Narada: Jurnal Desain dan Seni diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Desain dan Seni Kreatif, Universitas Mercu Buana. Jurnal ini merupakan sarana untuk mempublikasikan tulisan ilmiah berupa hasil penelitian, hasil pemikiran (gagasan konseptual), serta hasil perancangan karya desain dan seni terapan (Applied Art) dalam ruang lingkup bidang desain dan seni rupa yang mencakup desain interior, desain produk, desain fashion, desain multimedia, desain komunikasi visual, fotografi, HAKI Desain, Hak Cipta Desain serta bidang perluasan yang ditujukan untuk mengembangkan bidang ilmu tersebut. Narada: Jurnal Desain dan Seni terbit sebanyak tiga kali dalam setahun, yakni pada bulan April, September, dan Desember. NARADA Jurnal Desain dan Seni menerima artikel yang ditulis menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia.

Gambang Kromong singers who can sing Lagu Sayur Gambang Kromong nowadays are very hard to find. Most singers in the Gambang Kromong are dangdut singers who singing the Gambang Kromong song. This caused the number of Gambang Kromong Singers to decrease in number. One that still exists is Mrs. Saini, a singer of the Sinar Baru group from Gunung Sindur, Bogor. He has a distinctive singing style especially when singing lagu sayur. He can sing some lagu sayur that are quite rare, one of which is the song "Akang Haji". The song is quite rare, even the gambang Kromong groups in Jakarta have never played it again. This song is still often found in Udik (Bogor) and Wetan (Tangerang and surrounding areas). This study describes the vocal style of Ibu Saini in the Sayur Gambang Kromong song using audio-visual recording methods, and interviews. In terms of several elements, the vocal style is posture, breathing techniques, articulation, and resonance.

Fun aspect is the main function of toy product design. On toy products for children this may not be a difficult job because aspects of pleasure can be more easily measured by designers. But on adult targets this is no longer easy because there seems to be something complex with regard to this aspect of pleasure. The fun and use of products experienced by adults is thought to be different from the fun and use of toy products experienced by young children, so in this study will find out about what kind of fun experienced by adults in using their toys and what elements of such toys are considered to bring senility. The study aims to find new forms that are dwarfed by adult toy product users. To answer this, this research is included in the basic research which goes into TKT level 2, namely with the stages of literature study and initial analysis. This is realized by gaining the experience of adult toy fans with the process of interviewing and observation as a user of the product which is then abstracted using the theory of user experience in order to find a model of how to use the toy and then will be reviewed with theory of fun. The next stage of the toy's product properties will then be reviewed using discussions using Vitruvius Theory and Sir Henry Wotton. The results that will be obtained later are expected to explain the model of fun type in using toy products. This is expected to be a useful basis for the development of design science, especially the design of toy products that is to determine the design process of toy products

More than 7 hours a day Generation Z interacts with devices, so less time is spent interacting directly with humans their age. This type of boardgame is a game that increases the interaction between players. To develop a board game, it is necessary to know the aspects and components contained in it. In the last few years, there have been boardgames featuring local fairy tales, one of which is “Si Anak Nakal” by Mahavira Studio. This game research has been carried out previously by Kelvin and Hantanto in 2019 entitled "Perancangan Ulang Brand Identity Board Game Si Anak Nakal". However, it focuses more on redesign based on an analysis of visual identity. While this study focuses on the analysis of all components contained in the game. The boardgame analysis was carried out using qualitative data analysis methods. This analysis method uses an analysis interaction model consisting of data collection with observation and documentation, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research are the aspects and components contained in the "Si Na Naughty" boardgame.

The development of interior design and decoration is growing rapidly, and all interior spaces need interior decoration. Room decoration is an important element in beautifying the room. This research discusses the study of interior decorative room dividers with ornamental plant media in residential homes with a sustainable design approach. The method used is environmentally friendly space decorative elements with a design trend in 2020, namely Tropical Vibe, which can be interpreted as decorating a house with plants. The plants selected are indoor plants that do not require direct sunlight, with varying plant sizes. The space elements that are applied make the psychology of space more lively and colorful. This study seeks to discuss how (1) Expression of design by combining interior decoration with ornamental plants (2) Providing an alternative space divider with plant media (3) Linking decorative design with the concept of sustainable design. The results of this study indicate that the design with the ornamental garden method applied to buildings effectively uses resources efficiently. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method to describe alternative designs of space dividers and decorative designs with the concept of sustainable design.

The development of films in Indonesia is currently experiencing many improvements, especially films with the theme of superheroes or superheroes. This is based on the increasing number of films from Hollywood that are adapted from comics. The development of these films has attracted various producers, especially toys, to make collectible items, such as action figure toys. This is also Gundala did. In this study, the author aims to analyze the design process and production process of action figures made by ST Workshop, from how to adapt the character designs contained in the film to become a 16 cm figure.

