Abstract

leadership style, work effectiveness, and career development are three of several factors that are thought to be relatively large in influencing employee performance at BNN Bogor Regency with motivation as an intervention variable. The research was conducted at BNN Bogor Regency by taking a sample of 85 respondents who were calculated using the Saturated Sempel formula. Methods of data collection with the questionnaire method where the data processed is primary data obtained by data analysis method with multiple linear regression analysis. To determine employee performance can be measured by the variables of leadership style, work effectiveness, and career development and motivation as interventions. The results of this study indicate that leadership style, work effectiveness, and career development and motivation as intervening influence employee performance. this is evidenced by the value of Sig 0.000 > 0.05, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected Ha is accepted, so the conclusion is partially leadership style, work effectiveness, and career development and motivation as interventions that affect employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims to explore policing strategies in the prevention of online gambling crimes. The focus of this paper is to identify the characteristics and development of online gambling crimes, the factors that contribute to the implementation of the crime prevention strategy at the Directorate of Cyber Crime of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, and the ideal policing strategy in preventing such crimes. The theoretical perspectives used in this research are Sittuational Crime Prevention theory and Partnership Theory. The results of this study explain that in efforts to prevent online gambling crimes, development is needed related to various strategies and approaches in preventing these crimes, this is because the development of online gambling that has occurred today cannot be matched by crime prevention efforts carried out by the Police and related Government Institutions.

Abstract

Online multiplayer video games have emerged as a significant social platform, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, offering solace and community for many individuals, particularly young people. However, alongside the benefits, online gaming environments have also become breeding grounds for toxic behaviours, disproportionately affecting minority groups within the gaming community, such as women. This study explores toxic behaviours within the competitive gaming environment of Valorant, focusing on communication-based toxicity experienced by female players. Through participative observation and analysis of game recordings, the study identifies various forms of toxicity, including verbal abuse, gender-based harassment, and sexual innuendos. Findings reveal a reluctance among female players to use voice communication due to fear of harassment, perpetuating gender stereotypes and marginalising women within the gaming community. Moreover, the phenomenon of smurfing exacerbates issues within the community, contributing to heightened frustration and hostility, particularly towards minority players. Addressing toxic behaviours in online gaming requires a comprehensive approach involving game developers, community initiatives, and education efforts to promote inclusivity and respect. By fostering a culture of mutual respect, the gaming community can create a safer and more welcoming environment for all players.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the production performance of Isa Brown laying hens who are given finished feed and mixed feed. Research materials include finished feed for laying hens 524AX produced by PT. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia, and mixed feed consisting of a special layer concentrate super 36 SPR added yellow corn and bran. The study was conducted for 4 weeks in Suruhwadang Village, Kademangan District, Blitar Regency. The method used in the study was a survey and observation with the number of samples taken as many as 180 laying hens Isa Brown aged 44 weeks. The variables observed in the study were feed consumption, hen day production (HDP) and feed conversion (Feed Conversion Ratio). The data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis and the test conducted was a t-test of 2 samples using SPSS software version 2.6 to compare production performance given finished feed and mixed feed. The results showed the performance of finished feed production for feed consumption: 113gr/head/day; HDP: 86.50%; FCR: 2.09. While laying hens are given mixed feed as follows: feed consumption: 112.47gr / head / day; HDP: 83.80% FCR: 2.11. The variable results of feed consumption and FCR from finished feed and mixed feed did not differ markedly while HDP from finished feed and mixed feed differed markedly. The conclusion of the results of the study is that Isa Brown laying hens that are given finished feed have more advantages than nutritional content compared to mixed feed, such as amino acids. The finished feed has a crumble shape that is preferred by livestock compared to mixed feed l finer than crumble. This leads to a little more feed consumption than mixed feed.

Abstract

The curriculum is a central element in the education system that plays an important role in determining the direction and goals of education. A quality and relevant curriculum is the key to producing young people who are competent and able to answer future challenges. In an ever-evolving global context, the dynamics of change and demands on education systems are increasingly complex. This encourages the need for continuous curriculum adjustment and development. Effective curriculum development cannot be done in isolation from education policy. The right education policy is the foundation for the formulation of a quality and future-oriented curriculum. This study aims to provide input and enrich understanding of the systematics of policy problem formulation, policy alternatives and policy recommendations in influencing the development of the educational curriculum and assisting education stakeholders in the process of developing an educational curriculum. This research is qualitative research using literature study methods or literature research. The formulation of policy problems, policy alternatives, and policy recommendations are three important elements that are interrelated and have a significant influence on policy making. Public policies are detailed so as to be able to find which things are important in making decisions. Education policy is a part of public policy that is closely related and influences each other.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the levels of borax in snacks sold in primary schools (SD) scattered across Lenek Daya Village, West Nusa Tenggara. The sampling method was conducted using purposive sampling from all primary schools in the village, followed by qualitative analysis of borax using turmeric paper. Furthermore, samples indicated positive for containing borax were analyzed for their levels based on the alkalimetric titration method. The results showed that there were 3 samples indicated positive for containing borax, namely sample A1 with a borax level of 819.8 ppm; B1 at 1175 ppm, and sample D1 at 1360.2 ppm. These findings indicate the potential existence of food safety issues among primary school children in Lenek Daya Village. Therefore, steps to enhance supervision and control of food quality in the school environment need to be increased to ensure the safety of children's snack consumption.

