Abstract

Bedog’s sub-watershed (SubDAS) underwent a change in land use, an increase in water discharge, a scarcity in irrigation, and a need to preserve water resources. The aim of the research is to identify the impact of land use changes on water discharge, evaluate the adequacy of agricultural irrigation water, and evaluate water conservation efforts. This research uses quantitative approach to examine rainfall, river debit, and map of changes in land use through ArcGIS; and qualitative approach to see irrigation sufficiency and water preservation. A rational method is also used to analyse flood discharge and classification of flow regime coefficient to determine sub-watershed quality. Findings in this research includes: an increase in coefficient value of land use by 4.29% as well as in the peak runoff (two-year return period) by 13.75 m3/s – both in the span of 2013-2022 – a high coefficient value of flow regime and a decrease in irrigation discharge, hence the urgency to improve water resources’ mechanical conservation.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to explore the Dynamic Capability Pattern, furthermore to observe how motivational and sociological factors impact the occurrence of stagnancy of MSMEs in Indonesia. Design/Methodology/Approach – A qualitative approach is applied with Open Questions Interviews towards 10 (ten) MSME actors in Indonesia who represent a range of industries including food and beverage, fashion retail, and the chemical raw materials sector The findings of this study underscore several key points: SMEs consistently exhibit dynamic capabilities, particularly in the stages of sensing and seizing opportunities, however they frequently encounter challenges when striving to advance to a transformational stage. Continuous engagement in sensing and seizing cycles is crucial for MSMEs to prosper and progress to the next level of development. However, underdeveloped SMEs encounter challenges in re-engaging these cycles effectively. Mentorship from experienced communities or business groups can enhance SMEs' willingness and ability to pursue further development. Motivational and sociological factors play a significant role in influencing dynamic capabilities within Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. Research Limitations - As a qualitative study, this research used a limited sample of participants from the Food & Beverage, and Fashion retail sectors to acquire insights. Therefore, it is highly recommended that future research be conducted on a larger scale, involving a more diverse range of participants from various business sectors, to validate the cyclical patterns and factors influencing the Dynamic Capabilities of MSMEs in Indonesia. To the best of the author's understanding and knowledge, employing a qualitative approach in this research marks an early effort to thoroughly comprehend the consistency of Dynamic Capability Pattern, motivational and sociological forces that shape the decisions of MSMEs regarding their potential transformation.

Abstract

Walkability is one part of realizing sustainable and livable city planning and design. The education area is one of the areas in urban areas that has a complex and dynamic level of problems. The attraction of the educational function in an area causes a high movement of people and goods so that in its development various commercial functions grow in it. The M.A Turungku road corridor is part of the education area in Buol City. In the corridor there are various educational functions starting from the elementary, secondary, to upper levels. The pull of the existence of the educational function in the M.A Turungku road corridor has resulted in the growth of commercial functions followed by its impact on the decline in environmental quality. The decline in the quality of the physical environment that occurs in the M.A Turungku road corridor has an impact on the comfort of walking activities, especially for students in the corridor. Therefore, in this study, the improvement of walkability in the M.A Turungku road corridor will be studied through a human-scale approach based on student activities. The research approach uses a rationalistic approach with data collection techniques through systematic observation. The results of this study show that the comfort level of human sensing when walking on the M.A Turungku road corridor gets an uncomfortable value. Meanwhile, in the results of the analysis of pedestrian movements and behavior, during the day in segment 2 of the M.A Turungku road corridor, outdoor activities occur very dynamically where main activities, additional activities, and follow-up activities of pedestrians are formed.

Abstract

The research was conducted using normative legal research methods, which were carried out through literature research and literature studies and the approach used in conducting this research was a statutory approach and a conceptual approach, to elements in the tax law system. The research found that the position of the Fiscus in Indonesia which has absolute power in determining the amount of tax and decisions on taxpayer objections according to Law Number 28 of 2007 does not provide fair legal certainty and does not reflect the principle of equal legal position as stipulated in Article 27 paragraph (1) of the 1945 Constitution, because of the risk of tax penalties of 30% to 100% due to defeat in objections and appeals. Unlike the United States, which has three tax courts with FOI principles, and Australia, which provides neutral mediation through the ATO and internal and external settlement channels, Indonesia needs to improve fiscal justice by fulfilling taxpayers' rights such as the rights to information, guidance, hearing, appeal, certainty, privacy, and confidentiality. The principles of fairness, effectiveness, and ease of administration are important to increase tax capacity and ensure taxpayers can carry out their obligations properly.

The purpose of the study is to analyze the policy process of the requirement for the election of the President of 20 percent of the House of Representatives seats or obtaining 25 percent of the valid votes nationally in the previous election of members of the House of Representatives and how the pros and cons are in the House of Representatives. This study uses a qualitative research method. Research that uses qualitative methods is research that interprets data by giving meaning to the data obtained. In this study, there are two data collection techniques using primary and secondary data sources that are complementary in explanating the discussion in this study. As a result, political conflicts arise because of the presidential threshold in the 2017 Election Law. It divides the actors between those who support deletion and those who resist. Political parties, community activists, and new groups are involved. The conflict reflects the battle of interests between the old and new political oligarchs. Petitions for removal often fail due to a lack of constitutional support.

Abstract

The voter list in each election certainly has a degree of change for the better with the aim of having an accurate, comprehensive and up-to-date voter list. However, problems in the preparation of voter lists still continue to occur in the 2024 election. The purpose of this study is to find out the Implementation of the 2024 Election Voter List Preparation Policy in South Tangerang City. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study model. The results of this study show that the wider the degree of change expected and the many interests and strategies of the actors involved are obstacles to the success of a policy. On the other hand, the relationship between actors in the context of policy is an important factor in the success of policy. The lack of relationships between actors is a determinant factor in the occurrence of conflicts between the actors involved. The lower the relationship between the actors involved makes it difficult to implement policies.
