Abstract

In the current industrial era, there are many uses for utilizing AC (Alternating Current) motors which have 2 types, namely synchronous and induction. Where induction motors are often relied on in the industry for now with 3-phase induction motors. With the above problems, this article discusses the solution for instigating Star-Delta motors using automatic and manual techniques that are widely used in industry with PLC media. As for the following component specifications, such as for pushbutton ON two, special specifications are needed where the pushbutton has one NO contact and one NC contact as shown below For the main contactor (KU) requires 1 NC contact with the notation 21-22 and 2 NO contacts with the notation 13-14 and 43-44. Meanwhile, the Delta (Triangle) contactor requires one NO contact (13-14) and one NC contact (21-22). This chapter focuses on explaining the automatic and manual star delta circuits in the cx programmer and cx designer. Manual star-delta in this series the star to delta transfer is manual or you could say the change is using the action of the user. PLC CP1E is a type of PLC that is prioritized by having a low price but is still efficient by having analog input/output and being able to measure temperature. Starting the motor requires a Star-Delta circuit on the Starting Motor current. This starting is useful for reducing surge currents and also torque when starting. The Star-Delta series is equipped with interlock protection designed to overcome the possibility of “Human Error” due to negligence. Keywords: Control manual, automatic, star-delta circuit

Abstract

Technological developments continue to increase, this can be seen by the increasing number of electronic equipment used in daily needs, one of which is in the science of converting electrical energy, namely the 5-level inverter. The 5-stage inverter is a voltage changer that can convert DC electricity into AC electricity. Many studies have been carried out in order to obtain a sinusoidal 5-level inverter voltage waveform output by means of harmonic elimination technique. Harmonic elimination technique is a 5-level inverter signal processing technique for maximum switching patterns in order to obtain a sinusoidal output waveform and a minimum THD value with a combination of the STM32F407 microcontroller control signal generator circuit and the Mosfet Driver circuit, this 5-level inverter is expected to have a high output waveform. sinusoidal. testing is done with software in the form of PSIM software and real implementation. Based on the results, the method used is able to produce inverter output current and voltage with a THD of 4.38%.

Abstract

Energi listrik merupakan energi utama yang digunakan hampir di seluruh aktivitas dan kehidupan manusia, baik pada sektor perumahan, perkantoran dan industri. Semakin banyaknya penggunaan energi listrik, tentu akan timbul berbagai permasalahan terhadap pasokan listrik. Permasalahan yang sering terjadi yaitu terkait kontinuitas pelayanan listrik dan buruknya kualitas daya yang disalurkan ke konsumen. Oleh karena itu, alat ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi apabila pasokan energi listrik mengalami gangguan atau padam dengan menggunakan DSE 4520 MKII. Dengan sistem Auto Transfer Switch (ATS) dapat melakukan backup daya apabila pasokan listrik mengalami gangguan. Dengan sumber listrik utama dari PLN dan Genset sebagai backup apabila PLN mengalami gangguan. Hasil dari pembuatan alat ini menujukkan bahwa sistem ATS dapat bekerja bengan baik dan dapat beroperasi secara otomatis maupun manual.

Abstract

Energi listrik dari pembangkit yang memanfaatkan pergerakan suatu benda. Seiring berjalannya waktu telah muncul inovasi pembangkit listrik yang ramah lingkungan. Salah satunya dengan memanfaatkan energi air dan energi cahaya matahari (surya). Energi air dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menggerakkan turbin pada mikrohidro, sedangkan energi surya dimanfaatkan untuk menyuplai solar cell. Mikrohidro dan solar cell dapat digabungkan menjadi satu sehingga menciptakan solusi yang lebih efektif bernama pembangkit hybrid. Namun rata-rata daya output yang keluar dari mikrohidro dan solar cell tidak dapat maksimal. Jadi untuk mengatasi hal tersebut kita perlu membuat sistem pengontrolan agar mendapatkan daya output yang maksimal, alat pengontrolan ini dinamakan Maximum Power Point Tracker (MPPT). Tegangan dan arus yang masuk maupun keluar dari MPPT dapat dimonitoring secara realtime menggunakan smartphone berbasis Internet of Things (IoT).

