Abstract

This study aims to examine the policies implemented by the Batam City Government in responding to food security in the city. The research method used is descriptive and qualitative for the study. The results of the study identified sub-districts such as Batu Legong, Temoyong, and Bulang Lintang as the main priorities that require serious attention from the government. Food facilities and infrastructure in these sub-districts need to be strengthened through adequate allocation of resources and budgets. The audience, as key stakeholders, play a crucial role in implementing these recommendations. In addition, an in-depth evaluation also needs to be carried out on the condition of food infrastructure in sub-districts with lower levels of vulnerability. Sustainable food assistance programs and collaboration with the private sector and civil society are strategic steps in improving overall food security. Nutrition counseling and education to the community are also important to improve understanding of healthy eating patterns. The conclusion is that 33 sub-districts in Batam City still lack facilities and infrastructure to provide food. Keywords: Indicators, Food Security Concept, Public Policy

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of BUMN administration in driving innovation and business transformation. The research method is a descriptive-analytical approach, which utilizes secondary data from literature, financial reports, and other related documents. The study results indicate that the BUMN administration significantly drives innovation and business transformation in Indonesia. The following describes the main findings: BUMN administration has played an essential role in formulating and implementing long-term innovation strategies. They effectively allocate budget and personnel resources to support innovative projects. Collaboration between BUMN, the private sector, and academics in developing creative solutions is increasing. This indicates the ability of the BUMN administration to build strategic partnerships. BUMN administration also plays an active role in proposing and implementing policies that support an innovation climate. However, the study also identified several implementation challenges, such as resistance to change and rigid bureaucracy. In conclusion, innovation driven by the BUMN administration positively impacts the financial performance and global competitiveness of BUMN, indicating the success of the business transformation efforts carried out. Abstract

This study aims to investigate the technology adoption strategy by MSMEs in Batam City in facing digital transformation. The research problem discusses the importance of technology mastery for MSMEs and the challenges and opportunities faced in adopting digital technology. The research method used is descriptive qualitative through participatory observation and in-depth interviews with MSME actors. The study results show that education, training, and collaboration are the main strategies for strengthening MSMEs' technology adoption. Education and training help MSMEs understand the potential of technology to increase efficiency and competitiveness, while collaboration with various parties provides access to the necessary resources and support. In conclusion, investment in technology mastery and building collaboration is the key to the growth and sustainability of MSMEs in this digital era, enabling them to develop and compete in an increasingly complex and competitive market. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the content of YouTube Batarbangan as a medium for disseminating information to the people of Balangan Regency. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative research, and the analysis method uses content analysis. Researchers collect data through interviews, observations, and documentation. Researchers use purposive sampling techniques to select data sources based on predetermined criteria. One informant from the Batarbangan production team and two informants from the Balangan Regency community who watch Batarbangan content. Batarbangan content is produced using established standard operating procedures. In conclusion, the YouTube channel Media Center Pemkab Balangan has become essential in disseminating information to the people of Balangan Regency. Abstract

This study aims to prove that marketing communications conducted by PT. Pinang Mas Bersaudara can attract consumer purchasing interest. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires from 25 consumers who have transacted with PT. Pinang Mas Bersaudara. The results of the study found that marketing communications have a significant influence on consumer purchasing interest. This finding provides a deep understanding of the importance of marketing communications strategies in shaping consumer purchasing interest. Abstract

This research examines the existence of LGBT behavior in the Spongebob Squarepants film in episode 49b with the rock-a-bye bivalve theme. This film also presents stories, events, music and other studies on the film Spongebob Squarepants, a cartoon film that is widely watched and loved by children. Written by Stephen Hillenburg and directed by Sean Dempsey. This research is aimed at gaining a deeper understanding of LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) behavior towards transgender people. This research is a qualitative descriptive research, where this research will analyze, take notes, take pictures and interpret each meaning of the word dialogue. The method used in this research uses Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic analysis which uses the theory of three main elements, namely signs, reference signs (Objects) and user signs (Interpretation). there are four scenes from several other scenes. From the results of the research, there were found baby shells, showing off in terms of clothing, doing housewife work and wearing purple dresses while looking after the baby. Through the character Spongebob, this film shows how he acts as a housewife and Patrick as a father who does not participate in helping Spongebob with his work. Apart from that, there is a sign meaning that appears in each selected scene, there is a Transgender sign from the film Spongebob Squarepants which expresses their gender identity through the way they speak, act, dress and style their hair. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the use of Facebook social media and low interpersonal communication among adolescents in Todanga Village, Kapontori District. The method in this study uses quantitative research. The results of the study indicate that there is a strong relationship between the use of Facebook and low interpersonal communication, with a correlation coefficient value of 0.598, by the interpretation of the correlation coefficient value of 0.50-0.75 which is considered strong. The contribution of Facebook use to low interpersonal communication reaches 74.7%, while 25.3% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. The t-test shows that the use of Facebook has a significant effect on low interpersonal communication among adolescents in Todanga Village, which means that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. In conclusion, there is a significant influence of the use of Facebook social media on low interpersonal communication. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program in Indonesia to improve the quality of higher education and provide opportunities for students to gain broader learning experiences. This program allows students to take courses outside their study program, do internships in industry, teach in schools, conduct research, and run humanitarian projects. The research method applied is a literature study approach, where data is collected from journal articles. In this study, the author used a qualitative descriptive method. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively with the help of Nvivo 12 software. The implementation of the MBKM program runs well if there is cooperation between students, lecturers, and educators in implementing the program. After the MBKM program began, many lecturers and students did not understand the essence of the MBKM policy. Therefore, information about the MBKM policy still needs to be optimized. Abstract

This study aims to determine the omnichannel marketing strategy of fast food restaurants and analyze the connectivity patterns of millennial generation consumers with fast food products. The location of the study was in Malang City with the research object of 3 largest fast food restaurants in Malang City. The sample of this study was millennial generation consumers born in 1980-1999 totaling 300 people. The data analysis method used a descriptive approach with data collection through literature studies and interviews using questionnaires. The study results showed that the omnichannel scenario in the three fast food restaurants was webrooming. The connectivity that occurs between millennial generation consumers and fast food products is dominant through communication channels and sales channels in the form of online media (social media and ordering via online motorcycle taxi applications).
