Abstract

Low employee performance in providing administrative services is a problem in government agencies. The purpose of the study was to analyze and describe the performance of employees in the service of the Kedungcangkring village, Jabon sub-district, Sidoarjo district. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method using interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that the productivity of the village apparatus was good. but needs to be improved again to work optimally.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze community participation in infrastructure development planning in Panggreh Village, Jabon District, Sidoarjo Regency. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that community participation in infrastructure development planning in Panggreh Village is divided into five stages. In the first stage, namely the formation of the RPJM drafting team for Panggreh Village, the people involved were internal community groups. The second stage is hamlet meetings with community participation in the form of attendance and making proposals related to development planning and analyzing environmental conditions. The third stage is the Village Musrenbang, community participation in the form of extracting ideas and forms of energy. The fourth stage is the drafting of a community participation development plan that has been represented by the BPD. The fifth stage, namely the determination of the Village RPJM, community participation is also represented by the BPD.

Abstract

This study aims to find out about the capacity development of BUMDes in increasing the success of the PK2 Jalin Matra program in Semambung Village, Jabon District, Sidoarjo Regency. The research method used descriptive qualitative method using purposive sampling technique in determining the informants, namely the Village Head, BUMDes management and the community. Data collection techniques were through interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique uses an interactive analysis model consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that according to Soeprapto's theory of capacity development, there are 2 levels, namely the organizational and individual levels. Organizational level, organizational structure is clear and there are SOPs, the number of employees is lacking, budget and infrastructure are adequate, program assistance is lacking in BUMDes management, but decision making is carried out by deliberation and in management there is a working relationship to achieve its goals in accordance with the organizational management that has been made. . Second, from the individual level the knowledge of the BUMDes management is inadequate, the lack of experience of the BUMDes management in increasing the success of the program makes the BUMDes management need to improve their skills, while in the work grouping there is a shared commitment to improving the success of the program, the behavior of the BUMDes management is fairly fast in providing services to the community and the enthusiasm of the community to change their welfare has become the motivation of the BUMDes management in increasing the success of the PK2 Jalin Matra program.

Abstract

The success of a village development is influenced by one of the roles of the Village Head, thus the role of the Village Head is very important for village development and to increase public awareness to take part in village development. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the Village Head in development in Keret Village, Krembung District, Sidoarjo Regency. This study focuses on one role theory, namely stabilizers. The method used is qualitative descriptive data obtained through observation, documentation, interviews and using sources from books, journals, and policy documents. The results of this study state that the role of stabilizers in village development in Keret Village. It is still not optimal in terms of development, in terms of stabilizers, it is still trying to improve the development of stabilizers by providing guidance and training to the community so that they can manage and develop rural economic business activities.

Abstract

Community empowerment is a development strategy as a form of activity to help the community to gain efficiency, make decisions and determine the actions to be taken. The form of community empowerment can involve youth in activities at the village level. The purpose of this study was to explain and analyze youth empowerment in Kalidawir Village, Tanggulangin District, Sidoarjo Regency. This study focuses on one theory of empowerment, namely Doing, Effects, Association. The method used is qualitative descriptive data obtained through observation, documentation, interviews and using sources from books, journals, and policy documents. The results of this study stated that the empowerment of youth in Kalidawir village experienced a change in leadership which resulted in not running optimally and lack of support from the village community for youth in Kalidawir Village.

Abstract

This study shows that the pattern of communication between teachers and students in shaping the character of students in grades 1-4 of SDI A-Education, Ketawang Jogosatru Village, Sidoarjo Regency is a pattern of interpersonal communication. This is evidenced by the practice of the elements of interpersonal communication patterns in the communication that exists between teachers and students towards the character formation of students in grades 1-4 of SDI A-Education, Ketawang Jogosatru Village, Sidoarjo Regency. As with quotations, communication patterns are simply divided into two. The first is a positive communication pattern, which is communication that can certainly bring positive outputs such as cooperative attitude, tolerance, sincerity, understanding and cooperation. Second, the negative communication pattern which is communication can certainly bring negative impacts such as hatred, doubt, misunderstanding, doubt, hostility, and revenge (West & Turner, 2013: 25). The pattern of communication is a form of communication process, so that with the existence of various forms of communication, and part of the process of communication will be able to find patterns that are easy and suitable for use in communicating.

Abstract

This study aims to find out about how the infrastructure in the management of the tourist village and the constraints in the infrastructure in the management of the tourist village. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with the technique of determining informants using purposive sampling. In this study, the informants were the village head of Besur, as the hortiary sector of Besur Agro Educational Tourism, as the secretary of Besur Agro Educational Tourism and also the farmer group community. The location of this research was carried out in Besur Village, Sekaran District, Lamongan Regency. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation, documentation and literature study. The data collection technique uses Miles and Huberman which consists of four components of analysis, namely, data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. the community in supporting the running of the Besur Agaro tourism village program, education is carried out for the development of tourist villages in the agricultural and plantation sectors by taking part in the management and development of agricultural cultivation land, in this case the active participation of the Besur Village community. Furthermore, community involvement in farmer group groups supports the community participation program. With the opening of stalls around the tourist attraction area to facilitate tourists in terms of eating and drinking. Constraints faced in community participation in the management of tourist villages in Besur Village, Sekaran District, Lamongan Regency, there are problems, namely in terms of facilities and infrastructure and in terms of funding the Besur agro-educational tourism object.

Abstract

Didi Kempot who is better known as "The Godfather of Broken Heart" is one of the singers who makes campursari songs liked by all people. The song, entitled Pamer Bojo, makes young people love the Javanese campursari music genre. This phenomenon is interesting because more than 90% of the audience for this song are young people. The purpose of this study is to find out the meaning contained in the lyrics of the song Pamer Bojo so that it can embrace all ages. This study uses the analysis method of Roland Barthes by looking for denotations, connotations and myths. The results of this study indicate that the meaning of the lyrics of the song Pamer Bojo is representative of the pain of being left by his lover. An ex-lover's arrogance with a new partner makes the heartache worse. All ages have the potential to experience this heartache, including young people. Although the lyrics of the song Pamer Bojo are in Javanese, this song can still convey the message in the lyrics of the song well.

Abstract

Gender is an access in determining our choices regarding education, health, life expectancy, and freedom of movement. These biological differences provide indications and implications that the two sexes have different roles and tasks. These stereotypes also make the film world gave birth to feminist films. The film Mulan 2020 is the result of that stereotype. The purpose of this study was to determine the depiction of the gender roles of men and women in the characters of Mulan and Bori Khan in the film Mulan 2020. This research is a descriptive qualitative type of research using the semiotic analysis method of Charles S. Peirce. semiotic analysis of Charles S. Peirce To explain the icon (icon), index (index) and symbols (symbol) in the film Mulan 2020. The results of this study indicate that the gender roles of men and women in the film Mulan 2020 still refer to the socio-cultural structure that There are, such as men who can provide a living for the family, while women as wives are in charge of taking care of children and taking care of the household.

Abstract

The millennial generation is hotly discussed among us. My Generation film tries to tell the story of how life is, how the figure of the millennial generation is actually, by carrying the four main characters Zeke, Suki, Orly and Konji. Because all this time we know that the millennial generation is a technology literate generation. Therefore, this study aims to find out how the millennial generation characters in the film My generation are. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods, and the analytical technique used in this study is Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotics. The results of the analysis show that the representation of the millennial generation in the film My Generation, is a generation that has different characters from the previous generation, they are more daring to voice what they feel, what they think, dare to try new things and do not hesitate to see things from their point of view.
