Abstract

This study aims to analyze, from the perspective of sharia economics, how sharia financial literacy, self-control, and peer influence on adolescents' attitudes towards online loans in Kerinci Regency. The involvement of teens in legal and illegal online lending has become an important issue, as they are a vulnerable group influenced by their financial knowledge and social environment. This study used a quantitative method with a causal associative design and involved 96 respondents who were selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument was declared valid and reliable. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and determination coefficient (R²). The results showed that, in part, Islamic financial literacy and self-control did not have a significant influence on adolescents' attitudes towards online lending, while peer influence had a positive and significant effect. Simultaneously, the three variables had a significant effect, with a value of R² 0.400. These findings emphasize that social factors, especially peer influence, are the main determinants that shape adolescents' attitudes toward online lending

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of cigarette consumption, labor force participation rate (TPAK), and population growth on inclusive economic growth in Indonesia in the period 2005-2024, and interpret the results through the perspective of Islamic economics. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with the type of explanatory study that applies the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) to detect the dynamics of long-term relationships and short-term adjustments between variables. Research findings indicate that inclusive economic growth in Indonesia still faces serious challenges due to the high consumption of cigarettes that divert household funds allocation from productive needs as well as the need to improve the quality of TPAK and Population Growth Management in order to make a maximum contribution to the equitable distribution of welfare in accordance with the principles of benefit in Islamic economics.

Abstract

This research has two main aspects: an analysis of human resource (HR) readiness in the context of accelerating the 2025 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in relation to the economic recession, and a mapping of the number of human resource students at Universitas Terbuka (UT) to support the SDGs. In analyzing human resource readiness related to the 2025 SDGs and the economic recession, we identified several important factors. First, the majority of respondents had varying understandings of HR in a recessionary situation, with an awareness of the crucial role of HR in overcoming the recession and achieving the SDGs. Second, respondents acknowledged the importance of investing in HR development in facing the recession. Third, prior knowledge of HR development related to the SDGs varied, indicating potential for improved understanding. Fourth, access to technology that supports HR understanding has significant limitations. Fifth, interest in developing HR in the context of the economic recession is quite high. The results of the mapping of UT's student HR reveal other important things. UT has a significant number of students with diverse educational backgrounds and skills, which can be a great potential in supporting various SDG targets. However, efforts are needed to increase student awareness and understanding of the SDGs and their contributions. Furthermore, this mapping identified specific skills development needs relevant to the SDGs, such as leadership and technology skills. To maximize the contribution of UT students in supporting the SDGs, we recommend a series of actions. First, UT should integrate SDG concepts into the curriculum and conduct regular awareness campaigns. Second, UT should evaluate and update the curriculum to include skills training relevant to the SDGs. Third, UT should establish partnerships with SDG-related organizations and provide students with practical experience through SDG-related projects. Fourth, UT should expand career development resources and provide information on job opportunities that support sustainable development. Fifth, UT should encourage student innovation and research in sustainable economic solutions. Finally, UT can organize mentoring and guidance programs by experienced professionals. By implementing these recommendations, UT can harness the potential of its students as powerful agents of change in supporting the SDGs, especially in the face of the challenges of economic recession, and play a crucial role in achieving these sustainable development goals

Abstract

Digital transformation in distribution systems has become a strategic issue in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, particularly in regions with limited infrastructure such as Nusa Tenggara Barat, Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the impact of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Sales Force Automation (SFA) implementation on distribution performance, as well as to examine the implications of digital governance in the context of regional distributors. A qualitative approach with an exploratory case study design was employed at CV. JB Distributor NTB. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 12 informants, field observations, and document analysis, and analyzed using thematic analysis and before-after comparison. The findings indicate that digital transformation improves operational efficiency, data accuracy, and coordination across distribution functions. Data transparency enhances trust and reduces miscommunication among actors. However, latent conflict emerged during the early stages of implementation, particularly related to technological adaptation and changes in work practices. Digitalization also strengthens organizational control over sales personnel, increasing accountability while potentially generating tension in labor relations. The study highlights that the success of digital transformation depends on both internal and external factors, especially digital infrastructure and technological literacy. Adaptive digital governance is therefore required to ensure inclusive and sustainable transformation. This research provides a context-sensitive understanding of FMCG distribution digitalization at the regional level

