Abstract

Clinical Pathways is a measurement tool for hospitals to deliver health services in maintaining quality and monitoring costs. Dengue fever is a tropical infectious disease with typical symptoms that should have standardized treatment patterns. However, in RSIA Kenari Graha Medika, the treatment of dengue fever cases is considered not efficient and effective enough. This study aims to determine the compliance rate in the implementation of Clinical Pathway for pediatric patients with a diagnosis of Dengue Fever at RSIA Kenari Graha Medika. The method used was qualitative with descriptive observational using Clinical Pathway compliance form data from medical records and hospital information systems from September 2022 to February 2023. Inclusion criteria were pediatric patients who were treated with a single diagnosis of Dengue Fever in accordance with WHO clinical criteria, namely Fever, Malaise, Peripheral bleeding disorders and had laboratory examination results with Platelet values below 100,000 / mm3. The things that are assessed in Clinical Pathways compliance are length of stay, administration of therapy and supporting examinations. Based on the results of the study LOS has no influence on clinical pathway. Meanwhile, pharmacy and lab showed that pharmacy and lab had a positive and significant effect on clinical pathway. It is hoped that there will be further research related to this study, namely looking for the relationship of the lack of compliance rates with the costs incurred during treatment.

Abstract

This research investigates the application of the Reception Theory and Reception Theory A Contrario in the context of minority and majority Muslim communities in Indonesia. Through literature studies, case analyses, interviews, and contrastive analysis, this research aims to understand the impact of using both of these theories on the social reality in regions with different characteristics. The research results indicate that, although they hold academic value, the Reception Theory and Reception Theory A Contrario are not in line with the factual conditions of society in Indonesia, particularly in Aceh and Bali. The application of these theories has the potential to create conflicts between the majority and minority Muslim communities. Therefore, the author concludes that the Reception Theory and Reception Theory A Contrario should not be used as the main theories or references in regulating the application of Islamic law in Indonesia. Instead, a more inclusive approach is needed that can accommodate the cultural and religious diversity in Indonesia. This research provides a new contribution to the discussion on the relevance of Islamic law theories in the multicultural social context of Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to propose a fresh perspective on ASEAN's non-intervention principle through the analysis of the Rohingya case. The Rohingya case represents a humanitarian crisis complexity in the Myanmar region that necessitates serious consideration from ASEAN as a regional body. This research employs a multidisciplinary approach involving political analysis, international law, and international relations theory. The study argues that ASEAN's non-intervention principle should not be interpreted as a reluctance to intervene in cases of human rights violations that threaten regional security. Instead, the research advocates for a more proactive and responsive approach from ASEAN towards humanitarian situations resulting in mass suffering, such as the Rohingya case. The findings of this research provide new insights into how ASEAN can modernize its approach to the non-intervention principle, emphasizing the importance of human rights protection as an integral part of regional stability and peace. This research also proposes concrete recommendations regarding steps that ASEAN can take in addressing similar cases in the future, thereby strengthening ASEAN's role and relevance in the context of global humanitarian issues.
