Abstract

This article is a research report about the 'alive' Al-Qur'an at the Daar El-Istiqomah Modern Islamic Boarding School. Specifically, the Al-Qur'an verses contained in Al-Ma’tsurat which are read by male and female students are read regularly every morning and evening. This research does not examine the verses of the Qur'an as a text that must be understood with the meaning of several scientific disciplines, but using the Living Qur'an approach, this approach seeks to examine the form of interaction of Muslim groups towards the Qur'an in the aspect of applying the verses of the Qur'an. 'an to everyday life.

Abstract

Artikel ini berupaya untuk membahas dan menguak makna lafadz Jannah dalam al-Qur’an secara detail dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif-analisi peneliti mengkaji tentang pengertian Jannah secara etimologi dan termilonogi menurut para mufassir dengan perpesktif Syeikh ‘Abd al-Qadir al-Jailani tentang Jannah, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Analisa semantik untuk mengetahui makna Jannah dari derivasi hurufnya. Kesimpulan yang dihasilkan dari kajian ini bahwasannya lafadz Jannah secara etimologi adalah kebun yang tertutup dan tak terlihat, sedangkan makna Jannah secara terminologi adalah kebun yang diciptakan oleh Allah sebagai balasan untuk orang-orang yang berbuat baik selama di dunia, namun sifat kebun ini masih tertutup dan tidak terlihat. Hal ini sesuai dengan perspektif al-Jailani, ia berpendapat bahwa surga adalah makan al-Qurb (tempat yang dekat dengan Allah), surga merupakan tempat bagi kenikmatan ruhani di alam akhirat, diperuntukan bagi manusia yang beriman dan beramal shaleh. Maka pengertian Jannah secara termilonogi lebih tepat karena surga adalah sebuah tempat di kehidupan akhirat sebagai balasan untuk orang-orang yang berbuat baik selama di dunia, sedangkan manusia yang amal buruknya lebih banyak telah disediakan tempat oleh Allah yaitu neraka. Abstract

This study discusses the interpretation of the meaning of al-nabī al-ummī in QS al-A'rāf/7: 157-158 according to Bisri Mustofa and the Tim Lajnah Pentashihan Mushaf Al-Qur’an RI and is a literature study using primary and secondary data. The result of the research is that al-nabī al-ummī which is attributed to the Prophet Muhammad found in QS al-A'rāf/7: 157-158. Bisri Mustofa interpreted that the Prophet Muhammad could not read and write and also meant that he was clean from sin. Meanwhile, the Tim Lajnah Pentashihan Mushaf Al-Qur’an RI interpreted that the Prophet Muhammad not good at reading and writing. There are several similarities and differences in the interpretation of each of these figures in terms of the diversity of meanings of the sentence al-nabī al-ummī, the attribution of these characteristics to him, and the level of ability of the Prophet Muhammad in terms of reading and writing. The purpose of this research is to find out the interpretation of some Indonesian interpreters about the meaning of al-nabī al-ummī.

Abstract

The frog being one of a kindamphibian which has many benefits and properties based on the nutritional content it has. The nutritional content contained in frogs has a role and can provide a balance to human nutrition, in 100 grams of frog meat there is a protein content that can be produced as much as 16.4 grams, this value is certainly quite large for amphibians, more than that the nutritional content Frogs also have other things, such as fiber, minerals, and vitamins, which the body needs sufficiently. Behind the benefits and efficacy of the nutrition contained in the frog there is a conflict with the provisions of Islamic law, namely in the form of a prohibition that the Prophet conveyed to kill frogs as contained in the history of Abū Dāud, which means that the hadith gives an indication in the form of a prohibition against consuming them too. However, in several areas in Indonesia, which are predominantly Muslim, they still have the habit of consuming frogs.

Abstract

Calligraphy is one of the expressions of Islam that has received tremendous attention from Muslims. In essence, calligraphy is a work of beautiful composition (khat) taken from the Qur'an and named (where it appears) Makki, Madani, Anbari, and Baghdadi. In the long run, several names (khat) emerged, such as khat Khufi, mutsallat, mudawwar, and others. The impact of the expansion of Islamic rule, the expansion of Bedouin rule, the duties of rulers, and the world class society inspired and worked with the increase of calligraphic specificity and influenced the logical turn of events, especially during the Abbasid period. After the Abbasid period, calligraphy really existed and was created. The purpose of this article is to understand how Quranic verses are understood and applied in the field of calligraphy, as well as how the craft of calligraphy is acquired by people who visit the demand room. Exploratory strategies used may include perception, encounter, and text examination. The results of the examination may provide a better understanding of the relationship between the verses of the Quran and the specialty of calligraphy, as well as provide data on how the craft of calligraphy is perceived by individuals who visit the request room.
