Abstract

This study aims to find empirical evidence about the influence of sales and receivable turnover on the company's net profit in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period of 2013-2016. The factors tested in this study are sales, receivable turnover, and net income. The method used to select the sample companies in this study was purposive sampling. To test the influence, multiple linear regression at a significance level of 5% with the help of a computer program SPSS version 20.0 for Windows was applied. Based on the partial test results (t test), sales has a significant effect on the company's net profit with a positive direction, while the receivable turnover has no significant effect on net income.

Abstract

Student’s loyalty is needed to promote the school. Some factors that affect loyalty are school image and satisfaction. This study aims at analyzing the effect of school image to the students’ loyalty with satisfaction as mediating variable and testing if there is the different effect on private secondary students with different social class. Questionnaires to 126 students from two different social classes were collected. Multiple regression linear and Sobel test were applied to see mediating effect of satisfaction. The results indicate that school image gives small effect on students’ loyalty but higher effect on students’ satisfaction. There is no different effect to the students’ loyalty from different social class.

Abstract

This study aims to find empirical evidence about the effect of gross profit, operating profit, and net profit on cash flow of future operating activities in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period of 2016-2019. The method used to select the subject of this research is purposive sampling. The data were tested using multiple linear regression at a significance level of 5% with the help of the SPSS program. Based on the results of the partial test (t test), operating income and net income have significant effect in predicting the cash flows of operating activities in the future, while gross profit has no significant effect on predicting the cash flows of operating activities in the future. Meanwhile, based on the simultaneous test (F test), gross profit, operating profit, and net profit simultaneously have significant effect in predicting the cash flow of operating activities in the future.

Abstract

The study addresses competition problems experienced by BPRs in Kabupaten Karanganyar. The competition from other financial instutions in particularly fintech has led the BPRs to experience a decline in particularly credit performance. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of new technology adaptation and market orientation on competitive advantage and business performance of BPRs in Kabupaten Karanganyar. The study selected executive officers and directors of 12 BPRs available in Kabupaten Karanganyar using purposive sampling. Those have worked for at least 3 years for the BPR were selected as the respondents and this resulted in 54 respondents. Data was collected using questionnaire and was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-PLS. The analysis indicates that new technology adaptation and market orientation have positive and significant effect on competitive advantage. New technology adaptation has direct effect on business performance, but market orientation shows indirect effect on business performance through competitive advantage. Competitive advantage is only proven to mediate the effect of market orientation on business performance and unable to mediate the effect of adaptation new technology on business performance.

Abstract

Every restaurant must find a way to attract new customers and retain the existing ones to create repurchase intention. This study aims to determine customer repurchase intention in  restaurant. Restaurant servicescape and service quality are expected to make customers satisfy and create repurchase intention. This study examines the effect of restaurant servicescape and service quality on repurchase intention through customer satisfaction. It addresses three restaurants: A to Z, The Tavern, and Bowery. The respondents are 105 people who had visited one of the restaurants and were divided proportionally between the three restaurants. The questionnaires were distributed via google form and the analytical technique for quantitative data was applied. The results conclude that restaurant servicescape has positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction and similarly service quality also positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction, restaurant servicescape, and service quality individually have positive and significant effect on repurchase intention. Furthermore, customer satisfaction is a mediating variable between restaurant servicescape and repurchase intention as well as service quality and repurchase intention.

Abstract

This study aims to know level and design of green manufacturing application on Oox Guitarmaker Ambarawa. The level of green manufacturing can be measured using one of the theories from The OECD titled Sustainable Manufacturing Toolkit. Three levels of green manufacturing comprises Beginner, Intermediate, and Advance. The research on design uses the theory of green manufacturing proposed by Arindam (2011) comprising of green energy, green products, and green processes. The research found that the level of green manufacturing of Oox Guitarmaker Ambarawa is an intermediate with 11 of 18 indicators that are green This research also provides results in the form of suggestions to Oox Guitarmaker Ambarawa so that they can make improvements to the indicators that are not yet green.
