Abstract

Teaching aids at the higher education level are not something strange and rare, because the level of need in terms of material presentation is felt more useful and easy. Especially for the basic education level, a tool for delivering material to elementary school children which have been more conventional in the form of teachers reading or writing material, meanwhile, students copy what the class teacher writes. This habit of course will be slow and monotonous and can increase boredom in following the teaching and learning process.  To reduce the level of boredom and the less attractive way of delivering this teaching material, it is necessary to have a way that can arouse learning enthusiasm for students at the basic education level, namely in the form of visual displays using computers as the main tool with more material content. new and innovative. This is even more so if it is applied in the form of introduction to nature reserves, history, and cultural heritage.  The enthusiasm of the students while trying the puzzle game application based on the introduction of Bengkulu's culture and natural wealth encouraged the students to get to know and understand more about the importance of maintaining and being proud of the natural and cultural wealth of the Bengkulu people.

Abstract

This research aims to classify the public satisfaction on the creation of building permits in the Office of Investment and integrated service of one door Pematangsiantar. Data is obtained from the results of a community questionnaire from 2019, with a sample of 80 data in society. The attributes used as many as 9, namely terms, procedures, service time, cost/tariff, service products, implementing competence, implementing conduct, infrastructure and handling complaints. The method used in this research is the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm and was processed using the RapidMiner Studio 8.1 software to determine the public satisfaction of the creation of building permits. The data used is divided into two, which are training data used 50 data and data testing used as much as 30 data. With this research is expected to help the Department of Investment and Integrated services one door Pematangsiantar to evaluate the service system provided to the public to meet the expectations of the community in the manufacture of building permits.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Simulasi merupakan proses implementasi model menjadi program komputer (software) dan mengeksekusi software tersebut sedemikian rupa sehingga perilakunya menirukan atau menyerupai sistem nyata tertentu. Tujuan dari dibuatnya simulasi antara lain sebagai pelatihan (training), studi perilaku sistem (behavior), dan permainan (games). Salah satu contoh kejadian pada kehidupan nyata yang dapat disimulasikan adalah simulasi antrian bank. Terdapat banyak model antrian yang dapat diterapkan pada simulasi antrian bank, salah satunya yaitu Multiple Queue Multiple Server (MQMS) yang dapat diartikan sebagai satu antrian dengan beberapa pelayan (teller). Untuk membuat sebuah simulasi antrian bank MQMS dibutuhkan perencanaan atau skenario, di mulai dari proses kedatangan nasabah ke bank, proses antrian nasabah, proses pelayanan nasabah, sampai proses kepergian nasabah dari bank. Berdasarkan teknik atau metodologi simulasi maka metode yang paling tepat untuk mensimulasikan antrian yaitu Simulasi Kejadian Diskret (Discrete Event Simulation). Discrete Event Simulation (DES) adalah suatu simulasi dimana perubahan statusnya terjadi pada titik-titik diskrit dalam waktu yang dipicu oleh kejadian (event). Pada DES, suatu kejadian (event) akan mempengaruhi kejadian (event) yang akan berlangsung selanjutnya.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang cepat banyak memberikan keuntungan bagi setiap orang untuk saling tukar-menukar informasi terlebih lagi dalam dunia bisnis. Seperti dalam mengirim data-data yang penting, sedemikian sehingga untuk mengirim data tidak perlu lagi datang langsung ke tempat yang ingin dituju, melainkan cukup dengan menggunakan pengiriman dengan fasilitas internet menggunakan email. Kriptografi merupakan teknik yang dapat melindungi kerahasiaan dari orang yang tidak bertanggung jawab. Pada skripsi ini dibentuk suatu aplikasi yang bertujuan mengamankan data yang dikirim melalui email dari gangguan penyadap yang berniat merusak data atau informasi. Adapun dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan algoritma blowfish dimana algoritma tersebut merupakan sebuah algoritma kunci simetri blok kode dengan panjang blok tetap 64 bit, dan algoritma blowfish dibagi menjadi dua subalgoritma utama yaitu ekspansi kunci dan bagian enkripsi-dekripsi. Sehingga proses pengiriman file yang di lakukan dengan menggunakan email dapat terjaga kerahasiannya.