The rise of cases of violence and sexual harassment in Indonesia has made Indonesia face a crisis in handling violence and sexual harassment. This is due to the lack of public education in this case and the lack of public empathy for the tragedy experienced by the victim and tend to commit victim blaming to the victim which makes stigma and stereotypes still last in the community. Therefore, it is necessary to design a museum that can educate and foster public sympathy which is then expected to reduce the number of cases of violence and sexual harassment in Indonesia. Regarding this, a narrative approach method is used from several film titles with the theme of sexual violence and harassment as well as psychological games which will later produce emotional graphics that are used as guidelines in designing the interior atmosphere of the showroom of the Museum of Sexual Assault. From the graph of these emotions, a storyline is created that will be applied in organizing the types of exhibition areas at the Museum of Sexual Assault.

Thermochromic Dye is a substance that changes color due to temperature changes. Leuco Dye itself is a compound that is colorless or weakly colored, and reacts with the developer, to turn into a animate state. Thermocromic staining will experience a color change phenomenon when it receives a higher temperature change. The molecules contained in the substance will change into other color molecules when exposed to heat, but when the temperature drops again (cools down) the color changes again or looks transparent or another color. The application of a base coat in the finishing process is important because it greatly affects the physical properties of the skin. The materials used to make the base layer include binders, pigments, and solvents. The number of pigments and binders used in the finishing process varies, so the resulting skin has different qualities. This quality inconsistency is one of the problems in finishing the skin because there is no definite knowledge about the amount of binders and pigments that are applied to various types of skin. In the application of this color, of course, a binder is needed that is able to carry the croma substance attached to the material being applied. Thermocromic color pigment testing was carried out by comparing the use of protein and synthetic (acrylic) binder types in the leather material. With the treatment of cold and hot temperature discoloration, the result is that the use of acrylic binder experiences a constant change for ± 3 second / 10C a decrease in cold temperature in the slow reaction test, and a ± 5 second / 7.50 C increase in hot temperature in the slow reaction test. So that it shows colors at cold temperatures last longer at room temperature than colors at hot temperatures. While the use of protein binders shows a ± 5 second / 7.50C decrease in cold temperature in the slow reaction test and a ± 5 second / 7.50C increase in heat in the slow reaction test, but the color characters are not completely bound by the protein binder and still release the pigment to dust (dust), so the use of acrylic binders using acetone solvent is better than protein binders

In designing a mother and child hospital, the atmosphere of the room needs to be created with reference to the psychological condition and characteristics of the user, which is oriented towards mother and child. The condition of children and women, especially pregnant women, can change drastically which includes psychological and social changes. The hospital environment that feels strange with the presence of new people can trigger anxiety and fear for parents and children. Creating a comfortable environment can help stimulate the patient's healing by reducing anxiety through room organization, circulation, and interior treatment. Treating a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere in the interior of the mother and Child Hospital using the method Healing Environment which focuses on treatment design by combining elements of nature, psychology, and the human senses with hope, creating a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere, reducing anxiety in patients to stimulating patient recovery.

The film site is one of the creative industries in the film subsector. The film industry is not only a viewing medium for the public but also a source of economic income for a country, thereby increasing the country's economy. The purpose of this journal is to examine the influence of film sites on the Indonesian film subsector. The research method used is quantitative, the survey strategy uses a questionnaire with 100 respondents from the millennial generation and Z. From our discussion we get the results that the public's interest in choosing legal online film sites is very little compared to illegal film sites, because of the easy access and free given by illegal film sites even though they realize that such activity is something that is not justified.

Traditional clothing is one of the traditional cultures which is still favored and used on various occasions. So in other words, traditional clothing today has the potential to be developed into a novelty following today's lifestyle. This renewal is none other than the result of the needs of today's human lifestyle regardless of whether or not the original meaning of traditional clothing has changed. Currently, there are a lot of design developments from traditional Lampung clothing, starting from the shape, size, to the material. These changes are caused by changes in lifestyle and current environmental conditions. It is not yet certain whether these changes still contain the same meaning and image as the original design of the traditional clothing itself, while the preservation of the original meaning of traditional clothing is very important for the preservation of the culture itself. When a design is changed or developed without considering the message from the maker, there is a possibility that the message of the design will shift.This research aims to review the meaning of the traditional wedding dress of the women of the Lampung Pesisir, namely Siger through a case study and literature study review. The research object chosen was Nikita Willy's pre-wedding photo due to the newness of the photo publication, so that it was considered that the Siger used was also a new product. The results of the research will be in the form of a collection of design review data from Siger Lampung Pesisir used in Nikita Willy's pre-wedding photo. The results of this research will be useful for the development of similar product designs so that they can meet and answer the need for fashion products with local cultural content that are per the needs of today's lifestyle but still uphold the original values of the culture. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, namely the collection of data in the form of literature review related to Siger women of the Lampung tribe both from its history and the meaning contained in the product. The researcher then used product semantic theory as a means of translating the meaning and characteristics of the design of the research object.
