Abstract

AKI and AKB are still a concern for each country and a top priority for improving the health of mothers, newborns. By improving health services, especially maternal and child health, and efforts to develop Desa Siaga can involve the community and cadre participation. A cadre is a community chosen, can guide the community in health issues independently, help health workers in an effort to improve health status. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between Kader participation and the delivery of Mataernal and Neonatal services. This study uses an observational analytic research design with a cross sectional approach using primary data from questionnaire sheets and village standby indicator checklist. The population and sample in the study were all health cadres in Karanganyar Village with 27 respondents. This research was conducted in February-March 2020. Data analysis in this study used Univariate analysis in the form of frequency tables and Bivariate analysis using Chi Square Test. The results showed that 27 samples of 13 (48.1) respondents had a sufficient level of participation in providing Mataernal and Neonatal services, 4 (14.8) respondents with a less level of participation were not given Mataernal and Neonatal services, and 2 (3.7) respondents with a level of participation. well, the provision Mataernal and Neonatal services is not carried out. After doing the Chi Square test, the p value is 0.135, which means p> 0.05 with a positive correlation value of 0.103, which means that the closeness of the relationship is very low.0020The conclusion of this study is that there is no relationship between cadre participation and the provision of Mataernal and Neonatal services services in Karanganyar Village, the Kubangdeleg Community Health Center in 2020. It is hoped that each cadre can play an active role in carrying out tasks in health services, especially in KIA services, capable of empowering and mobilizing communities in village implementation

Abstract

The implementation of hospital occupational health and safety service standards at Wisma Arimbi and Wisma Bima is still not optimal because there are still hospital occupational health and safety programs that have not been running optimally, such as uneven health checks. The purpose of this study was to see the application of occupational safety and health service standards at Wisma Arimbi and Wisma Bima in the Grhasia Mental Hospital, Special Region of Yogyakarta. This is a qualitative research with a case study approach. The sampling technique in this study was to use purposive sampling method with as many as 5 subjects. The data in this study were obtained from in-depth interviews. The safety and security of Wisma Arimbi and Wisma Bima are good. The hospital has a hospital occupational health and safety team, adequate PPE and a good working environment. However, there is a shortage of hospital occupational health and safety human resources where only one person is competent in the hospital occupational health and safety field, while other members have other main tasks (double jobs). Occupational Health Services at Wisma Arimbi and Wisma Bima are already in operation, such as providing additional food, sports facilities and health insurance. But the health check has not been maximal. The implementation of service standards at Wisma Arimbi and Wisma Bima has not been maximal, there are still some hospital occupational health and safety service standards programs that have not yet been implemented, such as uneven health checks, lack of fire protection facilities, and lack of competent officers in the OSH sector.

Abstract

Medicine is a compound that is used for the prevention and cure of disease. Besides having benefits, drugs also have side effects, namely the cause of making mistakes in self-medication. Irrational use of drugs such as drug abuse is one of the impacts of the low knowledge of students about drugs. This study aims to assess the perceptions, knowledge, and attitudes of Health and Non-Health Students of Tadulako University in the city of Palu regarding medicine. The research was conducted by using descriptive and analytic methods with cross-sectional method using Google Form questionnaire with 345 health students and 395 non-health students. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis using the chi-square test. The results showed that the perception of Health Students towards drug safety was categorized as high (88.7%) while Non-Health Students (72.4%), Health students having knowledge of medicine was categorized as good (94.2%) while Non-Health Students had good knowledge. good (86.3%), and Health Students were positive (64.6%) but Non-Health Students were negative (55.7%). In Health Students there is a relationship between perception and attitude (0.000 <0.05), a relationship between perception and knowledge (0.008 <0.05) and a relationship between attitude and knowledge (0.019 <0.05). Meanwhile, non-health students have a relationship between perception and attitude (0.000 <0.05), but there is no relationship between perception and knowledge (0.849> 0.05) and the relationship between attitude and knowledge (0.972> 0.05). This shows that low perceptions and knowledge can encourage students to make more fatal mistakes such as drug abuse or irrational drug use.

Abstract

Cardiac catheterization is a mandatory procedure that is performed before heart surgery and has the highest level of accuracy (96% -99%) to detect abnormalities in the heart, especially coronary heart disease. Through relaxation exercises the nurse's respiratory muscles help patients achieve stable hemodynamics and prevent respiratory complications due to pain after cardiac catheterization. This study aims to identify the effectiveness of breathing muscle relaxation exercises on pain reduction in patients after cardiac catheterization. The design of this study was a quasi-experimental study with a pre-post test approach, which was conducted in May-July 2018. The research subjects used inclusion criteria, namely patients undergoing cardiac catheterization at the public hospital in the rebo market area. Measuring instruments in data collection use a structured format. Breathing muscle relaxation exercises are the variables in this study, while the dependent variable is the level of pain after cardiac catheterization. The results of the independent T test and paired T test and the general linear model repeated measures prove the existence of a significant difference in the level of pain between before and after the relaxation exercises of respiratory muscles (P = 0.000). The average level of pain in the intervention group before the deep breathing relaxation exercise was 3.9, while the average level of pain after the deep breathing relaxation exercise decreased to 2.7. While the average level of pain in the control group with a standard given from the hospital that is distraction is 2.6, while the average level of pain after exercise decreased to 1.6.

Abstract

Hexane is a hydrocarbon compound of alkanes with the chemical formula C6H14. The prefix hex refers to the six carbon atoms found in the hexane and the suffix ana is derived from the word alkane which refers to the single bond connecting the carbon atoms. Identification of terpenoid compounds and steroids has been identified in several plants, namely Red Shoots (Syzygium myrtifolium Walp.), Salam (Syzygium polyanthum), bilaran Tapah (Argyreia nervosa (Burm. F.), Blind (Excoecaria agallocha L.), as well as on the lotion preparations Citrus hystrix DC. This study was conducted to determine the content of terpenoid compounds and steroids found in some parts of plants using n-hexane solvents. Research used is qualitative research with Lieberman Burchard method. Review this article using a method of literature study by searching sources and literature with data form in the form of national journals to international journals about the last 10 years (2012-2021). Identification is carried out on extracts, fractions, isolates and lotion preparations using liquid vacuum chromatography, column chromatography, thin-layer chromatography, and Lieberman-Burchard reagents. The results showed that all of the samples were positive for terpenoid compounds and steroids using n-hexane solvents.
