innovation changed significantly in the last decades, and it is today based on technological advancement and openness to global developments. As the world is changing, competition between countries accelerates, and the role of governments in technology development is critical. The paper argues that the most significant role in innovation is provided by governments, which need to create new markets rather than just supervise them. Israel is a leader in innovation, providing the perfect example for the success of governmental policy to encourages innovation. The country is known as the “Start-up Nation”, which means that its economic growth is linked to technology and innovation. This policy promotes innovation by the government, which is deeply involved in the market and dictates the scope of technological advancement.

Abstract

In this paper the author analyzes the influence of Christianity on society. There will be demonstrated that through its structure, man was created to live in the community. He discovers himself by relating to the world surrounding him, as it is argued by Martin Heidegger, and Martin Buber. Here we also include the relationship with the transcendent. The philosophical and sociological arguments help us understand the influence Christianity had on European society. The religion of the European nations had a strong influence on the civilization of the continent and the world. Researchers have come to the conclusion that man was created with an innate religious feeling. Rudolf Otto sought to demonstrate that man's religious experience can only be explained by the aprioric existence of the sacred. So did Mircea Eliade, who introduced a new term "hierophany" to define the act of experiencing the sacred. There were also researchers who reinterpreted the relationship with the sacred. Emile Durkheim argued that ultimately, religion in its present form will be replaced by a so-called "civic religion," which will replace religious services in churches. Accepting the perspective of Scripture, the author tries to show the idea of the presence of Divinity in the believer's life (John 14:15-26). Jurgen Moltman asserts that if society were to enter the process of Christ's discipleship, she would discover the divine alternatives that bring the long-awaited results. Max Weber argued that Christian religion, and especially the sects of Protestantism, had a decisive role in influencing the culture and civilization of modern Europe, and the world at large. From his point of view, the decision of man in capitalist society to make a great effort in his work, has a religious motivation, namely, the doctrine of predestination. Considering that the moral and theological dimension of Christianity lies at the root of human significance, Christians struggle to defend the revealed message. A good example is given by Francis Schaeffer, who in his book Trilogy pleads to preserve the traditional moral values of the Bible. Schaeffer attempts to link the idea of revelation, as it is presented in the Christian Bible, with the discovering of man's significance.

Abstract

The COVID-19 virus was declared by WHO as a pandemic towards the beginning of 2020. As a result, Indonesia also implemented physical distancing nationally. This condition was responded to quite diverse by the community, one of which was in Tanggulwelahan Village, Tulungagung Regency. Myth is actually an alternative that people use in addressing these conditions. Therefore, researchers apply qualitative research methods (phenomenology) to explain the social construction of myths in the efforts of local communities to deal with COVID-19. Based on the results of interviews, observations, and analyzes using social construction theory the following results are obtained. "Buto" figure is a sacred symbol for the community because it is believed to have supernatural strength so that it can banish various outbreaks of disease. This understanding was formed through the process of externalization, objectification, and internalization that has been going on for generations. Meanwhile, medical information related to COVID-19 is new knowledge, so it is difficult to replace the old knowledge of society which is actually a myth.

Abstract

Stunting that has occurred if not addressed will cause public health problems. Investments in human resources are important to improve competitiveness, and tackling stunting be a concrete step that greatly contribute to improving the quality of life of the people. The achievement of reducing stunting rates is still far from the target, so a systematic evaluation of government programs is needed. The study applies quantitative and qualitative methods to describe the conditions of stunting and poverty in Palembang City, the factors that cause poverty, analyzes opportunities, threats, strengths and weaknesses in empowering activities for the poor and formulates strategies to alleviate stunting and poverty. Strategies to accelerate stunting reduction are family food security and parenting that determine nutritional adequacy and are strengthened by coordination of poverty alleviation programs, namely the New Entrepreneurial Growth Program and empowerment of micro and small businesses. Areas near the river have water plants “enceng gondok” that can be processed into products of economic value and also as a solution for river hygiene. The government policy must also support this activity by requiring the use of water hyacinth handicraft products as a solution to reducing plastic use. In addition, there are mussels or shellfish typical of the city of Palembang and fish which can be used as innovative products for the development of typical Palembang food besides pempek and crackers. The programs designed can be implemented effectively and achieve the desired goals by socializing and maximizing the number and quality of assistants in accordance with the number of poor people who must be assisted on an ongoing basis.