Abstract

Rapid advancements in digital technology have fundamentally reshaped the way businesses operate and compete, particularly within the food and beverage sector. This study investigates how Bakso President Malang well established local meatball restaurant has leveraged digital marketing strategies through social media and online food delivery platforms to expand its customer base and improve overall sales performance. Employing a qualitative descriptive method with a case study design, data were gathered through direct observation, in-depth interviews with the business owner, and relevant documentation. The results demonstrate that active engagement on Instagram and TikTok, combined with registration on GoFood, GrabFood, and ShopeeFood, has meaningfully broadened the business's market reach and driven transaction growth. Key enabling factors include the restaurant's strong local reputation, its distinctive setting near a railway track, and a dedicated digital content management team. However, several constraints were also identified, namely high platform commission rates, limited digital marketing expertise among staff, and the lack of a structured content planning system. From an Islamic economics standpoint, the arrangement between the business and digital platforms aligns with the principles of the ijarah contract characterized by mutual willingness, clearly defined service objects, and transparent compensation terms. This study offers practical guidance for culinary SMEs seeking to integrate digital tools into an ethically grounded and sustainable business model

Abstract

This study examines the development of Islamic Financial Technology (fintech) and its role in promoting financial inclusion in Indonesia. The rapid advancement of technology has significantly influenced the financial sector, leading to the emergence of Islamic fintech, which integrates financial technology with Sharia principles that prohibit interest (riba), gambling (maisir), and uncertainty (gharar). Using a qualitative approach, this research employs literature review, documentation, and analysis of reports from relevant institutions and regulatory frameworks. The findings indicate that Islamic fintech has experienced substantial growth in recent years, reflected in the increasing number of platforms, product diversification, and the adoption of Sharia-compliant digital technologies. Furthermore, Islamic fintech contributes significantly to expanding financial access, particularly for unbanked and underbanked populations, by providing services that are more accessible, efficient, and aligned with Islamic values

Abstract

This study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the transformation process of village cooperatives toward the Merah Putih Cooperative model as an institutional innovation to strengthen community economic self-reliance. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study examines the dynamics of the policy’s implementation in Lendang Ara Village through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results indicate that the transformation process proceeds gradually through organizational restructuring and human resource capacity building, demonstrating progress in managerial capabilities and the adaptability of cooperative leaders. However, policy implementation still faces significant challenges, particularly regarding low digital literacy, limited digital infrastructure, and an administrative system that remains predominantly manual. Additionally, the dimension of business networking with external parties has not been systematically maximized. In conclusion, the transformation toward the Koperasi Merah Putih model holds great potential to enhance efficiency and competitiveness; however, its success is highly dependent on strengthened regulations, the provision of digital facilities, and consistent technical support to ensure the transformation process can proceed sustainably

Abstract

This study examines the regulation and standardization of the global Islamic economy through a philosophical lens grounded in maqashid al-shariah as the primary foundation for building a financial system that is just, transparent, and sustainable. The research background is rooted in the rapid growth of the global Islamic financial industry, which continues to face challenges including regulatory fragmentation, divergent standards across jurisdictions, and the dominance of formal compliance approaches that do not fully reflect the substantive values of Sharia. This study aims to analyze the philosophical underpinnings of Islamic economic regulation, the problematics of global standardization, and the gap between Islamic normative values and the practices of modern financial industries. A qualitative research approach with a library research design was employed, utilizing analysis of academic literature, regulatory documents, scientific journals, and reports from international institutions. The findings indicate that regulatory harmonization and maqashid al-shariah-based standardization are essential for strengthening the legitimacy, stability, and integration of the global Islamic financial system. This study further affirms the importance of reconstructing regulations that are oriented not only toward administrative compliance but also toward ethical values, social justice, and sustainable development in the face of modern economic dynamics

Abstract

This study examines the governance practices of broiler chicken farming enterprises and explores the extent to which Islamic economic principles are integrated into their operational management in Rejing Tiris Village, Probolinggo Regency, Indonesia. A qualitative case study design was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis. The data were analyzed using a descriptive qualitative approach to capture the managerial practices and ethical dimensions of livestock farming. The findings reveal that the enterprises have implemented the core managerial functions of planning, organizing, execution, and supervision, although these practices remain largely experience-driven and informal. Effective production management, including housing preparation, feed management, animal health monitoring, and harvesting, has contributed to maintaining business continuity and operational efficiency. Furthermore, the application of Islamic economic principles is reflected in the values of honesty (ṣidq), trustworthiness (amānah), justice (ʿadl), and social responsibility, which guide farmers' daily business activities. Nevertheless, the institutionalization of these principles remains limited, as business partnerships and commercial transactions continue to rely predominantly on conventional practices without clearly defined Sharia-compliant contractual arrangements. Farmers also face significant operational challenges, including rising feed costs, market price volatility, unpredictable weather conditions, dependence on electricity, and livestock disease outbreaks. These findings suggest that strengthening managerial governance alongside a more systematic integration of Islamic economic principles is essential for enhancing the sustainability, productivity, fairness, and socio-economic value of broiler chicken farming enterprises
