<![CDATA[The goal of this research is finding and describing the effect of mind mapping on writing skill for Public Health students Health Institute of Medistra Lubuk Pakam. The research study used a quasi-experimental study. A total of 64 students came from two different groups, Class A (32 students) as the experimental group and Class B (32 students) as the control group. The students in the experimental group used rational teaching, and the students in the control group used conventional technical teaching. Analyze data using pre- and post-tests. The experimental group and the control group were pre-tested before treatment, and post-test was carried out after treatment. Data from pre- and post-tests were examined using descriptive and inferential statistics. After the data were tested and found to be homogeneous and normal, the hypotheses were tested using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences). The research result shows the difference when students write by using mind mapping and students write by not using mind mapping in the writing ability. The result can be seen by hypothesis testing through SPSS (Statistical Package for The Social Sciences). Significance values were greater than the significance level of 0.01 (<0.05), which meant that the data from this study were considered not significantly different. Therefore, the hypothesis of this study was confirmed. It can be concluded that mind mapping significantly improves students' writing ability for health students at Health Institute of Medistra Lubuk Pakam.]]>

<![CDATA[The hospital as a public institution that focuses on providing health services Transmission of HIV infection to children who are transmitted by the mother while in the womb or during childbirth will usually show signs within the first 12-18 months of a child's life. However, the participation of mothers participating in HIV screening during pregnancy is still low. The purpose of this study was to analyze the participation factors of pregnant women in HIV screening at Tuntungan Health Center. This research is an analytic survey research with cross sectional design. The research was conducted at the Tuntungan Public Health Center, Pancur Batu District. The study population was 842 people and a sample of 822 people. Data analysis used univariate analysis, bivariate analysis with chi-square, and multivariate analysis using multiple logistic regression tests at the 95% confidence level ( = 0.05). The results showed that the factors that influenced the participation of pregnant women in HIV screening at Tuntungan Public Health Center, Pancur Batu District were husband's support (p = 0.001), access to health services (p = 0.033), and needs (p = 0.001). Meanwhile, the factors that did not influence were age (p = 1,000), education (p = 1,000), and trust (p = 0.614). The most dominant factor influencing needs. The need variable has a value of Ratio Prevalence (RP) = 8.299, meaning that respondents who stated that HIV screening was a necessity had an 8.2 times higher chance of doing HIV screening than respondents who stated that HIV screening was not a necessity. It is recommended that the leaders of the Tuntungan Health Center promote health education through outreach to the community, especially pregnant women about HIV screening and HIV / AIDS disease to increase public knowledge (mothers and husbands) so that husbands can provide optimal support for mothers to carry out HIV screening during pregnancy.]]>

<![CDATA[The Covid-19 pandemic is an event that spread of the 2019 corona virus disease around the world. Basically the spread of the virus (corona) is classified as very fast and makes it easier for humans on earth to be infected more quickly by the virus outbreak. Although the WHO, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Indonesian Ministry of Health have issued a lot of actual information and guidelines related to Covid-19, many people do not understand it properly. This study aims to explain the influence of public knowledge and attitudes towards the implementation of health protocols during the Covid-19 pandemic in Sarudik District, Central Tapanuli Regency. This research is an observational analytic study using a cross sectional design. Sarudik District, Central Tapanuli Regency is the location where this research was conducted. The population in this study were all people in Sarudik District with a sample of 90 people. Data were collected using primary data and secondary data and analyzed using the chi square test with a 95% confidence level. The results showed that there was an influence of knowledge and attitudes on the implementation of health protocols during the Covid-19 pandemic in Sarudik District, Central Tapanuli Regency (p = 0.014 and p = 0.008). It is hoped that related parties such as the health office, village and community in Sarudik District, Central Tapanuli Regency can maximize education about health protocols as an effort to increase knowledge, attitudes and actions in implementing health protocols, maximize programs with an intra-personal approach so that each individual becomes aware and responsive to the implementation of health protocols as well as making policies related to sanctions for people who do not comply with health protocols in Sarudik District, Central Tapanuli Regency]]>

