Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of socialization and implementation of Generasi Baru Indonesia Central Sulawesi (GenBi Sul-Teng) on the interest of students at the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business in using non-cash payments through QRIS in Era 5.0, with convenience as a moderating variable, both partially and simultaneously. This research is an associative quantitative study utilizing a quantitative approach. Primary data were collected through observation and distribution of questionnaires, with all members of the population being included as samples. Data analysis techniques, classical assumptions, and MRA were performed using the SPSS version 23 for Windows program. The results indicate that, partially, through the T test, socialization variables have a positive and significant effect on student interest, and application variables also exhibit a positive and significant effect on student interest. Meanwhile, in the F test, both socialization and application variables simultaneously influence student interest. The convenience variable moderates the effect of socialization on student interest but is not significant. However, the convenience variable can moderate the effect of application on student interest, with the coefficient of determination (R Square) being 0.452. This implies that the independent variables' influence on the dependent variable in this study is 45.2%, while the remainder is influenced by other variables not examined.

Interest has a significant effect in mediating religiosity and satisfaction on saving decisions at Islamic banks. Meanwhile, interest does not affect the mediating effect of knowledge on saving decisions in Islamic banks. The research has implications for proving the low level of student knowledge regarding sharia financial literacy, by encouraging student awareness regarding sharia financial literacy in sharia financial practices. Abstract

Increasing the relevance of corporate financial statements to decision-making processes necessitates rapid availability of financial information to users. This study delves into the timely reporting practices of Nigerian insurance companies over a twelve-year period, spanning from 2009 to 2021. Through an examination of firm characteristics such as size and age, alongside the timeliness of financial reports measured by audit report delay, this research sheds light on the intricate dynamics influencing financial reporting practices within the Nigerian insurance sector. Utilizing advanced statistical analysis techniques including fixed effect modeling and diagnostic tests for data normality and heteroskedasticity, the findings unearth compelling insights. Notably, while firm size exhibits a significant negative impact on financial reporting timeliness, the influence of firm age proves to be less straightforward, indicating nuanced factors at play. This study underscores the imperative for insurance companies to bolster their asset bases, thereby enhancing their capacity to mitigate delays in financial reporting. By elucidating the interplay between firm characteristics and reporting timeliness, this research offers actionable recommendations to fortify the integrity and efficiency of financial reporting practices within the Nigerian insurance industry.
