Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of price and location on student decisions in school selection (Case Study at SMA Mulia Buana-Parung Panjang, Bogor Regency) partially and simultaneously. This study uses quantitative associative research methods and the population that is used as the object of this research is the whole sample using the saturated sample technique, namely the students of class X SMA Mulia Buana totaling 52 students. The results of this study simultaneously have a significant positive effect between price and location on the decisions of SMA Mulia Buana students. The results of the correlation coefficient (R) of 0.738 which means that there is a strong correlation or relationship between price, and location has a strong relationship to student decisions. The coefficient of determination is 54.5%, so price and location can contribute 54.5% to student decisions while the rest is influenced by other factors. The multiple linear regression equation Y= 3.986 + 0.596 X1 + 0.290 X2. And the results of the Hypothesis Test (F test) of 25.925 > 3.19 and significant 0.000 < 0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted which means that the price (X1) and location (X2) simultaneously have a significant effect on the decisions of high school students (Y) Mulia Buana Parung Panjang-Bogor.

Abstract

Online sirri marriage is a marriage which is organized through skype or other social media without documentation from the marriage registration council. So far, the practice of online sirri marriage in Indonesia is very apprehensive and to be serious problem in the society. It happened because the regulation that control marriage which is stated in law (UU) of marriage and compilation of Islamic law tend to be ignored. The requirement of the guardian (Wali) as regulated by Islamic law is ignored. However, the online sirri marriage is organized by involving marriage celebrant (penghulu) as magistrate guardian (wali hakim) who married off which is not detected by the woman's parents, her guardian, and marriage registrar. The practice of online siri marriage is performed by using skype media and other social media that the face of penghulu and the two brides can be seen directly. The consequences that will arise are uncertainty of law and law protection, especially for women and children who could not claim their rights when family conflict occurred. This kind of marriage is legal (sah) when it is implemented in accordance with the rules and prerequisites in Islamic law. However, the phenomenon of sirri marriage which is performed arbitrarily contradicts the Islamic law, because the completeness one of the pillars of marriage that is involvement of guardians is not fulfilled as well as many mafsadah occurs. In addition, online sirri marriage is also not recognized by the state, because it could not be proven by the marriage certificate.

Abstract

Moringa (Moringa oleifera) is a plant that contains many functional compounds that are useful for supporting human health, especially for prevention and overcoming degenerative diseases due to the influence of unfavorable conditions and environment. The purpose of this study is to obtain facts and information about the degradation pattern of functional values of the compounds contained therein, namely vitamin C, β-carotene, and antioxidant activity after the drying process. While the aim is to optimize the handling and processing of Moringa leaves into powder to be more useful in preventing and overcoming certain diseases, so as to maintain human health. The research methodology that has been carried out includes preliminary research, namely analyzing or testing the content of vitamin C, β-carotene, and antioxidant activity in fresh Moringa leaves. The main research used a randomized block design (RBD) which consisted of two factors, namely treatment before drying (TBD) and drying temperature. The variable response was a decrease in the content of vitamin C, β-carotene, and antioxidant activity of Moringa leaf powder after drying. The results of the study the factors of treatment before drying (TBD) and drying temperature showed a significant effect on decreasing the content of vitamin C, β-carotene, and antioxidant activity. The higher the drying temperature the content of vitamin C, β-carotene, and antioxidant activity decreases. Processing of Moringa leaves into powder using the lowest possible drying temperature can reduce the reduction in the content of functional compounds.

The respondents interviewed were 13 garlic farmers. The data then were analyzed by income analysis and calculation of the R/C ratio. The results showed that the largest average income was the garlic farming business with an intercropping pattern of Rp. 33,903,475. Meanwhile, R/C ratio in garlic farming with an intercropping pattern (2.17) is larger than that in cropping pattern monoculture (1.71). It indicated that garlic farming using an intercropping pattern was more profitable than a monoculture cropping pattern.

Data were obtained through literature studies, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and data documentation from related parties. The data obtained were cross-checked and triangulated so that their validity was well maintained. Furthermore, the data is processed by grouping it according to the formulation of the research problem. While the analysis is carried out through logical thinking by looking for the relationship between data and information in order to obtain the effectiveness and efficiency of the object of research. The results of the study indicate that the management of the Employee PFK fund by the Ministry of Finance is carried out effectively and efficiently according to the size of the current legislation. All employee PFK funds can be distributed in their entirety to the beneficiary parties. The Ministry of Finance also does not spend large funds to carry out its management when compared to the amount of PFK Employees managed. However, the current Employee PFK management model still saves an opportunity cost for the Ministry of Finance and an opportunity loss for the beneficiary party. In addition, the current management model does not encourage the independence of the beneficiary parties in managing PFK Employee funds and continues to depend on the Ministry of Finance.

Abstract

This paper discusses the link between motivation and performance, and established what makes motivation to have a central role in getting high performances from employees in organizations. It was revealed from the review that there are several motivational theories used by employers at different situations when they want their employees to highly perform. As motivation is to influence employees to perform, hence; performance is the evaluation with respect to acknowledged tasks, objectives, goal line and rational anticipations linked with a role, occupation in an organization. This paper has looked at some of these theories that have been proven and accepted by the general public. They comprise Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, McGregor’s theories x and y, McClelland’s theory of learned needs, Alderfer’s ERG theory, Herzberg’s two-factor theory, Vroom’s expectancy theory and different types of motivation, such as intrinsic and extrinsic. It is evident from the literature reviewed that all theories were established on some experimentations or observations, as a result they are just written ends about a tested situation. Though circumstances can be comparable, they will perhaps by no means be the same. Also, studies have showed that highly motivated employees that are productive and innovative can lead the organization to success through the achievement of its desired results.

Abstract

Bank Indonesia together with the Financial Services Authority officially launched the Quick Response Indonesian Standard (QRIS) for the first time at the Bank Indonesia head office on August 17, 2019 and has been effective nationally since January 1, 2020. The SWOT analysis in this study aims to see the identification of problems found from the use of this QRIS digital payment system. IFAS and EFAS calculations are carried out in obtaining the number of points for each SWOT element by determining the coordinates of the SWOT Analysis Graph using a Cartesian Diagram. Based on the results of the research, the conclusion states that the results of Strength (QRIS Strength) are 1289 Points (37.2%), Weakness (QRIS Weaknesses) are 277 Points (8%), Opportunity (QRIS Opportunity) is 1284 points (37.1%) and Threat (QRIS Threat) as much as 610 points (17.6%). The final result of the study proves that the QRIS digital payment system is very feasible to use because the results of the SWOT analysis graph depicting the coordinates (X and Y) are located in the (Strength and Opportunity) section with the acquisition of the coordinates (X, Y) of (1012, 674). This means that Strength QRIS far outperforms 1012 points compared to Weakness QRIS and Opportunity QRIS outperforms 674 points compared to Threat QRIS, thereby proving that the community agrees and supports the use of the Quick Response Indonesian Standard (QRIS).
