Research Aims: Employee performance research is particularly intriguing because it incorporates individuals, the environment, processes, and equipment, as well as the organization's key goals. The goals of this study are to: (1) examine and analyze the impact of leadership style and work environment on work motivation; (2) examine and analyze the impact of leadership style and employee performance; (3) examine and analyze the impact of work environment on employee motivation; and (4) examine and analyze the effect of leadership style and work environment on employee performance through work motivation. Design/methodology/approach: The survey, which included 80 respondents, was conducted at the Office for the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers. The sampling methodology employs a saturated sample technique, as well as descriptive and path analytic tools. Research Findings: The findings revealed that (1) leadership style and work environment influence work motivation, (2) leadership style and work environment influence employee performance, (3) work motivation influences employee performance, and (4) work motivation does not influence leadership style and work environment influence employee performance. Work motivation, as an intervening variable, does not improve employee performance by changing leadership style and work environment. Theoretical Contribution/Originality: The research's originality stems from its application of a theoretical framework to a specific sector that is often overlooked in the broader literature on leadership and employee performance. Keywords: Leadership Style, Work Environment, Work Motivation, Employee Performance

Abstract

Research Aim: This research aims to determine the influence of content quality and personalization on continuous intention to subscribe to Netflix through the mediation of perceived value by following stimulus-organism-response (S-O-R) theory. Design/methodology/approach: This study adopts an explanatory research design employing a quantitative methodology. Non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique was utilized, involving a total of 170 respondents consist of Indonesian Netflix users aged 18 or older, who have a monthly subscription and have been subscribing for at least 3 months. The collected data were processed using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) method with SmartPLS4. Hypothesis testing used a bootstrapping system to obtain p-values. Research Findings: The research results show that in the context of Indonesian OTT consumers (1) the content quality and perceived value variables have a positive and significant direct influence on continuous intention to subscribe, and (2) the perceived value variable fully mediates the influence of personalization on the continuous intention to subscribe. Theoretical Contribution/Originality: These results align with the theoretical concept of SOR, which posits that the stimuli in technological environments affect customers' internal states and, in turn, influence their behavioral responses. Keywords: Content quality; personalization; perceived value; continuous intention to subscribe.

Abstract

Research Aims: This study investigates the impact of company qualities and financial performance on underpricing (initial return) in firms undergoing initial public offerings from 2020 to 2023, with underwriter reputation moderating in this relationship. Design/methodology/approach: The study employed purposive sampling as the sampling strategy. The analysis technique used in this research is to use SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis. Research Findings: The study's findings suggest that profitability and finance leverage have a detrimental impact on underpricing. Company Size and Company Age have no impact on Underpricing. Underwriter reputation can influence the impact of Return On Assets on Underpricing, but it does not affect the impact of Age, Size, and Equity Ratio of the Company on Underpricing. Firm size, age, return on assets, debt-to-equity ratio, and underwriter reputation are the variables that lead to underpricing. Theoretical Contribution/Originality: This study examines how underwriter reputation influences initial return and other parameters, including the debt-to-equity ratio, company age, organisation size, and return on assets. Prior studies used underwriter repute as an independent variable. This study's implications pertain to the initial market bidding activities of companies preparing to go public and other stakeholders interested in investigating factors affecting initial return. These stakeholders include potential investors considering the initial public offering, companies planning to go public, and researchers conducting further studies on this subject.

The sampling technique using purposive sampling technique resulted in 51 company observations. The analysis techniques used are Descriptive Statistical Analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) as moderated regression analysis. The data analysis technique uses IBM SPSS Statistics 25 software.). Research Findings: The results of hypothesis testing show that liquidity and leverage have an effect on earnings quality, while company size has no effect on earnings quality. Profitability moderates the influence of leverage and company size on earnings quality, but is unable to moderate the positive influence of liquidity on earnings quality.