Abstract

Flooding is a natural disaster that often occurs in Indonesia. Floods are often caused by the inability of rivers to accommodate water discharge, which is exacerbated by the handling of riverbank areas, resulting in an increased risk of natural disasters such as floods. Flood risk management is an urgent need considering the potential and pattern of disaster cycles in Indonesia that recur within a certain time interval. Flood risk management technology, both in terms of risk management technology and post-flood handling, is important for almost all regions in Indonesia. One of the technologies that can help with disaster risk management is an early warning system, which is an integrated system between hazard monitoring, disaster risk assessment, communication, and disaster preparedness that allows individuals, communities, and governments to take appropriate action in order to minimize the impact of disasters. By utilizing telecommunication networks and a simple and clear formulation of information, the dissemination of disaster information can be done quickly and precisely. A flood notification system is a system that serves as a warning and alert system in the event of a flood disaster. This system gives us a flood warning based on the water level. The brain of the prototype is the ESP8266 Nodemcu-based Wi-Fi module. In this system, it uses an SRF05 ultrasonic sensor and a water level float sensor to detect the water level. In this study, a prototype of a flood notification system that can be monitored with telegram commands was developed. Thus, access to flood information is easier and clearer. This system's information will be a warning of danger signs, allowing users to anticipate disasters, particularly flood disasters.This alert information is based on the water level. Abstract

Tobacco is the main raw material used to make cigarettes. Increasing of cigarette sales which have continued until now has led to an increasing of tobacco produced by tobacco farmers. Region of East Java has the largest percentage of tobacco producers and most of the peoples that work as tobacco farmers. Some of them still carried out the chopping process manually, thus requires more energy and longer time. This research is carried out by chopping tobacco leaves that have been dried and stacked with a thickness of 4mm. The procedure is carried out by pressing the start button, then conveyor moves to bring the container to the chopper. The container which attached to the magnet will be stop and detected by the reed switch sensor. The conveyor rotation is controlled by a DC motor gearbox and the operation of the chopper blades is controlled by a power window motor. All the chopping process is controlled using PLC

Abstract

This research presents the development of an online economic dispatch web application using the lambda iteration method. The proposed method is implemented through a systematic process of problem formulation, optimization method selection, application design, and testing. The web application is created using MATLAB Web Apps and tested using generation data from the IEEE 30 bus system. The results demonstrate that the developed web application operates effectively and fulfills the desired specifications. Users can access the application via web browsers without the need for MATLAB installation on their devices. The study concludes that the developed economic dispatch web application can serve as a valuable tool for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of economic dispatch processes. The application can be further optimized by incorporating more comprehensive and user-friendly features.

Abstract

The emergence of IEEE 1451 is proof that plug-and-play can solve compatibility problems experienced by a variety of different sensors when accessing communication. The plug-and-play system makes it easy for users to innovate, add, remove or replace sensors. The convenience offered by the plug-and-play system requires researchers to be able to think creatively from the aspect of flexibility to implement plug-and-play which is integrated with the DHT11 temperature sensor so that the sensor can be directly connected to the interface. This study shows a plug-and-play process developed by a scanning process to find connected PORTs without having to do configuration, showing a comparison of the DHT11 error value with a comparator that reaches 0.628% in temperature values and 0.428% in humidity values. This study also shows 120 monitoring data of temperature and humidity values for one month obtained from the interface that has been made

Abstract

Technology as a means to facilitate human activities is currently being applied in various fields of activity due to its rapid development. The implementation of technology has also penetrated the field of sports as a physical activity and as a solution for human physical health. Sports progress is based on the optimal state of human resources, facilities and management. With technology in the world of sports, more advanced sports are also in harmony with existing technological developments. In other sports, technology has been utilized to support and optimize the course of the sport, for example, in football with VAR and badminton with hawk-eye. Therefore, the sport of petanque, which was first popularized in Indonesia at the Sea Games in Palembang, has the potential to develop various improvements through the use of technology. The urgency faced is at the stage of measuring the distance of the ball to decide on awarding points to the team that is entitled to a Petanque match. The measuring devices and methods used are still conventional and have the potential to produce inaccurate distance values and decisions. The accuracy of the distance measurement results obtained using conventional tools and methods is questionable and raises doubts due to various factors. With the existence of distance measurement technology, it will help the referee's performance as a Petanque match court in making point decisions. The use of the VL53L0X time-of-flight (ToF) sensor has great potential because it has the advantage of good accuracy and is not affected by noise that affects the measurement results. By using the Arduino Uno R3 as a regulatory and process microcontroller and a KY-008 laser to direct and indicate the ToF sensor right at the target object. From the tests carried out, it was found that the maximum accuracy value of the prototype reached 98.45% with a standard deviation of 3.01.

Abstract

In the growing era of digitalization, the use of technology is a solution to improve the efficiency of health services. Health centers often face the problem of long and irregular queues. A promising solution is the use of an Arduino Uno-based digital queue. This system allows patients to register electronically through a counter or mobile app. After registration, the patient is given a queue number which is displayed on the LCD screen. The advantage of this system is that it reduces patient waiting time, improves service efficiency, and helps medical staff manage queues better. This research aims to create an Arduino Uno-based digital queuing system at the Dauh Puri Sub-Community Health Center in West Denpasar. This tool consists of Arduino Uno, thermal printer, LCD display, speaker, and wireless push button at the counter. Testing shows that all devices are well integrated, providing timely responses. In conclusion, the Arduino Uno-based digital queue can improve efficiency and patient satisfaction at the health center.
