Abstract

Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen “Two Group Pre-test and Post -test Design”. This study aims to determine the effect of Small-Sided Games and Passing Balance Skills training methods on passing ability. The research was conducted in 2025 using an experimental "Two-Group Pre-test and Post-test Design." A purposive sampling technique was employed, resulting in a sample size of 30 participants. All participants underwent a pre-test to establish the treatment groups. Prior to hypothesis testing, prerequisite tests—specifically normality and homogeneity tests—were performed. The data obtained showed average pre-test scores of 3.35 for the Small-Sided Games group and 3.53 for the Passing Balance Skills group, while average post-test scores were 5.00 for the Small-Sided Games group and 5.13 for the Passing Balance Skills group. Thus, it can be concluded that the Small-Sided Games training method yields a better effect on the passing ability of U13–U15 futsal players.  Keywords: Small-Sided Games, Passing Balance Skills, Passing, Futsal

Abstract

Data dikumpulkan melalui tes fleksibilitas (sit and reach), kecepatan (sprint 20 meter), daya tahan otot lengan (push up 1 menit), daya tahan otot perut (sit up 2 menit), dan daya tahan aerobik (bleep test), kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dua sampel independen dengan taraf signifikansi p ≤ 0,05. Kata Kunci: Indentifikasi Bakat, POPB, Atlet Puteri, Basket, Voli ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the biomotor ability profiles of female athletes in team sports (basketball and volleyball) within the DKI Jakarta Sustainable Achievement Sports Program (POPB) to serve as a reference for talent identification and development planning. A quantitative descriptive method was employed with a purposive sample of 20 female athletes, comprising 10 basketball players and 10 volleyball players. Data were collected through tests for flexibility (sit-and-reach), speed (20-meter sprint), arm muscle endurance (1-minute push-ups), abdominal muscle endurance (2-minute sit-ups), and aerobic endurance (bleep test), and subsequently analyzed using an independent samples t-test at a significance level of p ≤ 0.05. The results indicate that volleyball players possessed significantly higher average flexibility (11.88 cm) and arm muscle endurance (15.23 repetitions) compared to basketball players, whereas basketball players significantly outperformed volleyball players in abdominal muscle endurance (37.38 repetitions). No significant differences were found regarding sprint speed and aerobic endurance between the two sports. These profiles confirm that basketball and volleyball entail distinct dominant physical demands; thus, the findings can serve as reference data for DKI Jakarta POPB coaches to design initial selection criteria and training programs tailored to the specific characteristics of each sport, aligning with talent identification frameworks such as Foundations, Talent, Elite, Mastery (FTEM).
