Abstract

This research aims to analyze the critiques of mainstream mass media in Norway in response to the plastic waste issue in the Nordic region based on pro-environmental behaviour.. The study will also examine the constraints or challenges faced by mass media in Norway in their agenda to combat plastic waste. In this process, the research will identify the strengths and weaknesses of mass media in shaping perceptions and driving positive actions in plastic waste management. The study will also analyze how mass media engages stakeholders, including the government, non-governmental organizations, and industry, in efforts to combat plastic waste in Norway. This research will identify strategies, collaborations, and interactions between mass media and these stakeholders. The goal is to assess the extent to which mass media can engage and coordinate joint efforts with other stakeholders. Mass media in Norway can have a stronger role in influencing government policies related to plastic waste and often urge the government to implement more sustainable measures in plastic waste management. Mass media in Norway can also act as a powerful information disseminator in addressing the urgency of plastic waste management to the public.

Abstract

This study aims to explore image building activities carried out by France on European security through educational programs for military officers. In this education, military officers were envoys of various friendly countries of France. This military officers education is a forum where France can disseminate its national security vision and mission. France intension is to demonstrate its strong military traditions, as well as its solid doctrine and battle strategy in anticipation of regional and global threats. The programs offered by France in the education program are considered attractive to its partners. This study used participatory observation methods conducted to reconstruct the background, motivations, goals, and objectives of the French Government in providing education for military officers. In this study, the researchers are exploring the Nation Branding Theory by Simon Anholt and Keith Dinnie and its application in diplomacy specifically carried out by France, namely military officers education. The findings of this study show that France has strategically made the military officers education programs of its partner countries an instrument of foreign diplomacy in defense and security sec tors, in line with French national interests and France's geopolitical position in the European region and in the world. Abstract

Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 3 of 2022 concerning the National Capital has a major impact on Jakarta, challenges for Jakarta to response the relocation of the capital. Jakarta strives to become a Global City by increasing investment, various efforts are made for increasing and economic stabilitation, in line with the sustainable development goals, "Decent Work and Economic Growth". Investment is closely related to spatial planning. Jakarta publish Governor Regulation No. 31 of 2022 concerning the Spatial Planning Detailed, that have using performance assessment with infrastructure services (transportation, road, and public infrastructure factors) weighting, but limited to use in trade and service zones, has not been applied to all subzones. To capture wider investment potency, performance assessment using land-based weighting is needed such as: Land use and planning; Property Right and Value, and Land Safety. The research aims to obtain weights that can be used in performance assessment to be applied to an area in determining the potential value of the area from the land aspect. The method used uses a mixed method in the form of interviews, then the use of Analytical Hierarchi Process (AHP) in the form of questionnaires with informants and respondents from various stakeholders such as central and local governments, representatives of urban planner associations, developers from various sectors, and academics, followed by data processing in Expert Choice. The results of weighting land-based performance assessments as a quick assessment in determining the potential of the area for investment development and priorities in infrastructure development.

Abstract

The contemporary digital age has ushered in profound transformations in various facets of leadership. This paper endeavours to conduct a comprehensive literature analysis aimed at elucidating the enduring relevance and adaptability of the concept of Servant Leadership within the dynamic landscape of the digital era. The study commences by establishing the foundational principles of Servant Leadership, grounded in empathy, altruism, and a commitment to community stewardship. These principles are explored through an examination of seminal works by Greenleaf and subsequent scholarship. The digital age, characterized by technological advancements and virtual workspaces, presents distinctive challenges and opportunities for leadership paradigms. As such, this paper scrutinizes the application of Servant Leadership principles in digital leadership contexts. It delves into the challenges of maintaining personal connections and empathy in digital interactions, the balance between technology and compassionate leadership, and the imperative of fostering a culture of continuous learning and adaptability. Furthermore, the paper appraises the existing body of literature pertaining to the compatibility of Servant Leadership with the demands of the digital age. The synthesis of these insights offers a nuanced perspective on the applicability of Servant Leadership in the digital age, shedding light on the need for leaders to adapt and innovate while adhering to the core principles of innovation, empathy, motivation, privacy, and ethical stewardship. In conclusion, this literature analysis underscores the enduring value of Servant Leadership as it traverses the complex terrain of the digital era, advocating for its continued relevance and adaptation to contemporary leadership challenges.

Abstract

Brunei Darussalam's national vision, WAWASAN 2035, sets forth ambitious goals for the nation's development, emphasizing a centralized governance paradigm. However, the potential of decentralized governance, as exemplified by China's mayor-led districts, offers a compelling model for achieving national aspirations. This research explores the feasibility and potential benefits of introducing mayors in Brunei's districts, drawing insights from China's successful decentralized governance structure. By fostering inter-district competition and allowing for localized policy tailoring, Brunei can enhance its adaptability and responsiveness to local nuances. Drawing from China's experiences, this study provides a comprehensive understanding of how Brunei might optimize its governance structure to more effectively realize the goals enshrined in WAWASAN 2035.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see what impact nuclear energy has on the environment. The method used is synthesis analysis with a systematic literature review of the data obtained through Google Scholar. This research then makes a review or conclusion based on 20 previous studies that discuss the impact of nuclear energy on the environment. The results showed that nuclear energy had a negative impact on the environment, especially the Chernobyl and Fukushima tragedies. 70% of previous studies explained that nuclear energy has a negative impact on the environment, mainly due to the risk of accidents and the dangers of nuclear fuel waste. Several previous studies have presented mitigations carried out in overcoming the negative impacts of nuclear energy such as health monitoring and increasing safety standards.