Abstract

An overview of important aspects of food safety in the restaurant industry by outlining the significant threat of microbial contamination in food processing and the subsequent health implications that can arise from foodborne illness. This article underscores the need for strict management and hygiene practices to mitigate these risks. In addition, it highlights the important role of preventive measures, particularly the adoption of food safety management systems such as HACCP, which play a role in identifying and controlling potential hazards in food production and preparation processes. In addition, the impact of customer feedback can affect a restaurant's reputation and customer satisfaction levels. Overall, it emphasized the importance of routine food safety practices and the proactive role of restaurant management in maintaining public health and maintaining consumer trust.

Abstract

Determining learning strategies in schools is a very important thing for teachers to do so that learning objectives can be achieved optimally. The learning strategy is an attempt to convey knowledge to students. Because the realization of good learning cannot be separated from how to design learning strategies. So that it can guide students to achieve an understanding of the material presented. This study aims to find out the description of the assessment of learning strategies applied in Darek village Islamic middle school, to find out the description of the implementation of learning strategies in Darek village Islamic Middle school whether it is in accordance with the needs and abilities of students, to find out the efforts of teachers and educators when getting students who have low abilities in learning. The method used in this research is qualitative. The data collection technique in this study was by interviewing teachers at the school. The results of the study show that the implementation of the learning strategies that have been implemented are in accordance with the needs and abilities of students, than there are two learning strategies that have been implemented, namely: 1) the strategy of the expository learning model (lecture model), in which the teacher gives material to students using the lecture model and then proceeds with a question and answer system or discussion. 2) Cooperative learning model strategy, the teacher forms small groups so that students can work together in teams, and the learning outcomes can be presented in front of the class. Teachers also provide special guidance to students who have low abilities in learning.

Abstract

Abstract PT Pertamina Refinery Unit VI Balongan has made a significant contribution in providing good income for PT Pertamina and the state. A large number of petroleum processing products produced daily cause a high risk of fire. Fires and explosions at oil refineries are still common even though major oil companies have occupational safety and health systems in place. Monitoring errors and the absence of re-evaluation of established companies for a long time are the reasons why this can happen. This research uses a descriptive approach through literature studies to collect data and obtain the necessary information by studying various journals, conference proceedings, books, and written references. The results of the research were obtained by PT Pertamina Refinery Unit VI Balongan, which applies several rules regarding work safety from ISO 45001: 2018 based on technical and non-technical aspects. In the technical aspect, the rules include the installation of warning signs and signs, noise, temperature, lighting intensity and personal safety equipment. Meanwhile, the regulations include administration and licensing as Safe Work Permits in non-technical aspects. However, based on several parameters of the application of ISO 45001: 2018, aspects that do not meet the standards are found and can be a problem, resulting in the potential for fire. This study concluded that PT Pertamina Refinery Unit VI Balongan must be able to provide firmness in implementing work safety rules or procedures for its employees.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the marketing management of Islamic educational institutions at the Darul 'Ilmi Indonesia Islamic Boarding School. This research uses qualitative research methods. This research was carried out at an Islamic boarding school, namely the Darul Ilmi Indonesia Modern Islamic Boarding School, which is located on Jl. Raya Puncak Gadog, Pandan Sari Village, West Java, RT.01/RW.03, Ciawi, Kab. Bogor, West Java 16720. Primary data sources were obtained through interview activities with resource persons from the leadership of the Darul Ilmi Indonesia Modern Islamic Boarding School, teaching and education staff, santri guardians, and santri. Data analysis uses the Miles and Hubberman model by reducing, verifying and drawing conclusions. From the research results, it can be concluded that the competitive advantage of modern Islamic boarding school or Islamic boarding school programs can be presented by prioritizing the quality of the educational programs offered. The quality of an educational program is of course reflected through the input, output, process and educational outcomes achieved.
