JOPP (Journal of Psychological Perspective), with registered ISSN 2715-4785 (Print) and ISSN 2715-4807 (online), is a Presented to encourage and facilitate the publication of result of the research in psychology: This journal contains a article on psychology field that includes: Social Psychology Clinical Psychology Educational Psychology Industrial and Organisational Psychology Islamic Psychology JOPP (Journal of Psychological Perspective) is an international journal devoted to publishing theoretically oriented, empirical research that is at the intersection of psychology and media/mediated communication. Research topics include media uses, processes, and effects. Reports of empirical research, theory papers, state-of-the-art reviews, replication studies and meta-analyses that provide a major synthesis of primary research findings in a pivotal area will be considered. We encourage preregistrations and welcome the inclusion of supplementary materials, such as stimuli, measures, preanalysis plans, deidentified data, and code as a part of new submissions. Manuscripts will be judged by the degree to which they contribute to theory and advance the body of knowledge about the psychology of uses, processes, or effects of the media. Peer Review Policy: All research articles in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymous refereeing by at least two anonymous referees.

Abstract

Angka kejadian KDRT pada perempuan dewasa terus meningkat setiap tahunnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran pengetahuan dan sikap perempuan dewasa tentang Kekerasan Dalam Rumah Tangga di Desa Sukoharjo IV Kabupaten Pringsewu Lampung. Desain penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif sederhana dengan metode analisis univariat. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 93 responden, ditentukan dengan teknik quota sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 64,5% responden memiliki pengetahuan kurang dan 54,8% responden memiliki sikap negatif terhadap KDRT. Pengetahuan kurang karena kurangnya sumber informasi, tidak berpengalaman, dan finansial terbatas. Sikap negatif dipengaruhi pengalaman significant others, budaya patriarki, dan keterbatasan akses media. Penyedia layanan kesehatan hendaknya memberikan penyuluhan dan konseling mengenai KDRT.Abstract: The number of domestic violence to women increases every year. This study's purpose was to provide an overview of the knowledge and attitudes of adult women about domestic violence in Sukoharjo IV Village, Pringsewu, Lampung. The research design was simple descriptive with univariate analysis methods. Total samples were 93 respondents; determined by quota sampling technique. The results showed 64.5% of respondents had a low level of knowledge and 54.8% of respondents have bad attitudes toward domestic violence. Less knowledge caused by inadequate resources, experienced, and finances. Significant others’ experiences, patriarchy, and limited media access influence a bad attitude. To prevent domestic violence, health service providers should provide adequate health education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai bentuk kekerasan dalam berpacaran pada mahasiswa di Kabupaten Pringsewu. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan metode survei. Instrumen penelitian yang dipakai adalah kuesioner Bentuk-bentuk Kekerasan dalam Pacaran dengan jumlah 58 item. Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa sebanyak 184 orang. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik deskriptif kategoris yang diawali dengan tabulasi skor tabulasi skor dari masing- masing item, selanjutnya mengkategorisasikan bentuk-bentuk kekerasan dalam pacaran yang dialami. Kategorisasi ini terdiri dari tiga jenjang yaitu tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa (1) Bentuk-bentuk kekerasan dalam berpacaran pada mahasiswa di Kabupaten Pringsewu termasuk dalam kategori “jarang” terdapat 58 butir item, dan terdapat kategori kerap kali 2 item, dan bentuk kekerasan dalam pacaran yang terjadi kategori sering tidak ada. (2) Berdasarkan analisis butir-butir kuesioner bentuk-bentuk kekerasan dalam pacaran, yang terindikasi 10 frekuensi tinggi, diusulkan topik bimbingan yang implikatif dalam bimbingan pacaran yang sehat dan aman. Abstract: This study belongs to a descriptive study that aims at obtaining the description of violence in dating among adolescents’ overview as students at Kabupaten Pringsewu. The type of this research is a descriptive study using a survey method. The research instrument used is a questionnaire about types of dating violence among students consisting of 58 items. The subject is a college student consisting of 184 people. The technique of data analysis is using a categorized descriptive technique that begins with a score tabulation of each item, then categorizing the types of dating violence encountered by students. This categorization consists of three levels, they are high, medium, and low. The results show that: (1) The types of dating violence encountered by college students indicate that 58 items belong to the rare category, 2 items belong to the frequent category, and no items belong to the often category. (2) Based on the analysis of the items in the questionnaire that belong to high frequency, the writer suggested the implied guidance topics in compiling the healthy and safe dating guidance program.

Abstract

Stres berkaitan dengan kehidupan mahasiswa. Ketika tidak diatasi dengan tepat, resiko berbagai permasalahan dapat terjadi, mulai dari performa akademik hingga kesehatan. Oleh karena itu, coping strategies menjadi penting. Riset ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu jenis coping strategies yang digunakan oleh mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara online dan menggunakan convenient sampling diperoleh 339 responden mahasiswa Universitas Padjadjaran. Coping strategies diukur menggunakan COPE Inventory yang telah diadaptasi ke dalam bahasa Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa coping strategy yang paling sering digunakan oleh mahasiswa Universitas Padjadjaran adalah turning to religion yang kemudian diikuti oleh positive reinterpretation and growth. Maladaptive coping strategies seperti focusing on and venting of emotion serta mental disengagement masih kerap digunakan sehingga diperlukan solusi untuk mengurangi strategi-strategi tersebut. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat mengeksplorasi lebih lanjut mengenai keefektivan coping strategies dengan mempertimbangkan tingkat stres yang dialami individu, dan melihat hubungannya dengan disposisional dan situasional coping strategies.Abstract. Stress is a part of college students’ lives. If students do not cope well with stress, there would be higher risks of problems, ranging from academic performance to a health problem. How individuals cope with stress is called coping strategies. This research aimed to find out what kind of coping strategies used by students of Universitas Padjadjaran. Data consist of 339 students selected through convenient sampling was collected through online forms. Coping strategies were measured using the COPE Inventory. The most used coping strategy among students is turning to religion, which was followed by positive reinterpretation and growth. Maladaptive coping strategies, such as focusing on and venting of emotion and mental disengagement, were still commonly used. This called for a solution to reduce the use of such strategies. Next, studies can further investigate the effectiveness of coping strategies by looking at the stress level experienced and its link to both dispositional and situational coping strategies.