<![CDATA[The Effect of Biologic Nurturing Baby Led Feeding Position on The Decrease in Post Sectio Caesarean Pain at Sembiring Delitua Hospital in 2020. Undergraduate Thesis. Nursing Study Program, Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, Deli Husada Delitua Health Institute. Abdominal pain is a major problem in post-caesarean section mothers. Many post sectio mothers do not want to breastfeed their babies because of pain. As well breast milk is very good for newborns. This study aims to determine the effect of the position of biologic nurturing baby led feeding on the decrease in post sectio caesarean pain. This research uses quantitative design with a quasi experimental design with one group pretest posttest design without any comparison or control group. The data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. There were 38 available samples taken by purposive sampling method. The data were collected by using observation sheets of 38 respondents. The results with univariate analysis showed that 12 people (31.6%) had severe pain (31.6%) and moderate pain (68.4%). The results of the bivariate analysis obtained a p-value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is an effect of the position of biologic nurturing baby led feeding on the decrease in post-caesarean section maternal pain at Sembiring Delitua Hospital in 2020. We can conclude that it can be applied both in hospital services and in the community, or even as a learning entry in dealing with post sectio caesarean pain.]]>

<![CDATA[Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a degenerative’s disease which really has been associated with Diet. Diet is depiction abaout the various, amount and composition of foodstuff to some one who eaten everyday. The change of life style shifted from traditional Diet that contain more carbohydrate and fibre of vegetables to the modern Diet in the instaneous form in diet with hinger fat, protein, sugar, sald and e few fibre and result in many disease Inclucde DM. According to WHO, Indonesian is in 5th rank of number of patient with DM in prevalence 1,2% - 2,3% of the total population. The purpose of the research is to know about the relationship on Diet with Diabetes Mellitus type 2 in the Puskesmas Biru – Biru regency of Deli Serdang. This research is a descriptive analytic with cross sectional design (study cut latitude). The sampling method used to accidental sampling that consist of 44 Respondents. Research instruments used to quistionnaries study consisted of 20 questions. The answer of questions which there are in kuesioner, the data that collected is being analized using the chi - square test and counted by SPSS program. This result of this research which is gain the trusted level of 95 % show value p=0,001. This p value is smaller than α = 0,05. The conclusion of this research is showed that a significant relationship on diet with Diabetes Mellitus type-2 in the Puskesmas Namorambe, regency of Deli Serdang. The important suggestion of the medical staff and paramedic and nutritonist is to provide the patient with DM with information who visit Puskesmas Namorambe, to regualte the diet in good condition.]]>

<![CDATA[The incidence of myocardial infarction refers to the process of damage to heart tissue due to inadequate oxygen supply so that coronary blood flow is reduced. Left chest pain is a complaint of patients with myocardial infarction that often appears and in some cases is serious enough to be injured as the worst pain often experienced by patients. Anxiety has been identified as an predictable emotional response due to myocardial infarction. Pirngadi Medan. This research is comparative in nature to mention the differences in the subjects to be studied. Data was collected by using a questionnaire consisting of two parts, namely identity and questions. After doing so, the results of the difference in anxiety levels based on characteristics were 1 respondent who experienced mild anxiety (10%), moderate anxiety was 3 respondents (30%) ), and anxiety as many as 6 respondents (60%). So from the results of statistical tests based on gender, the value of P = 0.005, age p value = 0.007, marital status obtained p = 0.006, and for duration of illness p value = 0.014. The difference in levels based on the characteristics of 10 respondents experiencing mild pain 1 respondent (10%), moderate pain 3 respondents (30%), severe pain 6 respondents (60%). obtained p = 0.021, marital status obtained p value = 0.008, length of suffering p value = 0.020. It was concluded that there were differences in anxiety and pain based on the characteristics of the patient's memory card at Dr Pirngadi Hospital Medan. Therefore, health workers need to improve and improve the management system for myocardial infarction patients in hospitals, so as to reduce the level and anxiety of these patients.]]>