Abstract

The image is in the form of variations in the intensity of a pixel that does not correlate with neighboring pixels that are easily seen by the eye because they look different. By doing image smoothing, it is expected that the image will become more visible. In certain cases, smoothing of the image is indeed done to soften the surface of the image, such as removing small details. Gaussian filter is a mask that is also often used for image smoothing is a gaussian smoothing mask. The existence of quality improvements in the image can improve the image that has very low quality with a gaussian filter.

Abstract

In a special room for smokers, Exhoust Fan is installed to clean the air and keep the room air fresh. Most Exhoust Fan works manually, not set automatically so that it has a constant rotational speed, so the function of the exhaust fan as an air purifier is not optimal. This study aims to apply a fuzzy method as well as to control the speed of the Exhoust Fan. Fuzzy logic will process the carbon monoxide gas which is detected by the MQ-3 sensor then the output decision maker is in the form of the Exhoust Fan rotation speed level which is exactly in accordance with the amount of carbon monoxide read by the MQ3 sensor. fuzzysugeno method can regulate the speed of putan fan based on the amount of carbon monoxide read by the MQ-3 sensor.

Abstract

The development of the world of information technology is very fast lately influential in all aspects of life. Kriprografi is a science based on mathematical techniques to deal with information security such as confidentiality, data integrity, and entity authentication. Affine Cipher or Affine password is a substitution cipher that is specifically for encryption or decryption per character. Therefore, Affine's password includes the stream cipher cryptographic algorithm. Steganography is a way of hiding the contents of a data in a cover of media or other digital data that cannot be predicted by ordinary people so as not to arouse suspicion from those who see it. The steganography image file has the same number of pixels as the original image file and there is no color difference between the two. The size of the steganography image file will increase, according to the length of the hidden message plus 6 bytes, in the form of 1 byte EOF and 5 byte message length. The End Of File (EOF) method is a technique for inserting data at the end of a file. When opened with a photo editor application, both images have the same pixel size, namely 240 x 238, and do not change color. In this test, what changes is the size of the image file, ie the initial size of the image is 49.132 bytes, changes to 49.145 bytes, or there is an addition of 13 bytes

Abstract

Chatting is a form of communication directly between two parties using typed text. If text messages on chat are very important and must be kept confidential, it is necessary to secure text messages on chat media that will be sent using cryptographic algorithms to prevent irresponsible parties. To fulfill this, the encryption (decryption and decryption) process of the text message will be sent. Encryption is done when sending by converting the original text message into a secret text message while decryption is done at the time of reception by converting the secret text message to the original text message. So the text message sent when chatting is a secret text message, so that the original text message cannot be known by unauthorized parties

Abstract

Processing incoming data and outgoing letters at the rector's bureau at Santo Thomas Catholic University in North Sumatra has been using storage of accumulated data, in the form of sheets of paper, then the search requires a long process, because it has to turn back the ledger, so the letter will hard to find, and damage if the letter has been stored for a long time in the mail storage cabinet. Data storage of incoming letters, dispositions and outgoing letters has used the database so that it further accelerates the workings of the Rector's Bureau, because incoming mail and outgoing mail data do not need to be recorded or written into a letter book.

Abstract

Encoding of text messages is very necessary to encode a message so that it is not stolen by irresponsible parties. Cryptography is one technique that can be used to carry out security messages, namely by encoding original messages that are understood to be incomprehensible data. Cryptographic techniques are used using the Block Cipher mode ECB method that works by using 64-bit keys and an iterative method consisting of linear steps (such as XOR and key applications). ECB block cipher mode application is to use J2ME as a testing tool. The text message will be entered into Netbeans and tested for the results of encryption and decryption. The design of system testing is done in several stages, namely making use case diagrams, Activity diagrams, Sequency diagrams and design interfaces
