Abstract

Issues on gender issues are issues that have long existed both in Indonesia and in other countries, in essence gender issues are issues that demand equality between men and women, this is actually the right of every citizen because both the people men and women are one and the same citizen and protected by the state constitution. The purpose of the study is to refer to things that are to be achieved in a study. The goal to be achieved is to know the performance of female members in the North Sumatra provincial DPRD and find out what factors hinder the performance of female members of the DPRD North Sumatra Province. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method. The performance of women legislative members in carrying out their duties and authority can be seen in this period in achieving superiority or fighting for women's rights In the DPRD of North Sumatra Province it is quite good.

Abstract

Village Fund Allocation is a fund allocated by the Regency / City Government for the Village sourced from the central and regional financial balance funds received by the Regency / City. Village Fund Management is also not balanced by adequate resources so that the implementation of Human Resources from the apparatus is still not good in terms of skills, expertise and education so that the Village Government Apparatus find it difficult to manage the Village Fund, Low Village Fund Absorption by the Village Government, Village Government Officials who hold concurrent positions in the Village Government bureaucracy. The purpose of this research is to find out the process and factors that hamper the implementation of village fund allocation policies. The implementation of the village fund allocation policy in Pokan Baru Village, Hutabayu Raja District, Simalungun Regency is not good. The quality of human resources from the village head office staff who are still inferior in terms of education and mastering technology is still low so that the implementation of the village fund allocation is not optimal and the human resources of the new pokan village community which is still lacking causes the lack of manpower to carry out the development slow . Disposition of new pokan village head office employees to collaborate is still not good, causing implementation to be slow.

Abstract

Human resources become the most important part in the survival of a company. Human resources are the most valuable investment and  the ultimate foundation of a company's survival. One aspect to the success of the company can be seen from the policy of the leader of a problem in this case how the recruitment system established by the company whether to promote most of the employees from within the organization or lift from the outside to fill the void  at  all  levels.  In  addition,  whether  the  emphasis  is  on  just  filling  vacancies  or appointments for long-term purposes.The purpose of this study to determine the effectiveness of employee recruitment at gas stations COCO Pertamina Retail Medan.The criterion or indicator   of   the   effectiveness   of   Tangkilisan,   (2005:   141),   among   others,   Target Achievement, Adaptation Capacity (Flexibility), Job Satisfaction, Responsibility. This research is in the form of descriptive qualitative research which the writer do interview technique. Based on Results Of Research That Has Been Spoken, Then Writers Can Draw Conclusions Outline that, Effectiveness Recruitment Staff at Gas Station COCO Pertamina Retail Medan Quite Effective.

Abstract

Village Owned Enterprises is a village business entity managed by the community and village government in an effort to strengthen the village economy formed based on the needs and potential of the village. With the existence of Act No. 6 of Article 87 paragraph 1 of 2014 explains, the Village can establish a Village Owned Enterprises. The community hopes BUMDes can drive the village economy. Economic assets in the village must be fully managed by the villagers through the BUMDes program. In this research using qualitative descriptive method, Researchers get some data from the results of observations and interviews conducted in Bangai Village. The existence of BUMDes is undeniable to bring economic and social change. BUMDes contribution mainly in the form of Village Original Income, where the net profit of BUMDes is allocated for village income. Based on the results of research related to the role of Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) empowering the community in Bangai Village, Torgamba District, Labuhan Batu Selatan District concluded that Bangai Jaya BUMDes has been instrumental in empowering the economy of the village community especially the poor, the role of BUMDes empower the community through the business that provides equipment agriculture where payment can be paid in stages.

methods). So in this study the authors used a combination sequential explanatory design method. In the quantitative method the independent variable in this study is the level of education, while the dependent variable is the performance of the village head. This research is a survey research. The sample used in this study was 19 respondents who worked as village heads who were determined by using sampling techniques for specific purposes (purposive sampling). Data analysis using correlation techniques to determine the effect of the independent and dependent variables partially used t test. Meanwhile, to determine the effect of the independent and dependent variables simultaneously, the F test is used. The results of this study indicate that with a significant level of p = 0.05 simultaneously and partially the level of education variable affects the performance of the Village Head in Pantai Labu District, Deli Serdang Regency. Whereas in the Qualitative Method, the Data Collection Technique using the Interview Technique, which will then make a comparison between Quantitative and Qualitative Data Analysis, whether there are differences or even similarities.