Abstract

Burnout merupakan suatu sindrom psikologis yang menyebabkan gangguan psikologis dan fisiologis yang lebih banyak diderita oleh pekerja sektor pelayanan. Salah satu gangguan yang terjadi adalah munculnya kelelahan emosional. Jika kondisi ini terjadi pada individu dalam jangka waktu yang lama dan terus menerus, maka akan berdampak pada penurunan kualitas hidup penderitanya sehingga berimplikasi pada penurunan kualitas pelayanan dan menghambat produktifitas organisasi. Diperlukan suatu intervensi yang efektif untuk mereduksinya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan emotional intelligence dalam mereduksi burnout. Metode penelitian menggunakan eksperimen dengan desain Untreatedpretest-postest control group. Subyek penelitian ini anggota polisi di Polda Banten berjumlah 28 orang (14 orang kelompok eksperien dan 14 orang kelompok kontrol). Analisis data menggunakan metode Independent sample t-test gain score, untuk melihat pengaruh pelatihan terhadap kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol anatara sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hasil uji hipotesis penelitian ini berdasarkan hasil Independent sample t-test gain score,(t =-2.281;p 0.036), (p kurang dari 0.05) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Abstract: Burnout is a psychological syndrome that leads to both psychological and physiological disturbance which is most likely suffered by the workers in the service sector. One of the example, which appeared is emotional exhaustion. If the condition occurred on individuals for a long time and continuously, it will affect the reduction of sufferer life quality and in consequence, results in the digression of service quality and organization productivity. The purpose of this research was to know the influence of emotional intelligence training in reducing burnout. The method of this research was by conducting an experiment by the design of the untreated pretest-postest control group. The subjects of the research were members of policemen at Banten Regional Police as much as 28 people (14 people in the experimental group and 14 people in the control group). Data analysis was using independent sample t-test gain score methods, to know the influence of the training towards both experimental group and control group, before and after it applied. The results of the hypothesis testing of the study showed the value of independent sample t-test gain score resulted (t= -2.281; p 0.036), (p less than 0.05) means there is a significant difference between the experimental group and control group.

Abstract

Kekerasan seksual pada anak (KSA) merupakan pemaksaan atau ancaman seorang anak dalam aktivitas seksual yang dilakukan orang dewasa atau teman sebaya. Kekerasan seksual tidak hanya terjadi dikalangan anak-anak pada umumnya namun juga terjadi pada anak yang berkebutuhan khusus, karena mereka belum dapat mengenal dengan baik organ vital yang harus dilindungi (misal vagina, payudara, penis, dan pantat). Hal tersebut dapat menjadikan trauma baik fisik, psikologis maupun sosial. Ironisnya kejadian ini tidak selalu terlaporkan baik kepada pihak yang berwenang ataupun lembaga perlindungan anak. Agar kejadian ini tidak semakin meningkat, maka dibutuhkan suatu strategi prevensi primer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah progam Jari Peri (guru ajari perlindungan diri) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan dan efikasi mengajarkan prevensi KSA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan rancangan eksperimen kuasi the untreated control group design with multiple dependent pretest and posttest. Uji statistik menggunakan mixed design ANOVA. Skala efikasi digunakan untuk mengetahui peningkatan efikasi mengajar guru, cheklis keterampilan komunikasi.  Abstract: The child sexual abuse (CSA) is coercion or threat of a child in sexual activity of adults or the opposite sex of peers. The sexual abuse is not only occurred among children in general, but also occurred in children with special needs, because they do not familiar with the vital organs that should be protected (e. g vagina, breast, penis, and buttocks). This is able to make a trauma, either physical, psychological or social. Ironically, this incident is not always reported to the authorities or child protection agencies. For this incident does not increase, it needs to take a strategy primary prevention. The purpose of this study is to determine how effective the program of "Jari Peri" (the teachers teach self-protection) to improve skills and teacher's efficacy for the prevention of child sexual abuse. The method used in this study was a quantitative method with quasi-experimental; untreated control group design with multiple dependent pretest and posttest. The statistical test used was mixed-design ANOVA. Efficacy scale was used to determine the increase in teacher efficacy, checklist skill of verbal and non-verbal communication to determine the increase in teacher's skill and knowledge manipulation checks used to determine the increase in teacher's understanding. Twenty teachers of educated special school SLB-C P and SLB-C N in Yogyakarta were selected purposively. The result showed a comparison between the experiment and control group which have a significant difference for the skill of delivering CSA prevention (F=127, 447; p less than 0.05) and there is no significant difference for efficacy teaching CSA prevention (F=3.560; p less than 0.05). Therefore program of Jari Peri can improve the skill of delivering CSA prevention to the SLB-C teacher, but it can not improve the efficacy of teaching prevention of CSA on the teacher of SLB-C.
