In its application, good school management can include various important aspects, namely, (1) good and effective time management; (2) application of appropriate learning methods; (3) the existence of an interactive relationship between educators and students; and (4) an interactive and pleasant classroom atmosphere. These are some of the factors that can encourage students' interest in learning, especially in mathematics, where the subject is often considered difficult for some students at school. With the writing of this article, it is hoped that it can provide suggestions for teachers to provide variations in determining interesting learning methods so that the material can be well received by students without considering it a burden.

The data analysis used is descriptive and quantitative. Based on descriptive analysis, students' interest in learning mathematics is classified in the sufficient category with a percentage of 56.84%. Students' math learning achievement is classified in the moderate category with a percentage of 36.69%. The results of quantitative analysis of student learning interest variables on student learning achievement show a correlation coefficient of 0.825 (t count = 16.995 with sig <0.05) so it can be said to be significant, meaning that the second hypothesis is accepted, a positive and significant influence between student learning interest on student learning achievement effective contribution of 68.06%.