Abstract

Sprawl is an issue that must be faced by the government especially the social city of medan, because of sprawl have been considered as a profession pekerajaan that easy, even want to be criminal and disturb the comfort of society as well as interfere with riders with how to write with a windshield. This is a task of the city of medan to services vagabonds and beggars in the city of medan. The research is to determine the extent the implementation of the regulatio ns the city of medan, number 6 years 2003 and anything that is in their implementation. The method used is the method of quantitative, researchers used the theory of Edward III said that fator the implementation of communication, resources, disposition, and the structure of bureaucracy. The results of the investigators are social services has served her purpose in accordance with the theory, the researchers just not optimally and there are obstacles faced and that is the lack of awareness which is owned by the community in providing something and be seen from the resources there is still a shortage of facilities and infrastructure in the implementation of, such as the absence of safe houses and the lack of a patrol car owned. To the city of medan should ask the revision of regulations number 6 in 2003, in order to be more effective and rational in answering the problems sprawl in the city of medan and be able to meet the needs of facilities and infrastructure to the implementation of the running on as planned.

Abstract

Interpersonal communication is needed in retail. Salesperson Activity can not be separated from communication with consumers. This study describes how the interpersonal communication of salesperson in applying SUKSES service standards in Sports Station Medan Mall.  This study aims to determine the effectiveness of salesperson interpersonal communication in implementing SUKSES service standards. This study used a qualitative approach in which the source of data is four of Sports Station Medan Mall salesperson, one supervisor and two customers. Data collected through direct observation in the store, in - depth interviews with sources and literature. Proceed with interactive data analysis techniques starting from data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/ verificaton. From these results it can be seen that, the role of interpersonal communication is very important in the implementation of SUKSES service standards. The results of this research are we can know how the way they communicate, that is greet customer, customer approach, analyzing the needs of consumers, merchandise offers, and to thank and invite customers to come back. Interpersonal communication adopted by the salesperson is not only verbal, but also nonverbal.

Abstract

Marnasibesan is one of kinship owned by simalungun tribe. Besan on the simalungun tribe is a call for wife-in-law. In the community life simalungun interceptor actors have limitations in communicating directly. In the tradition of indigenous tribes simalungun there is a term marmalang which means mutual or more reluctant to lead to avoidance or restrictions. This study describes how the meaning of the ban or the term Marsimalangan Tradition on interpersonal communication antarbesan on the simalungun tribe in Hutabayu Siolmut Kecamatan Raya Kahean Kabupaten Simalungun District and describe the shift of meaning that occurs in the ban or simalungun tradition at the present time. In obtaining the results of this study, the authors use qualitative methods or use interviewing techniques by interviewing to all informants considered important in providing information for the purposes of this study. The results of this study showed that interpersonal communication antarbesan in the simalungun tribe indeed has limitations in communicating. The limitations of communicating because of the existence of the Marsimalangan Tradition contains a prohibition that must be applied to every interpersonal perpetrator. The existing prohibition has a meaning that is as a mark of respect to nassibesan. But at the present time the prohibition that exists in the Marsimalangan Tradition is no longer carried out completely. The Simalungun community, especially inter-villagers in This Hutabayu is started to use and add the word Nai or Nassi in communicating with his besan. Simalungun people think using the word Nai or Nassi this process of communication antarbesan not as difficult as before, but in the interaction process respect to besan remain awake and try not to speak in vain.

Abstract

The total population of 47,642 people is not effective if only one Nagari/Village is served, so expansion is believed to be one solution that can handle the problem of suboptimal services. In addition to expansion, excellent service must also be implemented, excellent service can be assessed from the following indicators: simplicity, clarity and certainty, security, openness, efficiency, economy, equitable justice, punctuality. From the description above, the author conducted research on the impact of the expansion of Nagari in improving public services to the people of Nagari Ujung Gading, Lembah Melintang District, West Pasaman Regency. The formulation of the research problem that became the author's reference is How the Impact of the Expansion of Nagari in Improving Public Services to the People of Nagari Ujung Gading, Lembah Melintang District, West Pasaman Regency. This research is a qualitative research with data collection techniques using literature and field research such as interviews, observations, documentation. Data analysis using the cycle method from Miles and Hubermann, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Research informants are Wali Nagari Ujung Gading, Head of Government of Nagari Ujung Gading, Nagari Ujung Gading Community. The result of the research is that the expansion has no impact on the service, because the service is in accordance with the indicators of excellent service.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of finger print attendance in improving employee work discipline at the Medan Plantation Education Institute in terms of attendance levels, convenience and comfort in the attendance process, providing complete information / reports to leaders, and applying finger print attendance to make it easier for superiors. to see the level of attendance and work discipline of each employee. The results showed that the application of finger print attendance has not been able to improve employee work discipline, seen from the target achievement after the application of finger print attendance has not been achieved, where it is known that many employees are not disciplined in work such as arriving late to the office. Adaptability, employees already understand the rules for using finger print attendance and are able to adjust from manual attendance to finger print attendance. Job satisfaction for employees, the Medan Plantation Education Institute has provided comfort and motivation for employees to improve their performance. While the responsibilities of the employees of the Medan Plantation Education Institute have not increased, there are still many employees who come late to the office