<![CDATA[Psychological problems that arise in the form of sleep disorders, anxiety, depression, and emotional stress. Sleep is one of the basic needs that everyone needs. The need for rest and sleep must be sufficient for the body to concentrate, make decisions and participate in daily activities. The type of research is descriptive analytic research using a cross sectional approach. The population in this study is all class XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2 in SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar as to function normally. Lack of sleep will have an impact on the decreased ability many as 71 people and as many as 42 people as samples with simple random sampling method. Data obtained by interview using a questionnaire and analyzed by chi square test. From the results of the chi square test (α < 0.05), it shows that there is a significant relationship between smartphone use and sleep quality disorders in adolescents (α = 0.00) and the test results show that there is a relationship between smartphone use and sleep quality disorders in adolescents ( =0.00). <![CDATA[Abstract Posyandu is a program to empower the community and make it easier for the community to obtain health services. The most dominanted factor influencing is the level of education and knowledged of mothers. The purpose of this studied was to see the relationship between level of mother’s education and knowledged of mothers about posyandu with the activeness of mothers under five in Integrated Healthcare Center activities at PKM Kayu Manis Bogor City. The type of research is used quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The sample of research is used from mother’s who had toddler and brought their toddler at posyandu PKM Kayu manis as many as 106 mothers used Simple Random Sampling method. The data analysis used was univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using the chi-square statistical test with SPSS version 21. The results of the chi-square test showed that there was no relationship between education level and mother's activity (p=0.253) and there was no relationship between mother's knowledge and mother's activity (p=0.967) in posyandu activities at PKM Kayu Manis Bogor City. Based on the results of the research, the integrated service post manager can improved and developed more attractive programs so that the community can optimally utilize the integrated service post facility in obtained information. <![CDATA[Breast cancer is an abnormal cell division in the breast that cannot be controlled so that it spreads quickly. Pain is a factor that contributes to the emergence of fatigue in cancer patients, and has the potential for treatment. Chronic pain is a major healthcare problem for patients with cancer and a major treatment for cancer. Patients will often feel pain during illness or after following chemotherapy. This study aims to determine the relationship between chemotherapy actions and the incidence of muscle pain in breast cancer patients at Sembiring Deli Tua Hospital in 2022. This study used quantitative correlation using a cross sectional approach, the number of samples in this study was 30 people with total side technique. , data collection using research instruments, for independent variables using medical records, and the dependent variable using a Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) questionnaire and observation sheets. The results showed that from 30 respondents. Based on the results of statistical test analysis using the Chi square test with a p-value of 0.028, the p value <0.05. These results indicate that Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between chemotherapy action and the incidence of muscle pain in breast cancer patients at Sembiring General Hospital Deli Tua in 2022.]]>

<![CDATA[Based on the above background and the problems above, the researchers are interested in taking the title "the effect of vulvar hygiene education on the duration of perineal wound healing in postpartum women at the Helen Tarigan clinic, Medan city in 2022". Analyzing vulvar hygiene education, analyzing perineal wound healing time, analyzing the effect of vulvar hygiene education on perineal wound healing time in postpartum mothers at the Helen Tarigan clinic, Medan city in 2022. This study uses a quantitative research design with non-experimental research. From the results and discussion of the study, the effect of vulvar hygiene education on the duration of perineal wound healing in postpartum mothers at the Helen Tarigan Clinic, Medan City in 2022. The results of the study showed that of the 30 respondents, the majority aged 20-35 years were 24 respondents (80.0%), 23 respondents were knowledgeable with good education (76.7%), 7 people had poor educational knowledge (23.3%). Fast wound healing as many as 17 people (56.7%), normal as many as 7 people (23.3%), and Old as many as 6 people (20.0%).
